We did the first chapter, Room 303. For someone who is a light horror fan, this has a creepy vibe but it wasn't too scary and they don't take it too seriously with the videos and fake gore. The puzzles were pretty fun and unique and we were able to progress linearly and escape with quite some time to spare. I would recommend this room for beginners and anyone who enjoys a spooky theme. We're excited to come back for chapter 2! Update: it took a few years and we came back for chapter 2! We loved the atmosphere and room design, but the horror is definitely stepped up quite a bit as well! The hint system is cool and the puzzles were fun. I can't wait for chapter 3! read more

If you like scary stuff or just need an adrenaline rush this was a fun escape room to try out! Derek was a host and he played his part from entrance to exit, I can admit I was a bit terrified with his performance but it definitely added another level that was much needed! I do wanna come again to finish pt 1 and maybe do pt 2. Also READ THE WAVER! read more

303 Escape - Waiver - Escape Games Near Me - Thornton, Colorado

Customer service is horrible and they try to play it off by saying " staff is in character ". Went for my birthday and was excited until i walked in and the guy up front was rude to me and my husband, when i asked the guy questions all he had to say is " I don't know bro " . Automatically threw us off I thought this was a creepy escape in character means acting scary not rude. With that first impression we didn't even make it past signing the waiver or the front desk I no longer didn't want to spend my money there. we asked for a manager to talk about a refund, no manager was there and we were given the owners number who was also rude. When told the situation he got upset and claimed " we wasted their time, money, and employees time " after addressing we would like our money back since we did not even play. I feel like my time was wasted as well I drove a far distance and made this reservation for my birthday and was very disappointed by the service and DIDNT EVEN PLAY! Mind you it was empty and no one was in the parking lot as well. He asked if we entered a room at all or played anything at all and we stated no we didn't even make it past the waiver or past the desk. He said he'll be able to refund us but it's been over 2 weeks and no refund or no one has reached out. Stay away from places like this who just want your money and don't care about your experience read more

We love escape rooms. Went here as a family (the adults) activity. It's very well done. We have pretty high standards after going to one of the best in the country for several years and I was pleasantly surprised by the detail and time obviously taken by this establishment. The room we did wasn't super hard (if you've done one before) but it was exciting and really fun. read more

We had a great time doing both of the escape rooms at 303 Escape. The puzzles were well-constructed and the rooms themselves had a nice usage of technological elements. Looking forward to their next room! read more

303 Escape - Escape Games Near Me - Thornton, Colorado

I'm digging this escape room! I've done chapter 1 (Room 303) and chapter 2 (Dark Heart of the Hotel) with the same group now, and this is one to visit. Definitely one of the more challenging escape rooms in the area, and the theming is really great, too! I especially love that the lobby and hallways are matched to the old, spooky hotel theming. The staff does an excellent job at mirroring the spooky vibes. We had a blast and can't wait for chapter 3 to be ready! read more

Awesome! Kinda creepy and really fun puzzles! We loved the ambience. Can't wait to come back for chapter 2.

Great escape room and reasonably priced! Loved the story and the puzzles. Was just hard enough for us to work well together but not get frustrated. We didn't need any tips but they will help you out if needed! I would say 6 is a good number for this event but good discount for 8! read more

303 Escape - We escaped!! - Escape Games Near Me - Thornton, Colorado

One of the most elaborate escape rooms that I have had the pleasure of experiencing in Denver. They really put a lot of thought into making each puzzle unique and interactive. Our group did room 303 and we cannot wait to go back to complete the next chapter. A++ to our game master, he was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. read more

WOW readers - I cannot say enough good things about 303 Escape. My friends and I went this past weekend and we all left the experience absolutely beaming! Room 303 is an exhilarating escape room that brings a group together in team building as you work against the clock to escape the psychotic clutches of serial killer, Robert Quinlan. The owner of 303 Escape - Tim Carrillo - has created something V special as the experience is immersive & thrilling from the moment you walk in the door. You actually feel like you have been transported into an old hotel with a gripping narrative to match. The attention to detail in the escape room is unrivaled from the decorations to the electrical engineering of the place. The puzzles and fun spooks will keep you on your toes the entire time! An activity like 303 Escape makes you think and rely on members of your group in both communication and collaboration - it's an amazing way to create stronger ties with whoever you go with and create some badass memories. Our group left closer friends than we came and we truly had the best time! We didn't make it out alive unfortunately lol lol - but that didn't take away from our fun and we were close to escaping! To fully enjoy 303 Escape - make sure to wear comfortable shoes and eat/drink prior to arriving; also make sure to use one of the two restrooms onsite before starting your experience. This way you'll be ready for an hour of mysterious & freaky fun unbothered and uninterrupted. Arrive 10-15 mins prior to your reservation to prep for the escape room and sign necessary waivers. Tim has also ensured the safety of his guests by taking proactive measures against Covid-19 to ensure 303 Escape is safe and sanitized for all customers. Today is a good day to escape!! read more

Did this 303 escape room tonight with my bf and met the owner ourselves. He was super friendly and welcoming. My bf and I both started this escape room hobby during covid! By now we've done about 10ish rooms together spanning from New Jersey, NYC, Chicago and now Denver & Boulder. This one is definitely top on our list and we highly recommend it if you're at all having second thoughts. Just 2 of us we finished with 20mins left with one teeny tiny hint. Puzzle, creativity, ambiance and decorations were all 10/10. There's a couple of puzzles we never seen before and extremely creative. We felt immerse the whole time and can't wait till the other chapters are open. In Denver & boulder area, we've done a bunch of the popular escape rooms here including the franchise ones. While they were great with decoration and immersion too, this 303 room was the cherry on top with how the puzzles were integrated with the theme and story. Can't say any spoilers so go check this place out. read more

303 Escape - Escaped in time! - Escape Games Near Me - Thornton, Colorado

We had so much fun!! Our favorite escape room that we have ever done. It's a trilogy, so start with room 303 and then move up! We will be back to continue the story read more

Ok I really like this place. The puzzles were GREAT! We managed to escape with time to spare. But I think that a testament to their dedication to making EVERY customer's experience the greatest is what makes this place great. When we came in the first time there was an issue with one of the elements which cost us a good deal of time. The staff at the time were unsympathetic. HOWEVER the owner reached out to us IMMEDIATELY! afterwards to offer us a second chance and to make things right. Our second experience was WONDERFUL! My group enjoyed our time throughly! I am excited for the next chapter! read more

303 Escape - Myself, my Son and my Dad - Escape Games Near Me - Thornton, Colorado

Definitely the best escape room I've ever done (and I've been to a ton of them.) I've done part I and part II. Both of them are well-thought out and entertaining. They truly make the experience immersive; it feels like you really are in an old hotel! I can't wait to see if they come out with a part 3 in the future. read more

303 Escape - We didn't escape but it was still fun! - Escape Games Near Me - Thornton, Colorado

I love escape rooms and have done quite a few over the last several years, of varying quality. Homicide Hotel is the best one so far. The immersive experience begins the moment you walk in to the lobby. You're no longer in a nondescript office park--you truly feel like you are in a decrepit old hotel, complete with water-damaged corners, decorative ceiling and peeling wallpaper surrounding an old-fashioned check-in desk. The host was warm and welcoming, and prepared us for a challenging hour. Room 303 was incredible, SO incredibly and thoughtfully designed... no cheaply done puzzles or shoddily constructed room elements here. The care and time that was clearly devoted to creating a perfectly creepy, uncomfortable environment can be seen in every inch of the room. The puzzles themselves were a good challenge, requiring plenty of careful thought, movement throughout the space, and the unfolding scene takes participants on a thrilling hour-long experience. I wouldn't recommend this for kids under 13; there are some scary/gory elements. Can't wait for the second chapter of Homicide Hotel to be ready for guests... we will definitely be checking in when it's done! read more

Definitely one of the best escape rooms I've seen. It was fun going at night and it being a little creepier. What a blast.

We've been to several escape rooms and I can say this is by far my favorite! Great interactive clues and nudges if you need, the surprises throughout the time made it more memorable and fun. read more

303 Escape - Check in to the horror hotel! - Escape Games Near Me - Thornton, Colorado

This was one of the most immersive escape experiences I have had! You walk in and already feel like you are in the game. The game master was great and the room design was exceptional. The various types of puzzles and use of technology kept us guessing the whole time and made the "adventure" flow nicely throughout the time in the room. The "scare" factor was not at all disruptive but definitely kept things interesting. Can't wait to do Chapter 2! read more

It was mentally stimulating and quite challenging. Had a great time trying to solve it.

Super fun escape room! Few jumpscare that really got my friends (not me!). Would recommend:)

So I joined my friends who are frequent escape roomers... this was my first, and it was absolutely amazing. My friends had done the first puzzle of this place, we were doing the second in the series of three, I can't wait for the third one to come out. They did a great job of making it equally scary/creepy, intriguing, and difficult. I highly recommend this place! read more

Even though we didn't escape we had an absolute blast!! Easy to get to the building but a little tricky to find the actual entrance in. But once we were in we were greeted and given some basic instruction, we needed this since we were all newbies. Loved that you have the option to get nudges and clues along the way. We will definitely be back!! Oh and you don't have to play chapter one first, that was all booked so we skipped right to chapter 2. read more

Tons of fun and just spooky enough that it'll give you a thrill! Don't be Robert's next victim...

We had a blast! Room 303 was challenging but so much fun. This is the best escape room I've been to by far. We escaped and will be back again to try to escape The Dark Heart of the Hotel! read more

Great fun with a family. super cool set and decently hard. employees fit the vibe of the room and storytold very well. recommend!

An amazing experience for anyone looking for a thrill. Go check 'em out!! The room is creepy and the puzzles will challenge anyones ability.

I did Part 1 over the weekend and I found it one of the best story based rooms I've done. Many rooms have a story but once your inside it devolves into just doing some puzzles in a themed room. Room 303 has an ambiance that permeates through the entire room. And the room keeps building towards the ending. My group, made up of escape room enthusiasts, had a blast even if it wasnt the hardest room we've ever done. The biggest plus I want to give is every puzzle is logical and makes sense. Almost every room I've done has one puzzle that just becomes a brick wall because of convoluted logic that requires a hint and at the end leaves us going "how the heck were we supposed to get that". There are no puzzles like that here and only one bit of finnicky tech but it didn't ruin the experience. All in all, we all left looking forward to going back for part 2. read more

Awesome experience! Great fun for the family. Great job on the room. Challenging but not too hard. Everyone in the group got to help solve. read more

This was a challenging escape room with a frightening twist! The front desk was extremely friendly, but that is where the amenities of this hotel end. The story was creative and elaborate with surprises that kept us on our toes the whole time. I am definitely keeping this in mind for next Halloween suggestions! Thanks for a great night! read more

DUDE!!! Ok, I'm from California where me (and my team) have done 50 plus escape rooms. And we've done some of the best/highest rated escape rooms in the world. My girlfriend and I were on vacation in Colorado, and decided to see what rooms were available. 303 was highly rated, so we thought "why not." BEST DECISION OF THE TRIP! Not only is this probably the best room in Colorado, but one of the best rooms we've EVER seen. The puzzles were super clever, the customer service was impeccable, and the theming was NEXT LEVEL. Congrats 303!!! Can't wait to come back for chapter two. read more

Josh was an amazing Game Master!! One of the best escape rooms I've played! A must go, can't wait for part 2!!!

I rarely write reviews but this is an exception. I have done my fair share of escape rooms and 303 Escape set the bar as high as it could go! As soon as you walk through the front door the experience begins. You are transported to a hotel lobby and are greeted by the friendly hotel staff as they check you into your room. 303 Escape has masterfully incorporated an immersive story, brain twitching puzzles, purposeful decor and a horrifying eeriness. This place is perfect for horror/thrill seekers who have had some experience. Nevertheless, this experience is one I will never forget! Can't wait for the next chapter to begin! read more
