Item re-listed at the same grade but with a "disclaimer" about the wear that would make it not VG+ but G+.

This is a review for their Discogs web store. They lie about the condition of an item, then post retaliatory negative feedback when they only received neutral feedback for their incredibly misleading listing. Absolutely not a stand-up person to do business with, avoid at all costs, your money is better spent at business who do not lie and attack customers.

Price gouging at Angelo's vs retail pricing at twist and shout
Todd L.

I used to like this shop until I realized they're ripping off their customers. I bought a bunch of stuff here on record store day and then happened to be in Twist and Shout and Wax Trax later that same day to pick up some releases for a friend. The exact same releases were all over 30% cheaper at both of the other shops. Every single release was marked up like this, not just select ones. I wasted $100 shopping at Angelos just because they'd rather rip off their customers than adhere to suggested retail pricing. To top it off, they don't allow returns, only exchanges so choose your overpriced records carefully!

Purchased a CD from Angelo's online through Amazon. Very carefully packaged and it was shipped quickly. Angelo's cares about customers.

It's in a strip mall just east of Kipling off of Coal Mine in Littleton. What makes this place nicer than most I've visited is the albums are well organized and of high quality. I was looking for an old Traffic album. I found a few copies and each was priced between $12 and $18 based on their quality. I like that there is different pricing because it lets me know which is the best copy. I got the one for $18 and it's perfect. The vinyl quality was beautiful and I've played both sides many times already. The album looks and sounds like it's brand new even though it's from the 1970s. Looking through his selections you can tell Joe is very picky as to the quality of albums he buys. The covers are in great condition and each record is in its own plastic sleeve. He takes his vinyl seriously. Half of the store is dedicated to the records. The other half looks like old DVDs, books, jewelry, antiques, trinkets, and memorabilia. Honestly, I was just interested in the vinyl so I just glossed over the other half of the store. But if you're into vinyl records (albums and 45s) this store is well worth a trip to check it out!

Even as my second time here in the last 4 years I was happy to see Twist & Shout made MORE room for vinyl selections and browsing space. You still have other media too include DVDs (rare and hard to find selections), CDs, cassettes, and unique and local gifts and items. Take some time to look around here even up and down the walls. There is a really cool yellow Bruce Springsteen marquee in the sell/buy area. We spent over an hour here browsing and I walked out with two vinyl albums I had on my "Must-Have" list of analog music. Great and fair pricing on their "Used" records but to be honest all music is priced fairly. Really cool location with friendly service from the staff. If you have any questions on where things are or on the thing(s) you are looking for don't hesitate to ask! Also go over to the free publication area (at the exit) and check out all of the cool (and free) postcards from Twist & Shout along with flyers and freebies promoting any upcoming art, music shows, upcoming albums, and whatnot.

The staff is friendly and helpful to answer all of my questions. I reflected on all the cool vinyl albums that I've had in past and at Twist & Shout you can relive them & purchase them. Their selection is so vast that I believe you would find what you are looking for. I came to see if they wanted any of my old CDs. They did take some of them and I received store credit! Free parking is available in the back. Go check it out, you won't be disappointed! Who knew that they have been around since 1988 and it all began with 2 English teachers purchasing the store at an auction. Oh and check out the food trucks across the street on Saturday's before 1 pm!

This was a fun find in Nederland…read more I've been a vinyl junkie for years and have slipped off the beaten path over the last few years. This was the necessary kick in the pants I needed. My wife and I were enjoying a nice walk around town and as soon as I saw a record store (in this tiny town, no less) I knew I had hit the jackpot. It's a small shop, though it packs a punch. They were undergoing some maneuvering and restocking on this particular day, so they have an even larger more robust collection than what I happened to see. I always let the record store guide me to ear porn enlightenment. I enjoy many genres of music, but when I visit a shop I read the room and let the music do the talking. Which led me to the reissued release of High On Fire's "Art of Self Defense' a cult classic in the stoner metal realm. Picked it up and bought it on the spot. The employee was super kind and down to earth. I spent a good chunk of time sifting through records, but knew my wife would kill me if I spent too much time in there. Now I get to add a wonderful record store to my Nederland excursions. Consider me a happy camper!

I enjoyed my stop in, found a record I was on the hunt for.
