This practice is professional, kind, and works with integrity. Dr. Fazal and her assistants have your best interest in mind. During my visits they walk you through what they are doing and educate you on things that are unknown. They also are clear on pricing and do not try to scam you of more money. If that isn't enough, they also personally texted me after my appointment when I had fillings done to check up on me!! Very hospitable. Doctor Campbell may be a great dentist for some procedures but my experience with his dental implants was and still is TERRIBLE! I had trouble with the upper implant but I think it is working OK at the present time. It is hard for me to believe he is proud of his work on the lower implant. First the pin came out approximately six weeks after it placed. One of the ladies reinserted it. Lower one he installed the crown he has had to tighten it three times. At the present time it is lose again and sore if I chew on it. The upper implant is even with the other teeth. The lower implant is not even with the teeth on either side. It is much lower than the tooth in front and behind it. It is very hard for me to believe it suppose to that much lower than the other teeth. I was a patient for 5 years. I like Dr. Campbell, he is very pleasant and makes you feel at ease, his staff is polite and have always explained my benefits and billed me accordingly. The only issue I ever had is when they decided to cancel my Thursday appointment and gave it to someone else. Granted they had called my home phone number three and two days before, but I was out of town. The day BEFORE my appointment I called first thing in the morning to confirm my appointment, and they already had given it away. You do not do that to a patient. First visit I had a deep cleaning, and two more follow ups. After those 3 cleanings they wanted to do a deep cleaning again which my insurance would not cover, because they UNDERSTANDABLY allow one every 2 years. That should have raised a red flag. They quoted me $700 for the cleaning that they assured me I desperately needed. Decided to get a second opinion and went to a very well known doctor with a 10+ year practice in West Frisco. He said no deep cleaning was needed, just a regular which my insurance paid in full. I even explained to him what 380 FD had said and he re examined me again, looked closer to my x-rays and reassured me it was not needed. So glad I doubted them. I almost paid $700 out of pocket for something I did not need. Both my husband and I switched. Very happy with our new dentist. read more

I would have rated it a 1; however the staff was nice. Upon checking in, I was told my balance was $4 which I paid before seeing the dentist. It was also stated that I didn't have a credit card on file. I wasn't going to give them that information. I paid cash. I had a chipped tooth which I consider a high priority. After the dentist examined the tooth, he stated he would give me a temporary cap and I would be fitted with a permanent crown. The assistant called for a treatment plan in room 4. Within minutes, the Financial Coordinator came in to the room and I was handed a clipboard with the total price. Included in the cost breakdown was a 6+ year warranty for $200+. (See photo) For those who have crowns, 1) Are they older than 6 years? 2) on the 6th year did that crown start to deteriorate? 3) how many years have you had the crown? 4) how many of you have a warranty on your crown(s)? I have a crown in my mouth that is 35+ years old! (Probably older than the dentist) Why is there a warranty? I formed an interpretation that with a six year warranty, the crown was likely not to last over six years. I declined the $200+ warranty. Is a crown now like a car battery and/or a household appliance? I explained I didn't have $800/$600 to pay immediately. I was told I could be set up on a payment plan. I asked if I do not pay today, was I not going to get the temporary crown? The answer was yes. During this conversation, the dentist didn't say a word. He was standing where I couldn't see him. This discussion was handled by the Financial Coordinator. Also, I was called an hour before my appointment (11:00a) informing me the 10:00@ appointment was cancelled and that I had the option of coming in for a cleaning. I wasn't going to have my teeth cleaned with a tooth chipped. The scraping and flossing might hit a raw nerve in the chipped tooth. After what happened - no money no treatment - my interpretation made me question if there was a cancellation and this was just a reason to bring me in with money as the priority. The reason I went to this location was convenience. I have learned a valuable lesson. I am not going to choose convenience over quality. I am not going to start now buying a warranty on a crown. I left and made an appointment with my previous dentist 30 miles away whom bills my insurance and then I get statements for outstanding balance. I do understand that building and maintaining a business is a financial strain especially during this time. However, please earn a patient/client's trust that you care. Also, I am checking with the State Board to be better educated on the longevity of crowns and with my insurance provider (BCBSTX) on necessity in buying a warranty. read more

First, let me say that I do like DR Campbell he is one of the better dentists that I have visited. Where this place is really lacking is the billing. After not going in to see him in over a year, we got a statement that just said "You owe us $$$". Had a tooth extracted, a little expensive. Signed up for cleaning for a year. I must have been smokin something as $1700 seems a little extreme also. Moving so asked for refund & got back $158 for two sessions I couldn't attend. Had to ask 3 times for the fancy sonic tooth brush that comes with the cleaning subscription. Appointments with dental surgeons they were supposed to set me up with never got done. If you use these people expect to spend time calling to get them to do things that they say they are going to do. While I think they did a good job on the things they actually did when I was there, I think they charge too much & their follow up sucks. 1.5 stars. read more

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Campbell. Saturday I fell and fractured my 2 front teeth. I am not a normal patient of Dr. Campbell's but i knew i was going to need work done and he had worked on a friend of mine. I reached out to my friend and he connected me with Dr. Campbell. I have been a patient of 380 dental for 10 years. The team there has been consistently prompt, efficient and professional with a very caring chair-side manner. The emphasis is always on preventative care and I am surprised by how much I have learned that I did not already know about caring for the inside of my mouth! I have been going to Dr. Campbell since he opened his practice in Prosper, TX and I have been very pleased with his personal concern and service with me and my family. He and his staff work hard to make the dental experience pleasant for us all and the pricing has been fair and within market. I saw Dr. Campbell a couple years ago and it cost me big. When I say big I mean in both money and pain. First, I'm almost positive he drilled the wrong tooth. After a week or two of extreme pain, he told me that the tooth right next to his new root canal job had gone bad too. Funny thing was that the pain I first came in there with didn't stop until the second tooth got drilled. What are the odds of two teeth going bad at the exact same time? Then the crowns didn't fit. I had to come back over and over to get them re-built and adjusted. When he finally got them close enough, I couldn't wait to get out of there. About two years later, here I am with my second tooth to be pulled out and implant surgery. While he did refund my money for the first tooth job gone bad, he now says that those teeth were too far gone to save and refuses to provide any relief for my new expenses and pain. I go to the dentist for regular check ups and always have. Do yourself a favor and try another dentist. read more

First, let me start by saying that I love Dr. Campbell and his back office staff. I am terrified of dental work, but Dr. Campbell and his nursing staff took great care of me when I had to have some fillings redone and did their best to keep me calm even when I didn't want to be calm. Now, here's where I have to get negative even though I don't want to. I have been a patient of Dr. Campbell's since moving to Prosper a little over four years ago. During that time, I have had two billing issues come up in which there seems to be a lack of training and communication on the front office staff. The most recent issue could've easily been avoided if the front office person had wanted to do her job rather than play on her phone. All that was needing to be done was to verify my husband's benefits through his insurance. Instead, the person at the front desk told him that they didn't take major medical insurance and wouldn't even check to see if my husband had benefits with his medical insurance --which he does and Dr. Campbell is an in-network provider. According to my husband, we are still fighting to be reimbursed for the visit and the front office staff doesn't want to release his records to another provider for a second opinion. Like I said, I don't want to be negative especially since this isn't Dr. Campbell's doing. If you want a dentist that couldn't care more about his patients, then you are in the right place as I have never seen a dentist more caring than Dr. Campbell. Dr. Campbell will go above and beyond during your visits to make you feel comfortable. He will contact you after a major procedure, or even a minor one, to see how you are doing. He'll even get involved in billing issues, if warranted, to make sure that you are happy with his office. Like I said, you couldn't meet a nicer, more caring dental provider. However, I just caution all patients to be aware of their benefits and if something doesn't feel right, speak up.
