You might have a good experience once with with a contractor, maybe twice, but by the time you have a third amazing experience, you know you found a gem in the rough. We have many stories, but the latest is from the past couple days. There was water leaking through the wall (!!), Dave came over and quickly assessed what was going on. Then the next morning we saw that the situation has deteriorated and it was actually something affecting two separate units. This was on Saturday night and Sunday morning-- Dave was over in 20 minutes immediately on both days helping us mitigate the damage which was considerable but could've been much much worse. so now we're here on Sunday afternoon, Dave is replacing a water heater, mitigating water damage with eight fans running ... diagnosed the original source of the problem and documented it all on an SD card for us. The quick summary is that a clogged toilet led to thousands of dollars of damage. We're not happy about it, but now we know what happened, and in Dave's hands we're gonna get back to some sense of normalcy here soon. Dave puts his heart... And sweat... into his projects. He replaced the old PVC with copper lines. He attached multiple photos of the work to the invoice so we could see the work which was nice. The office staff was incredible friendly and responsive. Service requested : PRV replacement…read more I needed a pressure reduction valve replaced after my old one failed. I called GPS on Saturday evening, they were here as promised at 11:15 on Monday. The price quote ended up being a great value. The two guys that arrived were friendly and professional. Just nice guys. They got to work right away, and were done in about an hour. Included in the valve replacement cost, they excavated and replaced the old and inadequate builder-installed utility box with a much better one. They substantially elevated the water pipe junction to ensure it remains easy to access in the future, installed an additional water shut-off valve, and added pea gravel for drainage. I couldn't be happier, and I recommend them enthusiastically.

Couple of things to note: 1) rather than being a disinterested automaton, adding us to a queue & charging us a service fee to come fix something that took 20 seconds, she talked to us & now we have a learned skill. 2) the person answering the phone is knowledgeable enough to problem solve & walk you through a basic problem they've received more than their share of panicked calls from clueless home owners about & then she guides you to try to fix it...that indicates to me a company that employs & promotes people with ethics, knowledge & goodness. They will certainly come out to help you, whichever you prefer.

We bought a home in Flower Mound and I contacted Charlie Brown for the installation of 8 tvs and…read moreseveral Sonos products. I looked at his reviews and they all seemed good from his customers so I had no doubt in hiring his company. I met Charlie and he asked for a favor if I could purchase the TV's and the Sonos from him as he can match the prices I received and it would help him with his sales. I obliged but to only find out that after purchasing them, the pricing on the tv's went down a couple weeks later (at this point they were all at his location and not installed). He gave me an attitude and said once they are purchased he couldn't match the price and I proceeded to tell him I would return them and buy them somewhere else. Finally he said he could do it. Charlie gave me a price "not to exceed a certain amount of money to install the tvs and several Sonos systems". He arrived the first day, installed the large 100" and then he left for another appointment and had his helper install the rest of the tvs upstairs . Two days later, he came back and installed the other 2 large tvs and hooked up only 2 Sonos systems. He quoted me 245/hr for 2 men. He still charged me when he left early the first day, on his Invoice he said he was here a certain day and worked 8 hours (he didn't) and that particular day my hardwood floors were being refinished and there was nobody allowed in the house. With the miscalculeted hours, the numerous cigarette breaks he took in front of my house, I learned that this guy is not about customer service, he is about getting in and getting as much money as he can from the customer and not even finishing his work. I have wires hanging down from the tvs, tvs that are not level and 2 of the tvs that have apple boxes that were suppose to be installed behind the tvs are actually hanging over the tvs at this very moment. I contacted Charlie a week ago after his shoddy work and fabricated hours for the warranty cards, the manuals for the items I purchased. Between the Sonos and the TVS alone I spent over 25K and 2 days of labor was 3400.00, so almost 30K was spent and I have not heard from Charlie since this request. Don't be fooled by this con-artist and the reviews he has on here, if anyone wants to see the pictures, the receipts of the Invoices, the emails sent to him, please reach out. I want everyone to be aware that this guy is not who he says he is. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
