Passed through NM for the first time and stayed nearby. Loved this place! We ordered two big pizzas and two strawberry arugula salads. YUM! There were three of us and there were no leftovers. Please open another location in Southern California!

Spicy Corn pizza and cheese sausage pizza

Fabulous. Pizza dough is delish. Great people and plenty of food. We came through from AZ.be prepared for very slow service though !!

You won't be disapointed here. We read a lot of reviews and figured we would try it. It surpassed our expectations. The owner was very nice and we chatted for a while. The patio dining area is very quaint and nice. They have live music on some evenings. The pizza was great!!! They will be gettng their beer and wine license in April, 2026. We don't live in the area, but if we did, we would be here at least once a week.

We have arrived. It took us all winter - but we finally stopped in at 305 Fire here in Gallup, and let me say that without any shade towards our locality, we felt transported to San Francisco, Miami, or perhaps even some hidden away gem in Palermo. From the unassuming adobe facade right off 2nd street, to the encahnting Koi pond with real lily pads, and the unforgettable first bite into a crust so light, that it can reasonably be described as "delicious air" - we were simultaneously wowed and humbled by our first dining experience at 305 Fire. Like seriously, somebody went to Pizza school. My girlfriend and I more than appreciate the goopiest, cheesiest, drippy slice of NY or deep dish whenever we can find it out of town, but we're undoubtedly committed to coming back often - especially to soothe our big box store stresses. This Pizza made us think about life. Shoutout to Duvi! She was pleastant, knowledgeable, and had some jokes. Question: Does "305" represent the oven temp, or an area code?

Not what I expected. I have seen this little treasure tucked away, with an inviting fire that is lit on days they are open (for now Thursday-Saturday). The sign "Wood Fire" pizza enticed me to give this place a try. Walking in was like entering a familiar home. You are immediately hit with the aroma of warm smells coming from their ovens, toasting fermented pizza dough, complemented by their various toppings from basil, fennel sausage, green chilis and pepperoni. Check the menu there is something for every one. I ordered a Margherita pizza and Balsamic Strawberry salad. The salad came first it was refreshing arugula, with sweet strawberries balanced by salty peppercorns, goat cheese (which isn't everyone's bag but could not be left out) it was all wrapped up in one delectable earthy bite. It was only an introduction to what came next. The Margherita pizza, this is always a go to for me with three simple ingredients tomato sauce, basil and mozzarella. These staples were not understated, not one bit. The scent of basil hit me before I had my first bite. Not what I expected to find on a busy road in the middle of old town Gallup. The sauce was full bodied like a tasteful explosion of slow roasted tomatoes. The mozzarella dressed the red sauce with a golden bubbly melty flavorful interior. Every bite was a spatter of flavor. Try it for yourself. I think you will be impressed. Even if you are just looking for a cozy atmosphere, it's almost like you are in another city/town. I ordered their chocolate chip and double chocolate cookies to go-- th that look amazing. I cannot wait to go back.

Have to say this is the best pizza I've had in a long time. The special of the month was amazing! Pasito and fig pizza! The other pizza were also amazing! Definitely will be back! The owner, was so helpful and so sweet!

Then ordered the Coca-Cola cake to go (w the ice cream in a separate container). Server came back and said the manager "caught" her putting ice cream in a container & told her she couldn't give it to us, to go. Said that was "against the rules". And I couldn't have it to go. So even though I'm paying for the whole desert, I wasn't "allowed" to take it with me. I'M SORRY!!! WHAT!!?!?!?!!!! The server felt bad, so she "took the ice cream off of our bill". Well, ma'am... Miss "manager," have you ever had chocolate cake with NO ice cream???? Welp - that's like saying "you can't have syrup with your pancakes - butter with your roll- and apparently... HOT corn muffins with your meal!" So yeah, wasn't going to even give a review..... until the ice cream police told me not only were they not going to let have the ice cream.... But I was going to have to pay for it, regardless! So NOPE! Won't make the mistake of ever going here again! That's the most ignorant thing I've ever heard of!! Looking for all of the socials to post this most ridiculousness to!!! Do better Cracker Barrel!!!

Comfort food? I think NOT. Discomfort food is more like it…read more Let me set the scene. My bestie was traveling with us, and she and I had just had the most amazing Cracker Barrel experience back in August in the Northwest. Great food, great experience, everything you expect comfort food to be. That one even had BOOZE! So obviously, expectations were high. Then I spent nearly 800 miles talking Cracker Barrel up to my husband. I grew up on the East Coast, where Cracker Barrel was part of the road-trip experience. Simple, delicious, dependable, fast, affordable comfort food. I couldn't wait to introduce my husband to a little piece of that nostalgia. Oh, how wrong I was. Not one. Not two. But THREE of us got sick within about an hour of eating. Do you know what happens when three people get sick while traveling in an RV with ONE bathroom? War. War happens. Four rolls of toilet paper, a whole lot of wipes, taking turns driving, and everyone praying to the porcelain gods. Nothing says "family road trip" quite like desperately calculating the distance to the next rest stop while questioning every decision you've made in life. And honestly, the food should have been our warning. The fried okra tasted like pebbles. I'm still not entirely convinced it was actually okra. The mac and cheese tasted like it had been sitting around forever. The steak was overdone. The gravy on the chicken-fried steak looked like it had simply given up. The sweet tea had no flavor, and somehow the Coca-Cola didn't even have bubbles. Our server was completely disengaged, barely spoke above a whisper, and we had to ask multiple times what was going on. But the biggest disappointment was that this wasn't just dinner. I had talked about this place for 800 miles. I was trying to share one of those nostalgic road-trip experiences from my childhood with my husband. And my bestie was right there with us, probably wondering how we went from our amazing August Cracker Barrel experience in the Northwest, WITH BOOZE , to fighting for survival over one tiny RV bathroom. I wanted to introduce my husband to comfort food. Instead, I introduced him to gastrointestinal warfare on wheels. Needless to say, we will NOT be revisiting this location on this trip. New Mexico road-trippers, consider this our warning: maybe keep driving and find something else. The nostalgia was priceless. The aftermath cost four rolls of toilet paper and our dignity.

I ordered the combination; ground beef taco, red, pork tamale and a cheese enchilada with red sauce. Hubby ordered a chile Relleno with red sauce. The taco; corn tortilla filled with delicious tender, ground beef, lettuce, and tomato. Tamale masa very flavorful and pork was tender smothered in a mild red sauce-very tasty perfect cheese enchilada with onion.. The red was absolutely delicious - mild spice and very tasty. Chile Relleno was a cheddar cheese, stuffed poblano lightly battered fried, a golden brown and smothered in red sauce - absolutely delicious as well as the refried beans and the rice. Excellent customer service we will definitely be back.

It's just a big dining room put some plane tables and chairs and a two pieces of inexpensive art on the walls. But the server here was a delight, and the menu had several good choices. I got the Navajo taco Christmas style, which means both red and green chili. It was soooooo yummy and so huge. I was able to have it for three meals and a snack. My son got the combination platter and everything was deeeeeelicious except the rice. Neither one of us cared for the rice, and we both thought the salsa was just okay. If you're driving through Gallup I recommend you get off the highway and stop at gordo's. The prices were great and the food was good.
