To book I spoke with both Baldwin and Tony. They were great! My situation was a bit special so I wasn't exactly sure of what day I needed to move so they made sure to stay on standby for me. They answered every call I made, provided me with all the details I needed to know about the move, called me to check in, and made sure they were available for the move whenever I needed them to be. I mentioned to Baldwin that I would have to have them take my things to a storage unit for a night and that the storage place told me that I would have to pay for a full month. Baldwin told me that Amazing Movers even provided storage for an EXTREMELY low daily rate. I told Baldwin what my budget was for the move, and he let me know that they will make sure to adhere to it and they DID. There was no backdoor secret extra fees like with other companies, I told him flat out what I could pay and they made sure to accommodate me. When it came to the move itself, every single person who touched my things did so quickly, diligently, and with great care. Josh, Ryan, and Tracy were awesome. Josh specifically is nothing short of a superhero. When my couch proved to be too big for the door at my new apartment, Josh suggested that him and Ryan take it over my SECOND FLOOR balcony. I immediately attempted to discourage him because I didn't want them to hurt themselves trying to make sure to get my things inside but he assured me that they could do it.... and they did. There's really no good way for me to word this without it sounding like I'm exaggerating for a good story, but I assure you I am not. Essentially, Josh assisted Ryan in getting a good hold of my couch so that when he let go, Ryan would be able to hold the entirety of the weight of my couch (that was too big to go through my door) over his head. When Ryan got the grip, Josh ran upstairs to the second floor balcony, while Ryan supported the whole couch, and grabbed the couch from the balcony. Once he got a good enough grip, Josh then held the entire couch suspended over the balcony on his own, while Ryan ran upstairs to help assist him in pulling the couch over the balcony.. It was incredible. They didn't scratch, drop, break, or even stain it in this process. I was extremely impressed. The rest of the move was very fast. Josh, Ryan, and Tracy were all very quick and very respectful towards me. They had great attitudes and really got the job done in a way I'm not sure other movers can say they can imitate. I want to say a special thank you to Baldwin, Josh, Tony, Ryan, and Tracy at Amazing Movers. I will surely be using them for ANY future moving needs that I have and am recommending them to everyone I know and even everyone that I don't. The cost to repair the tv is more than the entire tv itself. I have reported this issue to the BBB and if no action is taken, I will take it to another level. The lack of professionalism and accountability is unacceptable. Originally they were to arrive at 12 pm. I requested they come at 1 pm due to roommate moving out as well and to make Amaya Movers had room to work. Mr Carlos Sosa stated he could come at 6:30 am, 12 pm or 5pm/6 pm. I agreed to 5 pm. The movers were stuck on another job at 5 pm and I was told they would arrive soon. At 6 :30 pm I was told they were 5 minutes away. They arrived at 8:30 pm. Because of this I missed another appointment.They request you pay $190 as soon as they arrive to guarantee they get paid for 2 hours. I requested a stop at my storage which was 2 minutes along the way to my new location. I was told $40, agreed to $25 extra. The movers were very young, but very careful with items. They drove slower than Mr Magoo. I was unable to put stuff in storage and now have to hire someone else to come get the items that do not fit!!!! Was told it was my fault for not sticking to the 12 pm time. WOW!! Would not recommend this company to anyone.

I completed an online quote request and got a call back (from Patti, I think) the following day. I returned her call, but had to leave a message with the person answering phones. I didn't hear back for a few days, so I called back and left another message. I finally spoke with the right person - she was very friendly and knowledgeable. She said she would work up quotes for 2 scenarios for me, email them to me, and give me a follow-up call. None of these things happened. Meanwhile, I had contacted a few other moving companies, all of which responded immediately to me. I ended up going with Making Moves and was very pleased with them.
