The wait wasn't too long and if learned that if I wanted to, I couldn't schedule a professional fitting too. I met Ty as my fitter. He was fantastic! Educational and considerate...definitely no pressure on having to buy something and cared more on ensuring the experience mattered so that I make the right decision on a large investment. He started out with checking my foot size (seated & standing), working through the 2 major red flags of fitting, got the size for me to check out the boot, let me roam for a bit to see the feel, checked in on comfort, was very transparent on how his decision making would go, and I could go on. I'm very impressed. Unfortunately, the sizes that likely works for me wasn't there to try as it's almost season start and things from last season were selling out fast. Looking to see if there were any deals and best was 20% as a member as the Evo anniversary deal didnt do hard goods. All good though...I would definitely come back if circumstances change in the future...meanwhile give Ty a raise as he was fantastic!!! Evo...well done with having awesome staff members!

It is rare these days and how you make loyalty customers. But please turn of your customer AI bot till it is ready to be useful, it almost lost you a good customer to save 50 cents.

My board was flying down the hill the other day, and I could hear the edges really digging in to the snow. They are truly "sharp," and the shop even filled in a couple of dings on the bottom of the board. Given the work quality and price point, you can't go wrong here!

I was told they'd get it rebuilt then contact me when it was ready. I didn't hear anything back and when I reached out yesterday that's the first time they tried to fix it saying they could send it off to be done locally. What were they doing the past 6 weeks?? I can't imagine relying on this place to services bike in riding season with any sense of confidence. While they blamed it on Fox for warranty issues, the first they asked about what year it was to see if it was recall eligible was yesterday, so it clearly was sitting there for 6 weeks collecting dust. Tried to keep business at a small shop, but very disappointed. Picked up my bike and will take my business elsewhere.

So, today, I was super excited to find my Specialized Crossroads 1.0 bike in stock at Derby Bicycle. I found this bike at Derby Bicycle center, in stock, this morning. I bought and paid for that bike at 7:31 am. I got my receipt at 7.34 am. Two buses and one train later, I walked to the derby bike shop to ask about my purchase. They didn't have my (in stock) purchased bike. The email explaining this had been sent 10 minutes before I arrived and 3 hours after they had charged my card. Between the in-person conversation and my vendor email, there was NO apology. My bike was NOT in stock. And a gravely voiced guy was like, yeah this bike is out of stock. 'Let me show you something similar.' You sold me a bike that is NOT in stock so you can show me another bike once I'm in store? No, thanks.
