Did this 303 escape room tonight with my bf and met the owner ourselves. He was super friendly and welcoming. My bf and I both started this escape room hobby during covid! By now we've done about 10ish rooms together spanning from New Jersey, NYC, Chicago and now Denver & Boulder. This one is definitely top on our list and we highly recommend it if you're at all having second thoughts. Just 2 of us we finished with 20mins left with one teeny tiny hint. Puzzle, creativity, ambiance and decorations were all 10/10. There's a couple of puzzles we never seen before and extremely creative. We felt immerse the whole time and can't wait till the other chapters are open. In Denver & boulder area, we've done a bunch of the popular escape rooms here including the franchise ones. While they were great with decoration and immersion too, this 303 room was the cherry on top with how the puzzles were integrated with the theme and story. Ok I really like this place. The puzzles were GREAT! We managed to escape with time to spare. But I think that a testament to their dedication to making EVERY customer's experience the greatest is what makes this place great. When we came in the first time there was an issue with one of the elements which cost us a good deal of time. The staff at the time were unsympathetic. HOWEVER the owner reached out to us IMMEDIATELY! afterwards to offer us a second chance and to make things right. Our second experience was WONDERFUL! My group enjoyed our time throughly! I love escape rooms and have done quite a few over the last several years, of varying quality. Homicide Hotel is the best one so far. The immersive experience begins the moment you walk in to the lobby. You're no longer in a nondescript office park--you truly feel like you are in a decrepit old hotel, complete with water-damaged corners, decorative ceiling and peeling wallpaper surrounding an old-fashioned check-in desk. The host was warm and welcoming, and prepared us for a challenging hour. Room 303 was incredible, SO incredibly and thoughtfully designed... no cheaply done puzzles or shoddily constructed room elements here. The care and time that was clearly devoted to creating a perfectly creepy, uncomfortable environment can be seen in every inch of the room. The puzzles themselves were a good challenge, requiring plenty of careful thought, movement throughout the space, and the unfolding scene takes participants on a thrilling hour-long experience. I wouldn't recommend this for kids under 13; there are some scary/gory elements. Can't wait for the second chapter of Homicide Hotel to be ready for guests... we will definitely be checking in when it's done! read more

This was one of the most immersive escape experiences I have had! You walk in and already feel like you are in the game. The game master was great and the room design was exceptional. The various types of puzzles and use of technology kept us guessing the whole time and made the "adventure" flow nicely throughout the time in the room. Even though we didn't escape we had an absolute blast!! Easy to get to the building but a little tricky to find the actual entrance in. But once we were in we were greeted and given some basic instruction, we needed this since we were all newbies. Loved that you have the option to get nudges and clues along the way. I did Part 1 over the weekend and I found it one of the best story based rooms I've done. Many rooms have a story but once your inside it devolves into just doing some puzzles in a themed room. Room 303 has an ambiance that permeates through the entire room. And the room keeps building towards the ending. My group, made up of escape room enthusiasts, had a blast even if it wasnt the hardest room we've ever done. The biggest plus I want to give is every puzzle is logical and makes sense. Almost every room I've done has one puzzle that just becomes a brick wall because of convoluted logic that requires a hint and at the end leaves us going "how the heck were we supposed to get that". There are no puzzles like that here and only one bit of finnicky tech but it didn't ruin the experience. All in all, we all left looking forward to going back for part 2. read more

This was a challenging escape room with a frightening twist! The front desk was extremely friendly, but that is where the amenities of this hotel end.
