This place is what you want a dive bar to be. The jukebox gets loud and so do the patrons. You can go in alone and you'll make a friend. The bartenders anytime I've gone in are attentive and one will even get you another drink without you having to ask until you say stop or from what I saw from an inebriated patron she says stop. They serve pizza and snacks from a little pizza oven, it's not your first choice for dinner but if you get munchies while there it's convenient. The jukebox is awesome, download the app and you can play music from your seat. If it's dead, and no music is playing most of the bartenders will put it on free play so you can just play music at will. For free. Don't come here expecting high class service, but if you want to drink a cold beer with some fun outgoing regulars then this is your spot. 3s is a somewhat divey blue-collar hangout that has no pretenses of being anything other than what it is. Bottled beer is cold as hell, they have five beers on tap (one of which is Fat Tire), and a few flat screens playing sports channels. Pool tables in the front, walk toward the back and there is a punch-o-meter type thing (?), another pool table, and dart boards. The staff is friendly, the clientele are varied and colorful, and it's all-around a good spot to knock back a few cold beers and hang out. Music blaring from the speakers and a blond bar tender that was super friendly and another employee in a black hat who washed a couple of dishes and then returned to the end of the bar with the three regular people that consume the both employees attention. There is no other person in this place and I feel like I don't belong. Step one take music control from the east corner of the bar....i.e loud and not any other actual paying client desires. The bar itself is great. Everyone is friendly. Bar tender is chill. My rating is based solely on the bouncer. My fiancé and I came in to play pool and hang, when we came in we were one of 4 people in the whole bar. We started playing pool and won two games against others who asked to play against us. By no means are we very good (maybe this was luck?) but everyone was having a great time. Until this bearded guy comes up and says we'll play you. I said ok and got 4 quarters to play. This guy was straight up an ASS. so disrespectful, unfriendly, and when asked why he was being rude he said because you guys are taking up a pool table and you don't even play pool. And it was clear he was looking to fight. He said he was the bouncer here and it was his day off. His name is Dakota. We've been coming there since last summer and never saw him. Either way he was by far the rudest person I have ever met. I don't know how Winslow would hire such a jerk to come in and assume he should automatically own the pool table because he is a bouncer once in a while. read more

Inconsistent, Poor Service and Bad Attitudes. I went to 3's last night after my shift with some co-workers. I ordered a double jack and coke and was charged $10. My friend ordered the same drink a little while later and payed half of what I payed. At 130 am the bartender started last call. My friends and I were playing pool and we were finishing our drinks. At 145 am, a different bartender came over and screamed in my face "LAST CALL WAS 15 MINS AGO, IF YOUR NOT ORDERING ANOTHER DRINK THAN GET THE F**K OUT!!!!!" I work in the industry and I'm not sure why someone would treat a paying customer that way. I will never go back. This bar is a shit show. read more

Now, let me just say that I like a dive bar as much as the next guy (girl). The feeling at the 3s bar definitely OOZES "dive bar!" When we first walked in, there was a 10 second delay as the entrance was obstructed by the pool table. The music was loud, the smell was non-offensive, so it is all systems go! We sat down at a table which was bar-adjacent and waited to order a dive-bar appropriate beverage. Then we waited some more. There was a waitress who didn't seem to be moving our way in the half-empty bar. We seized our opportunity and chose two seats at the bar. This particular bar could easily seat 18 people, but there were only four patrons there--other than ourselves. A bartender cruised by us and went directly outside. Well, maybe next time. An eternity seemed to pass and we finally departed--without a greeting, without a sideways glance, and without a beverage. read more

Not the safest place in town. A young mother goes missing after stopping at this bar, then the next week another guy gets beat up and put in a coma the very next weekend. The night we went there, the bartender charged us 3 different prices for the same drinks. And tried to short change us every time we paid. 1 time we paid with a $100 bill and she just never returned with our $60 change.
