i hate to speak poorly of small businesses...but my friend ordered a muffin, and when it arrived, it was entirely molded on the bottom. we told the staff and they apologized but didn't offer a refund or replacement. my friend had to ask for a refund. coffee was just okay. the wait was longer for a monday afternoon, which they were training so that's not entirely their fault. my friend got oat milk latte and it definitely has an odd taste. wish i could speak better about a small business and our experience :( read more

This ice cream is as good as the creamery/dairy farms we have in New England. I had blueberry cheesecake ice cream. Tasted like a frozen cheesecake. Not too sweet and lots of blueberries. The waffle cone was deliciously crunchy. My husband had the butter pecan bourbon ice cream as a banana split. The use a whole banana. This one was an OMG moment. The ice creamy is so creamy and buttery. I'll be gaining all my weight back in this cafe. There is outdoor seating, so bring the pup. They serve breakfast too. Stopped at Figs Care & Farmacy for a late lunch on a Monday. You walk inside and immediately get the feel of a quaint, homey shop and my I couldn't wait to peruse the shelves to figure out what to take home. This is a great place to grab a gift for a friend or a souvenir to take home if you're just passing through. I grabbed some locally made coffee, cookies and hot sauce. They have a coffee shop/general store on the left and their food/ice cream on the right of the shop. I ordered their daily lunch special, which consisted of a soup, side and "salad" with tea/water and ice cream ($11). The price was perfect and the good was average. They were serving potato soup, which was a little cold, so didn't blow me away. I choose the pasta salad for my side, noodles were cooked nicely but it was tossed with too much Italian dressing for my liking. The egg salad was my 'salad' option, which lacked flavor and slices of egg were very large. The ice cream was the best part, although they were out of the first two flavors I requested, so I went with pistachio. I'd skip the three star lunch here and go with a stop for a gift/souvenir and dessert, I think the experience of the shop, friendliness of the servers, prices and ice cream put this just over a three star experience for me. read more

I'm giving three stars because I've always enjoyed the food and the small town ambiance (I love their garden and covered outdoor seating) but I've almost always had to order something else due to out of stock items (which is totally fine, it happens, just be aware of it when coming) it's also all prepared to order so be prepared to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of downtown Anderson while you wait, this includes waiting on your coffee order. The gentleman in front of us left without his coffee after waiting and then receiving the wrong coffee (he was the only coffee order) with two staff members behind the counter working on it. We ordered a nitro oat float and an affogato, but sadly they were out of oatmilk ice cream but were quick to offer another affogato in place of it. We will be back and enjoy coming and shopping their small market. read more

This past summer we stopped in a few times for ice cream. I thought at the time that it was a cute little shop, with delicious ice cream. I just thought it was indoor seating for the ice cream shop and we chose to order and sit outside. Honestly, this place warrants a 5-star rating based on the ice cream alone! Recently I was visiting the area again and noticed it was open...and here I thought it was a seasonal ice cream store. I didn't realize there was so much more inside and I was missing out! Oh My Gosh...go inside!!! It is the cutest little shop, with much more than ice cream!!! They have soups, sandwiches, and other things with a cute indoor seating area that is super cozy. But more than this...it is a great little shop with unique items. I could have lost my mind in this store! Just take a look at the pics! Never heard of Methodical Coffee, but they have it here! If you are looking for something different for yourself or someone else...this is your store! I'm sure you'll find something and then some! If you're in the area...check it out! A delightful place that serves some high quality coffee. We stopped in for an iced Americano or two... they were great. Service was good. The owner was pleasant. Reminds me of an old country store. They have a wall covered in jars of country type things, sauces of various types, etc. They have butters, milk, etc. Also some prepared meals, frozen soups for example. There are pizzas, casseroles and similar dishes. We picked up a vegetable quiche for breakfast. When we brought it over the owner asked "Are you sure, it $19?" He's honest. They have Boars Head meat in gift boxes. We think that next time we give a gift or take some food to someone who's sick, we my buy one of these. They have a few tables outside. Cool place. Usually I've had a good experience here but a word of advice; if you go there just to walk in and pick up a few items check to see if there's any adults on site to check you out at the register first. Walked in to get a couple of items and there were 2 kids working in the "kitchen/register" area. I put my items on the counter and noticed they were very involved in taking selfies instead of ringing me up. I walked around to see if anyone else was available to ring up my order. Frustrated I went back to the counter and the two were still fully involved on their selfie picture or social media accounts... I had to interrupt them and ask if there were available to help me. They both looked at me a bit confused and finally came over to ring me up. Honestly I should've just left the items on the counter and left. So word to the wise be prepared to break up a selfie social media moment to get any help. Hopefully this doesn't happen often but unfortunately was my recent experience there! read more

Tiny place with awesome food made fresh. I had a yummy spinach salad loaded with tender chicken, hard boiled egg, and craisins. Hubby had the Turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce and our friends had the bacon and cheese sandwich with peach jam and the huge hot dog! So good we will be back. read more

We have only tried their ice cream and coffee here. All the flavors of ice cream that we have tried have been delicious as were their milkshakes. I tried a gingerbread chai during the Christmas parade and it was very good. The people that work there are all very nice. read more

Quaint coffee food in country store setting period food is delicious period specials everyday and I and ice cream.

Extremely slow and disorganized. Bad customer service. Free wifi and charging stations but the food is just OK. I ordered the grilled cheese and that was good, add the tomato. Price wise i think their shakes and smoothies are over priced. Took 20 min just to get my smoothie and milkshake. Then forgot to make my sandwich. When the lady went back and asked where my grilled cheese is, the workers did not take accountability and shook their head. They no longer have the goat cheese gelato bit has quiche you can buy. The prices have gone up drastically and the summer special are not so special anymore. There is a bathroom in the back, just one stall. read more

Cute little coffee shop/cafe in downtown Anderson. Love the homemade granola and smoothies, organic and so delicious. They offer a a variety of sandwiches, salads desserts and hot dogs. Something sweet for everyone. My mom loved the coffee. Not sure what roast she ordered but she thought it was great. Pretty outside dining area at the entrance.
