There are dentists, and then there are outstanding dentists. Not all are the same. As much as I hate to admit it, I had a few cavities despite my flossing and brushing skills. I normally dread getting fillings because of the needles, the numbness, and holding my mouth open forever. Recently I saw Dr. Rahman at Frisco Dental Studio for my fillings, and it was hands down the best dental experience I have ever had. Dr. Rahman is literally a wizard when it comes to administering numbing medication, and his assistant Imani was incredible too. I did not feel a thing. I was so comfortable, I actually fell asleep during my fillings. Yes, asleep. During fillings. That has never happened to me in my life. Their office is super clean, very professional, and they have some of the most advanced technology I have ever seen in a dental practice. My entire family are lifelong clients and we will continue to use Frisco Dental Studios for all of our dental needs. I highly recommend them. OMG! The absolute best dental experience I have ever had in my adult life. I am so glad my husband randomly found Frisco Dental Studio when he lost his crown and instantly referred me. From the moment I walked in, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Their added touch of being able to choose spa like options to enhance the experience was something I have never encountered. My hygienist Trinity welcomed me warmly and gave me a tour of the facility making me instantly feel at ease. I love all of the country themed rooms representative of countries visited by Dr. Rahman and his family. This personal touch evoked an instant connection you don't often see. Each room also has a personalized welcome with your name displayed which is a little detail but can go along way to making you feel welcomed. I really appreciated their patience and the thoroughness with which they explain everything including showing you all the images and going through the assessment so nothing is a surprise. Trinity was patient and thorough and Dr. Rahman was so kind and approachable. I am serious when I say this was the best dental experience I have ever had. The people are very nice but it didn't feel authentic. when I told the dentist I need a lot of novacaine to numb he disregarded me. It might be ok for a 10 year old getting a cleaning. As an adult, if you are doing oral surgery I want pain control. Telling me to just "crank up the headphones" is insulting. I Don't want to have to suffer through an oral surgery and shouldn't have to. I was traumatized here. read more

I avoided the dentist for over 2 years after a bad experience, but I knew I needed to go back and when I saw the waiting room of this place I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did because the spa-like look of the waiting room extends into each of the little treatment areas. They gave me a blanket, a neck wrap, sunglasses for the exam lights, and noise canceling headphones! I didn't even think I'd want the headphones at first but the dentist told me to try them and I was surprised by the difference they made. They also have TVs above the treatment chair so when I was laying back to have the cleaning / exam, I was able to zone out on the TV and not worry so much. Honestly, I was really impressed by how kind and open and friendly all of the staff was. The lady at the front desk was even nice and I never see that at dr offices! The dental assistant was hilarious too, she was super friendly and really took the time to make me comfortable. I also appreciated how much time the dentist spent with me just answering my questions. He actually talked through my X-rays instead of just pointing at them and saying a bunch of words I didn't understand. I never felt rushed or like I was inconveniencing them, and I was so relieved by how well it went. I've been so afraid to go back to a dentist for so long and now I'm referring all my friends to this place. A totally different experience from anywhere else I've ever been, so if you've had bad experiences I highly recommend this one. They actually care about making you comfortable and keeping you informed without making you feel bad about yourself! read more

Dr. Rahman reimagined the whole dental experience to make it as comfortable and enjoyable as going to the dentist can be. From the latest equipment, to the lighting and smells, to the interior design - it all comes together to create a wow experience. The receptionist was a bit rude. She Refused to quote price of dental cleaning. I guess it's a surprise after you already by the $138 exam. These dentists lately are scamy. They say you need a deep clean but it's really a normal clean and they charge you double. read more

One visit here and I know more about my teeth after spending 30 minutes with Dr. Rahman than I have until this point going to many different dentists over the years of my existence.The dude genuinely cares and it just shows. I am super appreciative of that. The office itself is pretty sweet. It's a nice location, lot of parking. Easy in/out. Some late evenings and Saturday hours make it very convenient. They have a lot of cool comfort features like aroma therapy, neck pillows, warm towels and you can choose what you want when you check in. I said I didn't want anything but Dr. R kind twisted my arm to do the warm towel .... yeah I'm glad he did. It was nice. I think I'm going to start MWaving damp towels at home now... When it came to payments and insurance, they did a god job of explaining what they expected out of pocket and insurance to pay and went into extra detail and not everyone takes the time to that. My previous dentist's office they kinda rushed through that part and really just pushed the sale (that's why I dumped them). I usually hate junk mail but I'm glad to have had Dr. R's mailer show up in my mailbox because I am super happy to have found his practice. read more

My visit to Frisco Dental Studio was far and away the most comfortable, convenient, informative, and luxurious dentist experience I've ever had - all for the same cost to me as my previous dentists. I recently moved back to Frisco and had been looking for a new dentist. After rave reviews from a couple of my friends, I decided to go with Dr. Rahman. Signing up online, providing insurance info, and scheduling a checkup/cleaning was seamless and I was able to do so in about 5 minutes. I arrived for my appointment about 10 minutes late but was warmly welcomed anyway. I loved that they give you a checklist of what creature comforts you would like during your visit (noise canceling headphones, aromatherapy, blanket, warm neck pillow, and others). The facility itself is beautiful and very cozy, as opposed to the cold/hospital-esque offices I've visited in the past. My room even had a customized welcome message on the screen! After the dental assistant took x rays and pictures, Dr. Rahman came into the room to go over everything. He patiently and professionally explained everything he was seeing while sharing the images on the screen so I could see exactly what he was referring to as well. I learned more about my teeth from him in those 10 minutes than I did combined at all previous dentist visits. After that, I was given sunglasses and noise canceling headphones to watch Netflix on the second screen mounted on the ceiling while my teeth were cleaned. After the cleaning, I was given a warm towel to freshen up and the met with the receptionist on my way out to schedule my next visit. I never thought I'd feel good enough about a dentist visit to actually leave a review, but Dr. Rahman and his team at Frisco Dental Studio were all incredible and the entire experience was just so pleasant. I typically am not one to write public reviews, but I can't say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Rahman and his team today! I went in for a standard cleaning & exam, after dreading & procrastinating a dentist appointment for several months. The first reason why I chose to visit was actually due to the ease of scheduling via their online platform - but the actual experience of the visit was 10/10. Not only is the facility itself clean, well designed, and doesn't have the typical clinical smell - I've never had a healthcare professional be so understanding, kind, and eager to educate. The staff was incredibly nice, and Dr. Rahman took the time to sit with me to help me understand dental health and how to prevent disease in the future. You also have your choice of complimentary add-ons; I was given a blanket, noise-cancelling headphones for the cleaning, and a warm towel at the end. I've already referred several friends to Frisco Dental Studio, and am relieved to have a reliable dentist that I don't stress out about visiting. I can't say enough good things about this dental office. It's so cozy and warm when you walk in it doesn't feel like your typical dentist office, every person that has seen me has been polite and sweet. The dentist himself is so nice and really takes the time to sit down and explain Dental maintenance to you. I used to truly hate going to the dentist office because I thought they were going to try and haggle me or make me overpay for stuff and I truly feel like when I go here it's a relaxing experience which I never thought I would say about a dental office and I think everybody should be a patient at this office. read more

After being with some dentists for 10-20 years, you forget how good a dental experience can really be. Old is good, unless it's dental equipment. This was the first time I've ever been to the dentist and came out feeling better than I went in. Dr. Rahman is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, friendly and thoughtful with his dental care. He explained everything I needed to know and I loved his focus on prevention rather than procedures. The staff was also super friendly, efficient, and helpful. The dental studio is also the most comforting office I've ever seen. There's a free comfort menu where you can choose to get a neck pillow, warm towel, noise canceling headphones, sunglasses, numbing gel, etc. Every effort has been made to make the uncomfortable experience of dental work as smooth as possible.
