I called Ferguson Electric on the recommendation of a friend that has been using them for 15 years. They sent out 2 friendly and knowledgeable technicians. We had a tripping breaker and no lights in 3 rooms. There was a outdoor receptacle that looked scorched. It had been installed wrong and causing problems for years.They replaced it and solved the problem. They installed security lights on all 4 corners. They sent a very knowledgeable man out who gave me reasonable information that I could understand. He didn't seem like he was trying to up-charge me for things. But , the only reason we didn't use them was price. I got 3 quotes. Ferguson was the same as an independent electrician. And another big name company like Ferguson came out and gave us a quote full on $1,000 cheaper than the other two. I was afraid we were going to get what we paid for, but it turned out great. Ferguson was our second choice in case the other company didn't work out. But in all honesty, we really really wanted to use Ferguson just bc of the man they sent out. Have had great service on several jobs in the past. Recently a tree came down in a storm and took out the power to our rental house, completely bending the mast over and ripping the wires out from our service. Ferguson had someone out within 2 hours to start repairs, while another tech picked up supplies. They coordinated with the power company, made the repairs, and had the power lines to the poles reconnected within hours. With the amount of damaged incurred we expected this repair would take several days, but they had power back on for our tenants within 4 hours on a Friday night. And the price was extremely fair, and frankly cheap considering they dropped everything and got it done without an emergency call-out they could have done on the weekend to respond. Thanks again!
