I reached out to Chad Doggett Electrical Services, and he responded immediately--super responsive and professional right from the start. I requested he come out the next morning, and he was there exactly as promised. He diagnosed the problem quickly, replaced the breaker efficiently, and had everything up and running perfectly. The work was clean, thorough, and done right the first time. Best of all, the pricing was very reasonable--no surprises or overcharges. I told Jerry I was very flexible on scheduling since I'm retired. My flexibility was put to the test. On the morning of service, Shane (15 years electrician) and Levi (7 years electrician) knocked it out in four hours. (And that included fixing a couple of minor problems, at no extra charge.) They were great (i.e. they put up with all my questioning). One star was removed for not contacting me that they were ready to install my new box until they were parked outside my gate. Fortunately, I was home and available. Great work! I will be using them again to wire my barn. Highly recommended by me.

We went over and looked at it and unfortunately it didn't look like something simple, so we needed a plumber. Our neighborhood plumber was booked a week out, and so were the two others he recommended, so it was off to Yelp to look for one... found a five star plumber, asked Yelp, Yelp offered to send info to multiple plumbers, and Ray was one of the ones that responded. I was a little nervous about hiring a guy with only one review on Yelp, but he had good reviews on Google, Angie's List and other places so I decided to give him a shot... being available to come out the next day was definitely a big plus. I was a little nervous when he came out in an SUV with a magnet on the side instead of a fancy painted truck but he definitely knew what he was doing. Unfortunately we had to replace an entire shower valve ($$$) instead of just a cartridge ($), but he did a great job and put an access panel in the wall instead of just leaving a giant hole in the sheet rock like I was expecting, so that was a nice plus. Other pluses: entirely paperless, Ray showed me a complete estimate before he got started (which ended up being the final bill), and was willing to explain things. His pricing for the shower valve replacement I thought was pretty reasonable. Minuses: when diagnosing the leak he noticed one of the toilets was leaking (into the bowl) so I asked him to fix that... the charge for that was I though was pretty high since he was here for something else as well, I've replaced toilet innards and it's pretty simple with cheap parts. But he did have the price on the estimate so I can't really complain. Overall, I definitely would recommend him and will call him again for other issues... hopefully not any time soon though :)
