Had to try these super tasty and viral pizza cupcakes! I've already been back twice! This place is located in a little plaza in Newton and there's a good handful of free parking right in front. The place is on the smaller end, but there are a few tables for dine-in. This place definitely is more of a take-out location and I would suggest ordering what you want online. Each pizza cupcake is $3.99 (which actually is a very reasonable price) and was very filling with a decent amount of toppings in my opinion. They seem small, but they are packed with flavor. The dough for the cupcake can be on the drier end sometimes if your pizza cupcake doesn't come with any sauce. There are so many flavors to try out. So far, I've tried the Spicy BBQ chicken, Truffle mushroom, Nashville Hot Chicken, and Chicken Ranch. I have to say my favorite out of those 4 is the Nashville Hot Chicken or the Spicy BBQ Chicken -- the sweet pineapple as a topping for the Spicy BBQ Chicken pairs so well with the savory of the BBQ sauce and the tender chicken. I wish the Nashville Hot was a little bit spicer but the tangy ranch dressing and the pickle on top made up for it. Would definitely recommend coming to this place and trying it out! It seems like it's family owned and the friendly service has been superb every time. Can't wait to try other flavors!

I've only tried the pizza cupcakes here but theyre so good!! I tried the Nashville Hot Chicken cupcake and the Chicken Bacon Ranch cupcake. We were dying to try the Chicken & Waffle one but unfortunately they were out. They do sell out of them quickly so definitely keep that in mind! Overall theyre really tasty and fun/unqiue with great flavor. I recommend!

I saw the pizza cupcakes in an instagram video and was instantly intrigued. My friend had been previously, and said they were pretty good, and she normally is harsher than me in food critiques, so I thought it was worth a try. There was plenty of free parking in the front of the shopping strip. When you walk in, you order at the counter and there are about 5 tables to sit at. However three of the tables get hit by the wind when the door is open. I ordered the shrimp Mac & cheese cupcake, Iraklion cupcake, and Cookies& cream cupcake. I also split an order of curly fries with my friend. The curly fries were ready first and were the best part of the meal. Good portion, good seasoning, and good price. The shrimp Mac & cheese cupcake had one shrimp. The Mac and cheese was incredibly greasy/oily, as were all of the savory cupcakes my friend and I ordered. It was better than the Iraklion, which I had to use a napkin to soak up the grease before eating. The restaurant recently redid the dessert cupcakes, which my friend was excited about. However I found the dough to be unpalatable. Pros: plenty of free parking. Reasonable prices. Good curly fries. Cons: pizza cupcakes were disappointing. Overall I don't understand the hype and have no desire to go back again. I was torn on my rating/ honestly I'd say a 2.5/5.

Flavors - 3.5 Textures - 4.5 Presentation - 4 Value for money - 4 Would return? Maybe to try their regular pizza I only tried their pizza cupcakes! And the savory ones. I feel like this would be a great breakfast pastry.... now, as a replacement for pizza, I'd rather have the pizza. The dough of the cupcakes were super crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I'd like for the walls of the cupcake to be thinner and the filling to be more generous - that way it would resemble more a mini depp dish pizza and less a pastry. The double pepperoni flavor was by far my favorite since it tasted like a pizza the most. I also tried the chicken ranch, meat lovers, and the Nashville hot chicken - they are all good!

Each pizza has a generous amount of toppings so you really get all the flavors in each bite. The pizza cupcakes are small (not that small) but mighty. One thing I would say is that the dough for the cupcakes could be a bit less dry. Other than that, super solid. My newest obsession is the spicy BBQ chicken. I never imagined I would be saying this but pineapple can belong on pizza. In this case, I thought it was a great addition. The well seasoned chicken, the Smokey bacon, the spicy jalapeño, the sweet and juicy pineapple, mild cheese, and the tangy and sweet bbq all come together to create perfection.

I finally came to try the famous pizza cupcakes with a friend on a Friday night. The restaurant is small but has a few tables for dining in. I got truffle mushroom, shrimp mac & cheese, chicken & waffles, cookies & cream, strawberry cheesecake & smores. I also tried out their garlic parmesan fries, which were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The pizza cupcakes came out on wooden display boards which were great for presentation. I loved the idea of these pizza cupcakes being a personalized deep-dish pizza. That being said the savory cupcakes were definitely a hit with my favorite being the truffle mushroom. The dough on the outside was crispy, but bready and went well with the savory fillings. The sweet cupcake fillings were good, but the outside dough did not match up with the taste inside. Overall, a great pizza place to check out if you're in Newton.

Nice place for a cold weather. Each cupcake sized pizza is equivalent to a slice of Pizza. Kids would definitely love these cup cakes

I decided to try some pizza cupcakes. While I was pleased with the overall experience, from service to presentation, there is some room for improvement. In short the food was just okay. The service was impeccable and part of why I gave them 3 stars. The dessert cupcakes would be amazing if the cupcake base was a sweet dough, with cinnamon for the cheesecake and the s'more. The crust was the biggest complaint but it is understandable that it needs to be firmer to hold the fillings without collapsing. I will order again, probably for a party. I won't be a regular thing at $3.99 a cupcake. It was a fun novelty and that's about it.

You can only see the muffin top but yuuum tho. Mushroom on left, Nashville hot on right

I was on my way to dunkin when I saw the minimalist, serif-fonted poster for pizza cupcakes in their window. Seemed very legit. I got 2, the truffle mushroom and the Nashville hot. Way way better than expected. You can tell it's high quality ingredients. Buttery crust, tons of good cheese, the right ratio of stuffing to crust. Decadent. Took faster than Dunkin' too! Gooooo here.

I'll most likely come back just to have a few of them Nashville joints. Very flavorful. The service was good.

Back left- Shrimp Mac & Cheese, back right- PINK TOAST, front left- Nashville Hot Chicken, front right- Chicken & Waffles

Not good, pizza looks and tastes frozen. Chicken fingers awful. I've had better cafeteria food.

We picked this place on a whim since we've always seen it but never stopped by. It's good!…read more Bread/olive oil was great to start-- crunchy crust, fluffy center. We also got the gluten free pasta carbonara (great that they have so many gluten free options for pasta and pizza! major plus), pepperoni pizza (thin crust, very nice crunch), and a bolognese (also good, just a little salty). Also appreciated the customer service. I needed to heat up a bottle for my infant, and they went and got me a bowl of hot water. They also moved some chairs out of the way initially so that we could navigate the restaurant better, and were generally on top of service throughout the night. Really appreciated it!

Had a 7:15 PM reservation for Mother's Day, and my wife's birthday. Drove almost 2 hours to MIDA…read morefor special meal with my wife, son, and daughter-in-law. Immediately seated and waiter(didn't say is name) stated they were busy today and number of items unavailable - no pizza dough(no pizzas at all), no marinated olives, no grilled bread with mussels dish, no ciabatta toast with pesto dish. We ordered drinks, and one came quickly. had to ask another wait staff for remaining drinks 10 minutes later. Ordered appetizers, then placed main order. 15 minutes go by, and I see three dishes under heating lamp. Five minutes later those three dishes and another were brought to our table. My paccheri bolangnese was cold, and prepared with spacatelli pasta - waiter neglected to state out of all pastas but spacatelli. My wife's roasted chicken was very dry(too long under heating lamp?). My son ordered the spacatelli al pesto, but he was mistakenly given spacatelli bolognese. He prefers not to eat meat. We sent that back and ten minutes later he received his correct order. The restaurant was scheduled to close at 10 PM. I can only imagine service and choices given to people with later reservation. MIDA didn't deserve one star, but that option is not offered. you MIDAwant to chose another restaurant if you expect better!
