The staff is professional, the facility is clean. They house the cats in a separate area from the dogs of course and the cats have their own large cage with a litterbox and bowl of water that's changed daily and two separate perches for them to hop onto. They offer and provide a warm meal for your cat if you don't bring your own food. My cat loves his Fancy Feast grilled wet food and temptation treats so I packed that for his stay which the staff happily gave him. The staff is accommodating to pet's needs so please discuss those concerns with them. To help him feel comfortable with his stay away from home i provided his own small blanket and it was placed into the cage. You don't need to bring your own feeding/water bowls Anchors Kennel provides that. I called almost every day to speak with a staff member who was familiar with my cat and how he was handling the stay. The rates are super affordable the best in the DMV area! You must be current on your pet's immunizations and show proof otherwise you will be denied care at the facility. A pet report card is given at the time of checkout (so cute) about behavior, feeding times, how well pet interacted with staff etc... My dog was attacked by another during his 8 hr daycare stay. We picked him up at around 4pm and later found out that this happened at around noon. We were not notified and my dog was not taken to vet. When we picked him up we immediately noticed he was limping and she (Fionas mom) LIED. I put my foot down and inspected him on their front lawn and found the pictured wound actively bleeding. She continued to lie saying nothing happened and she doesn't know how that got there and even tried saying it happened before we dropped him off (when he was perfectly fine at drop off and I KNOW there were no wounds because I brushed him RIGHT BEFORE dropping him off so I would have seen it). Only after we left and took him to an emergency vet did we get a text from Fiona saying that a dog jumped on him, attacking him and had to be pulled off my dog. This is a very condensed version of the full story but they were deceptive and didn't have my dog's well being in mind as he would have been taken to vet immediately - not laying in pain bleeding for 4 hours. Think twice before entrusting your babies to this daycare.
