Explaining my issue, I was told I needed a derailleur adjustment, which would cost x amount of dollars, and I'd have to leave my bike at the shop and I will be called when ready. Knowing Big Wheel Bicycles is just a few blocks away, I thanked the first shop for the estimate and headed to Big Wheel bicycles for their estimate. Soon as I walked into Big Wheel bicycles, I was welcomed and a gentleman heard my issue, told me the issue was shifting gears while stationary, and no repair was necessary. Didn't charge a fee for diagnostics/time or anything! I was soon out the door, and rode the bike around the parking lot to make sure everything was in proper working order. Big Wheel Bicycles just earned a loyal customer. They could've charged for a diagnostic and/or suggested services, a la care dealer service departments, to this bike layperson, but they weren't concerned about racking up a bill for me, which in turn will bring them my future business going forward. I am quite happy with the brief service Big Wheel Bicycles afforded me, and I highly recommend them to anyone in search of a new bike or having their bike serviced.

I asked about the parts I needed and he said "text me pics of what you need and I will pick the items up tomorrow morning before the shop opens and you can pick them up anytime after that". No request to prepay or put down a deposit. Just based on my word, the owner ordered my parts and went to pick them up. Called the following morning and the parts were there. Picked them up during my lunch break and went home to complete my build. Shop was well stocked and the staff were friendly and helpful. I know I only purchased 2 small items, but the owners willingness to go out of his way to please a customer was amazing. Definitely found my new go to spot for all my bike needs. Thank you Vito! I needed my rim aligned which I was told 35 but they charged 45 when I brought it in which is ok but also said it would be done the same day. This is the third day so I stopped by to check out my rim and it was not even touched so I decided to take my rim elsewhere, but I asked the customer outside that just picked up his bike. He said there was 5 customers ahead of him and he was told to wait one hour. If you're a regular, this is a great place but if you're first timer, your money is good as trash.

My boy took my Giant Trance X mountain bike into Pat's 605 Cyclery, and Tristan hooked it up. He did an outstanding job getting my bike ready for the road again. Everything feels dialed in and smooth. An old guy like me appreciates those dual shocks -- makes it feel like I'm riding a Cadillac down the trail instead of getting rattled around in a hoopty. Whatever this bike shop did has rendered the bike useless for my daughter at UCSB over 100 miles away. We now have to pay to get the bike looked at and repaired in Santa Barbara.

And when you're cycling, clipping out incorrectly could cost you to fall. Which I did and my knee was severely injured. Thanks to his cheap free shoes. This level of service was greatly appreciated, particularly given the inconvenience that malfunctioning appliances can cause. While not every problem was ultimately fixed, their dedication to addressing the issues was commendable. The timely communication was certainly a positive aspect of their service. I would consider engaging their services again for any future appliance requirements.

The patch work was not part of the contract but set us up with one to get the patch work complete. My only recommendation for future would be to remind customers it is not included so that the patch work can be scheduled ahead to happen shortly after work is complete. Although, the patchwork was only a few days after. We just covered up the outside holes until someone came. Noted a couple of issues that popped up shortly after work was done, but they came back and fixed it right up. Overall, a pleasant experience, good value, and would recommend them.

Steve was knowledgeable, patient, and very informative when helping me choose the right tint. I especially appreciated how conscientious he was about California tint laws. He explained what would and would not be compliant and helped me get as much privacy as possible on the front driver and passenger windows while staying within the legal requirements. The finished tint looks great, and the front windows are dark enough for the privacy I wanted without going overboard. While I was there, Steve also repaired some curb rash on one of my wheels. It came out great as well. Steve is professional, confident in his work, and clearly takes pride in doing things properly. Excellent workmanship and customer service. I would definitely recommend Elevance and will return in the future.

Wonderful and kind man named Ray came out early to do the assessment broke everything down for me; no pressure and said if I was interested to call the office. I called the office told them I was interested in the treatment and gave 20% deposit to schedule a date. On the day of the actual treatment for termites had two wonderful young men come out to our home, explained everything and we're extremely professional and even covered some of our items in the attic to protect them. They got everything done in a matter of 1-2 hours and off they went. A few weeks later, I spotted some termite droppings. Gave them a call and someone came back out and treated it. No attitude, no fuss and very polite and professional. They said if we have any problems, we have a three-year warranty. Thank you. I will definitely use them again in the future.

I got there when I start looking for a factor O2, and I took the opportunity to take my bianchi with me for a small service. What a nice and pleasant surprise to met Hugo and his son Angel. They guided me trough all my concerns and questions about the bike that I want and the bike that I own. More over, Hugo fixed all the issues with my old bike and help me with a bike fitting without even asked for it. He just helped me with everything like if we know each other for years. I felt like if I was talking to one of my childhood friends. He was really nice and friendly. I haven't experienced that kind of costumer service before. Now, I see Hugo like a personal friend and I will not go to any other place for any cycling need. I have two ideas in my mind. One is to get the brand new Factor O2, and the second one is to pimp up my Biancchi Infinito with a sram etap electronic shifting, a rotor power meter, new set of break calipers, FSA K Force handle bar, steam and seat post. And whichever road I'll take, I will do it with 3H Cycling for sure no doubt at all. read more

Super communicative, 100% trustworthy, and his turnaround times are insane. No need for me to hit my local bike shops anymore as Dudley is just as competitive in price (if not cheaper), faster, and more thorough/personable. He'll fix your bike issue, make the right recommendations for additional work that you might want/need, and make sure you get on your bike faster and that you can stay on it for longer. I've had a few bad experiences with my local bike shops lately - they're so swamped right now during COVID that they aren't as thorough or as friendly. That's not the case with Dudley. Hit him up! You won't regret it. His online scheduling is also a really nice touch.
