Ordered ahead for pickup, and my drink was ready right on time. I'm glad I did because the line was pretty long when I stopped by on Sunday. I ordered the Frosty Mango Sticky Rice ($9), and it was super yummy! I got it at 25% sweetness, which was perfect for me. The sticky rice at the bottom was warm and perfectly cooked, pairing really well with the drink's base. I do wish there had been a little more mango, but overall, I really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend trying their drinks, especially if you're a fan of mango sticky rice!
Amazing! Fantastic! Stupendous! Magnanimous! Bloody hell good! Blimey! Let's begin this cat review...meow. 3CAT is a boba tea shop in Arcadia at Santa Anita mall. It is one of the most local popular tea shops in the valley. They gave a welcoming vibe and a convenient kiosk for faster ordering. I came late afternoon to grab some refreshing tea. I was in the mood for a new a new boba tea house so I said why not 3CAT. Atmosphere was nice and seems very popular with locals. They have limited seats both indoor and outdoor. I had an Avomango smoothie. It was one of the best boba smoothie I had in a while. They can rival Cha Redefine with the type of boba tea they serve. Service was spot on. Staff were very industrious and competent. Prices were reasonable that match the quality. Overall, I had a good experience and enjoyed their refreshing smoothie. I highly recommend.
3Cat is actually one of my favorite boba chain and I was so happy there was one at the Santa Anita Mall. There is only one kiosk to order, sometimes there is a long wait because of it. When I am feeling something fruity, I usually order the orange tea but my favorite drink is the mochi barley burst milk tea. When I don't feel like drinking anything with caffeine, I would usually get the avomango sweet dew. The shop is pretty small so there are only a couple of chairs but there are chairs and tables outside.
Sunlight mango glow w pear jelly 0% sugar: I was pleasantly surprised with this drink! Esp bc the kiosk didn't recommend 0 sugar. It was perfectly sweet! Hints of passionfruit in a smooth refreshing mango yogurt base with pieces of fresh sweet mango!! None of the artificial sour mango flavor that I hate. The pear jelly has a nice squishy texture and is lightly flavored with pear! 5/5
What is happening?? I hate leaving negative reviews, but this was honestly disgusting. The amount of flies... It completely ruined my appetite. Cleanliness is the bare minimum for any food or beverage business, so this was really disappointing. I'm hoping this was an isolated incident, but I wanted to share my experience so the owner can take a closer look at their sanitation and food handling practices. I really hope they address the issue because no customer should have to worry about finding insects in their drink.
Came here with my family and my cousins family after a nice dinner. It's a nice spot and you order off a machine and wait for your drink to be prepared. The family ordered the Mochi Barley Burst, Mochi Matcha, Mochi Mango, and Mango Sweet Dew. Mango was fresh, sweet, and creamy. The mochi was also so good. Family enjoyed their drinks. And looks like they do good business too as there was a line after we ordered. Will definitely come back again.

I just found my new absolute obsession, and it is honestly next-level delicious. You get that bright, sweet, tropical mango flavor combined with the most satisfying, chewy mochi texture. It is fun, refreshing, and tastes like an absolute treat in a cup. If you love fun textures and amazing flavor combinations, this is a must-try. It's a bit of a wait but worth it for this drink! If you're a texture person, I recommend adding the barley popping boba! Although the drink itself already comes with crystal/agar boba, I like adding the barley popping boba to it. This drink does get addicting... the creaminess of the avocado goes so well with the mango!

I'm giving it a 1 star review because the size of its tea cup used for pure tea purchase. It's significantly smaller than the regular plastic cup used for their milk tea and other tea. The train I received from the staff is because the milk tea has milk in it so it needs bigger size cup. This just doesn't make sense because my tea has cheese foam in it and I also have boba in it which will all use the space, which means they didn't give me enough of tea! If you want to me stingy about the amount of tea you give me, I'm gonna be stingy about measuring why you didn't give me enough of tea!
This is probably my 10th or so time getting their avocado mango dew drink. It's such a good drink, but a hit or miss sometimes and here's why: It's a slush and so sometimes there is too much ice and the ratio is off. It ends up tasting like eating ice without much avocado flavor. The mango they use is fresh mango which is nice, but you need to mix the drink very well in order for the mango to not run out. That's another bummer when the mango runs out and you just end with the avocado slush and some of the crystal boba. I usually go with less sweet, and this too is inconsistent. Sometimes it's not sweet at all and sometimes it's just right. Not sure what's going on with that. I have also tried many of their other drinks, and none of them are as good as the avocado mango dew one. I'd still order this drink even if the taste isn't consistent because the combo is just so good. I like that this drink you can adjust sweetness and it comes with a topping. There is a similar drink at Motto, but you can't adjust sweetness but the size is bigger. Also, order on fantuan if you don't wanna wait in line on the weekends. There is minimal seating inside and plenty of seating outside. I'd recommend this place if you're willing to shell out around $7+ per drink.
So many great refreshing beverages at 3CAT Handcrafted Beverage. My bestie introduced my daughter and me to 3CAT, and I just want more of it. I tried their Mango Sweet Dew drink, which is a smoothie with jasmine green tea, mango, coconut milk, house made milk, agar boba, and grapefruit. It was pretty and each sip was a bit different - some I got more of a jasmine green tea flavor, others more mango, and others more of coconut milk. Loved that kind of surprise. My daughter got one of their matcha drinks and she thought it was alright. It tasted a bit more milky to her, but otherwise was good. My friend got their yuzu berry smoothie (berry purée, yuzu tea, diced pear) on numerous occasions and mentioned it was a good non-dairy drink as most of their other drinks contain dairy. Clean interior and the order process and pick up was straight forward. Nice staff here as well. There are so many other drinks I'd love to try, so I'll try more when I'm in the area again. Those mochi drinks sound so tempting!

I remember this spot being really packed when it first opened and I finally got to try it. I paired the drink I got with pear jelly just to try it because I've never heard of pear jelly but it wasn't my favorite. The milk tea itself was pretty good though. Love this location because I love going to the mall! They use organic straus milk and that's a plus from me because I love places that use real milk in their milk teas and even better yet, good quality milk. You can order by tablet there or online for pick up. PRO tip: if you do online, make sure you sign up your phone number to get points to redeem for free drinks! There isn't an option for that at the kiosk. Came mid-Sunday afternoon around 4pm and there was a short line. You can only order via kiosk. Waited at least 30 mins for our drinks. I would go back for the Avomango Sweet Dew, it was a hot day and so it was super refreshing. I give this place 4 stars for this drink alone. We also got a jasmine milk tea and an oolong milk team and they were both just ok. They also ran out of brown sugar boba that day so I would say it wasn't really worth the wait. Some seating inside but it gets crowded as people are standing around waiting for their drinks. read more

My friend highly recommended this place so I knew I had to check them out. Sure enough the lines were long on a Sunday afternoon. You order through the kiosk and pick up at the counter. I ordered some of their signature drinks: ~ AVOMANGO SWEET DEW ~ MOCHI BARLEY BURST ~ JASMINE GREEN TEA LATTE My favorite was definitely the avomango sweet dew. It's like nothing I tasted before. Super creamy and refreshing. My next favorite is the mochi barley burst. I love the bits of barley, which was a great substitution for boba. I like the jasmine green tea latte, but it was a little light for me but did have great tea flavor. If you haven't had their drinks, definitely give them a try. I always go back here for their mochi bc no one does it like them!! It is so addicting and delicious. I actually really enjoy their soybean mousse as well! I order the drinks (0% sweet) bc I think most boba shop places have too sweet of a drink & their mango mochi and matcha mochi both taste great at 0%. Love their mochi, wish they can expand their mochi series bc I would definitely try more mochi-based drinks!! They are often packed so I would def consider order online if you want a fast pickup or avoiding the kiosk order line bc they only have 1 kiosk in the store and it can get pretty cramped in there. This is a legitimate tea house. There's no food I would order ahead of time they do get busy !!! But despite that the service seems to be really fast.... Considering how busy they were they were super friendly and nice..... This place is super cute. They have cats everywhere. A little bit retro, kind of feels like a funny house. What We Ordered: -Mochi Mango (Less Sugar) $6.95 -Mochi Barley Burst (Less Sugar and Less Ice) $6.95 We've been wanting to try 3Cat for a while, and the opportunity finally arose. We were running errands at the mall when our son found the play area. My wife sent me to get drinks while he played. I waited about 5 minutes for 3Cat to open at 11 AM. When I went to the kiosk to order, the screen asked for a table number, but it didn't work when I tried a few random numbers. I asked a staff member for help, and the manager came from behind the curtain to reset the kiosk, but there was no acknowledgement or apology for the error. I still had questions about the drinks since it was my first time there. The young barista didn't seem very enthusiastic, but I asked for recommendations and he gave me some good ones, which I appreciated. The recommendations were great because both drinks were excellent! I would have given less stars for the lukewarm service, but the drinks were so good. I must give 3Cat 5 stars! The Mochi Mango was a smoothie with fresh mango, handmade rice mochi, whipping cream, and wafer crunch - my wife's favorite. My favorite was the Mochi Barley Burst, a floral black milk tea with barley popping boba. I recommend ordering online in advance to cut down on wait times, as it can get busy, especially on weekends. We will definitely be back to 3Cat soon, and we'll likely try their San Gabriel location next time as it's closer. read more

Honestly my favorite boba place right now! Service is efficient. You just order on the kiosk and wait for your drink to come out. Always get the Snow Frost and substitute with barley boba! It's seasonal but praying it'll become a regular item. We also got the Dragon Well Green Tea for the bogo. Tea flavor is really good and you can get your choice of cream top. We were strolling the promenade on a scorching hot day and decided to get 3CAT for a refreshing drink. There was a line out the door at the kiosk, but it moved quickly. I've had their teas before, but this time I wanted a blended drink. I chose the Avomango Sweet Dew, which had mango puree, agar boba, and pomelo. It was delicious - interesting combo, but I do love avocado drinks. My boyfriend ordered the Mochi Mango -- I'm not a mochi fan, but overall the drink still good. 3 Cat is my first time here, and it is located inside the Santa Anita Mall but in the outside area. This place was super busy and I can see why. The drinks are delicious and also refreshing on a hot summer day! My friend took me here to check it out since I have never been to it and man I drank my drink even before we were done with being at the mall. You order through the kiosk and you can adjust the level of sweetness or if you want less ice or normal ice. So it's all just personal. I ordered the mochi barely burst and man that was super tasty. The mochi has a nice chewy texture. There are seats inside, so we sat here waiting for the drinks but left to go shopping with them. read more
LOve L0Ve Love! I tried several drinks from 3CAT from different locations. The drinks always hit the spot except for the Pasadena location. The AVOmAngo!!! YUMMy!! Always consistent! I also like the Jasmine w/soy cheese foam. So refreshing and tasty. Yesterday, I tried the Amber tea. It was very good as well. The mango coconut and the barley were great as well. The mochi mango was prob my least fav because it was difficult to drink lol I get tired trying to suk up the mochi. Most places would advertise saying their teas are quality, but very lacking. Often tastes like water or very bitter. Will be heading back soon =] Customer service at this location was good! read more

The removal of cheese mango has greatly diminished my liking towards 3catea as it was my favorite drink. Their yuzu berry is my downgrade replacement to the cheese mango for the time being until they release another mango smoothie drink. read more

No one does mochi like 3CAT does. I'm so happy 3CAT exists. I first tried the Mochi Mango at their Pasadena location (before the move) and remembered liking it. The mochi is done perfectly and goes so well with the sweet mango. I've only tried 3 drinks so far and all of them were amazing! If I had to rank my drinks: 1. Mochi Barley Burst - their signature mochi topping with barley popping boba is addicting. The tea was fragrant and refreshing and the barley popping boba is unique and fun to chew. 2. Mochi Mango - sweet, delicious mango in a slushy consistency with their signature mochi. I swapped out the whipping cream for the Soybean Mousse and it tastes a lot better, imo. 3. Avomango Sweet Dew - equally as delicious as the Mochi Mango, but with crystal boba instead of mochi. Overall, I love the calming atmosphere, the ease of ordering on the kiosk, and the fast service. Located inside Santa Anita Mall (Promenade outdoor section!). I was pleasantly surprised by their Matcha Mochi drink! It's a delectable matcha smoothie with large chunks of mochi inside topped with whipped cream and matcha powder. It was AMAZING and had such a unique texture. Because it has mochi, it can be sometimes hard to suck it from the straw. Nevertheless, very sweet and yummy! The wait to order and for the drink to be ready took about 20 minutes, but I would say it's so worth it! My boyfriend got the Avocado Mango drink and he really liked it as well. Definitely did not disappoint! Not too many seats inside so it's definitely more of a grab and go spot. For the price, they give you a lot of product. I loved it so much and I'll definitely be back to try their other drinks as well! read more

We always get the avocado sweet dew and the mango mochi, and they always hit the spot. The drinks are consistently really good and definitely what keeps us coming back. Customer service isn't the greatest, but the quality of the drinks makes up for it. The store itself is nice and clean, which is always a plus. We usually go to their San Gabriel location, but this time we found ourselves in Arcadia and decided to stop by. If you like these types of drinks, they're definitely one of the best around. read more
The store for this location is smaller than the one in Industry and one kiosk but service was fast and the prices is affordable too. I got the mochi mango and removed the cream top and it is good, definitely mix a lot so the mochi wouldn't get stuck. read more
I was staying near the Santa Anita Mall, so I decided to revisit the mall area after 3+ years of last being in the area. I noticed this new boba spot in the area, so I had to check it out. They had a nice variety of various milk teas and other fresh fruit drinks. I opted for the Avomango Sweet Dew since it was one of their popular drinks and also non-caffeinated. I got the drink with minimal sugar, which was absolutely perfect. The natural sweetness from the mango and avocado were perfect, and anything sweeter would've been too much. The sago and agar boba really helped with the textural complexity, but without adding too much sweetness to the drink. For a smoothie, it definitely wasn't icy, so they did a great job in blending it together. The drink was $6.75, which seems to be on par with boba drinks these days. You can order from the standalone ordering machines, and you can see the numbers being called from a tv inside the shop. I came on a Mon afternoon, so it wasn't busy at all. I understand why people go to this place. The drinks are very refreshing and fresh, perfect for the summer! I really loved The mango mochi. The cream with cereal toppings was a nice touch, mango chunks were sweet, and the mochi had a very nice chewy texture. It also wasn't too hard to suck up the contents through the straw. I'll definitely try the other fruity options. Seems like many people go to this place for the fruity items! This specific location had a lot of people (I arrived on a weekend) so my drink took around 10 minutes. Service was through a kiosk so make sure you know what to order to prevent the line from being backed up :))) There's not a lot of space inside to sit. There were four seats against the wall and maybe a small tight seating area. There are some tables outside as well! read more

Since they launched a new seasonal drink, I decided to stop by to try it. Cheese berry and yuzu berries smoothies. Not surprised to see how busy they were since a lot people ordered the same thing. Very disappointing experience. The store only has one self-service ordering machine, with no staff actively assisting customers. This caused a long line and unnecessary waiting, while employees stood around without helping. What made the experience worse was the staff's attitude. Several employees were noticeably rude and indifferent, showing little to no customer service. Even when standing right in front of them, it felt like being ignored completely. Good drinks mean nothing without basic respect and service. I will not be returning and would not recommend this place. read more

I went here on a Saturday afternoon a month ago and it was packed! Expect to wait at least almost an hour for your drink! There was a long time when I went but it moved pretty fast (less than half an hour) and when it's your turn, you just order from the kiosk. You enter your phone # and get a text when your order is ready. Good thing it's conveniently located in the Santa Anita mall so I just browsed around the shops while waiting for my drink. I ordered the Mochi Mango ($6.75) and Mochi Barley Burst ($6.95). The mango was very delicious and the mochi was very chewy and freshly made without being too sweet since I ordered it half sweet. I would say it's 8/10. The mochi barley burst was decent. I enjoyed the mochi but didn't really get much of a barley taste. Maybe it's because I ordered it half sweet? I would rate it 6/10. Pricing is reasonable and the drinks are pretty good but I wouldn't want to wait an hour for my drink. Probably not a good idea to go on the weekend unless you don't mind waiting an hour. If you go on the weekend, I would recommend going right when they open so the wait won't be long! read more

If you find yourself at The Shops at Santa Anita, don't forget to stop by 3CAT for some good boba! You can order on the kiosks they have stationed by the door or via Snackpass. I'm a huge advocate for Snackpass, so I appreciate when stores are working in collaboration with them! I ordered the Golden Amber Milk Tea which is a variation of their oolong milk tea. It was just the right amount of sweetness. I did make the mistake of not remembering to put any toppings, however. Never assume that drinks come with toppings already! (But that's on me!) While you wait, you can take a look around and search for all the cat decor they have scattered across the store. It's all really cute! This place is open a bit later than other boba shops which is a huge plus. It's definitely more convenient to go here, though, if you were already at the mall shopping or hanging out. Otherwise, it may be out of the way to find parking in the parking lots and make your way here. read more
2/23/25 - This boba shop is located within The Shops at Santa Anita. The inside of the store is really clean and filled with cat decorations. You can order at the kiosk or you can make an advanced purchase via Snackpass. I ordered the Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea which, before tax, came out to $6.75 which accounts for the $1 Osmanthus Oolong Tea Jelly I added as a topping. I didn't drink it until the day after ordering it and it still tasted as if I had just bought it that day. It was light and not overwhelmingly sweet. I don't love the fact that boba, in general, now costs $7-8+ at minimum, but this one was good! read more
Definitely one of the top bubble tea shops around. The drinks are very creative and taste delicious. Even with less sugar option they are quite sweet. The toppings are great and the drinks are well made. Open late and they are busy until they close. The interior is decorated very well and the 3 cats are very cute. read more
