There are places inside to study and talk, but there is an outdoor porch with rocking chairs and a turf space with cornhole. It truly feels like you're relaxing in someone's backyard. Bonus points that it's walkable from the main strip in downtown, so it makes it easy to head to no matter where you're at in town. They couldn't have been more accommodating, and the staff was genuinely friendly from start to finish. Between all of us, we managed to sample what felt like half the menu: the Southwest Breakfast Burrito, quiche, steak and eggs, shrimp and grits, the Brekkie Sandwich, pancakes, French toast, cookie porridge, and the Carrot Cake Pancake. Let me just say...if you see the Carrot Cake Pancake on the menu, order it. Don't overthink it. It somehow tastes like you're eating dessert for breakfast without being overly sweet, and it completely lived up to the hype. The thick-cut bacon was delicious, the hand-cut fries were amazing, and everything else was just as good. We also enjoyed a variety of coffees, mimosa flights (the G3B mimosa was the group favorite) and a delicious espresso martini. The portions were just right--not the ridiculous "I need a nap immediately" kind, but enough that everyone left happy.
