I purchased a replacement Goodman heat pump/AC unit after 15 years of service for our 2 story home last year. Robert and the team came out and expertly installed the new higher efficiency unit. We had some issues with the zone control board and Robert stayed with it until it was all figured out. Fast Forward - This last week we came home from a trip and on the second day home the Air just stopped. I called Robert and he not only responded late that evening but called another customer scheduled for an install the next day and asked if he could move the appointment back to fit our service call in first thing the next morning. (We had no air and theirs was still at lest running) The customer thankfully agreed to the change! When Robert arrived he checked our unit and found it was starved for power and that it was not the Unit at all but must be in our Power panel. I called an electrician and he came out and found that one of the breakers in the sub panel had gone bad and he replaced it. We powered back up with Roberts instructions and the unit supplied cold air! You know you have found a good HVAC company when they are just as responsive and helpful after a sell as they are when trying to make one. Robert and Gary were quick to help diagnose the issue and to help us determine the best most cost effective way to take care of a problem that turned out not to be even associated with his work. We called Robert from Air Solutions first thing Thursday morning (after reading previous reviewers which we felt they are all authentic unlike some other companies online) He was so kind to fit us in the same afternoon. Robert came even before the promised time. After diagnosis, it's confirmed the blower motor's better be replaced. We did not hesitate to follow Robert's recommendation. As he predicted, the motor was on its last legs and sure enough it stopped working shortly afterwards. We understand it is not that easy nowadays to find professional with integrity who tells you just exactly what you need because we previously owned a really old HVAC unit. The reason for this review is I'm really quick to file a complaint about a company for substandard work but pretty slow to review a company that does excellent work. This review should have been filed 8 years ago. I am a retired Navy pilot and currently work as a pilot for a major airline and have lived in the Lewisville, TX area since 1991. Hiring a contractor to perform work on any of my rentals or residence is met with research and scrutiny. Air Conditioning and Heating were especially difficult. Sometimes I'd experience good work for repair/installation of an AC or heat pump unit, other times not. Consistency was a problem. This all changed with Air Solutions. We have been a customer of Air Solutions approximately 8 years and I couldn't be happier. After the first year as a customer I quit shopping for competing bids on repair/replacement work. Robert (owner) and his crew are professional, honest and have an incredible work ethic. Bids for work to be completed are reasonable and Robert stands behind his work 110%. AC went out on a Thursday eve in July with 100 degree temps. Saw the excellent reviews and called them up Friday morning. They had someone out that afternoon at 1:00. Fixed by 5:00. Had the needed control unit at the shop. Also cleaned my two compressors and checked out my second unit. Don't know enough to know if I paid too much or not ($800) but they were extremely nice and got us going in less than a day on a hot Friday. We would have had to go to a hotel for the weekend if not. I can't say enough good things about this company. After a negative experience with another local air conditioning company, my friend Jill recommended Robert at Air Solutions. I called and he sent Gary who came out to my home and serviced my unit for much less than the previous company and no unnecessary extra costs like the previous company charged me for...and their freon was 1/2 the price of the other local dealers I had talked to! Then this year I'm in a different home and one of my air conditioner units stopped cooling. The home warranty company refuses to cover the cost to replace the coil which is clogged, but Robert came out and suggested a much less costly solution to my problem! So glad to have someone who can think outside the box and try to come up with a cost-effective solution to clear the clog in the line rather than having to replace the whole unit. The only place to get your AC serviced in the Denton area. After being burned by another local outfit, I contacted Air Solutions for a second opinion. Robert and George were sympathetic to the way I was treated by the first company. After being over charged by a started capacitor, then being told that i need a whole new compressor by the first company, Air solutions was able to repair my unit by just replacing my fan. They are honest in their business practice and will do anything to give you a fair price and do the job right.
