Disappointing and declining venue. Ever since new ownership and pandemic menu changed, food quality and service have gone down hill. Hand cut fries no longer, lunch menu has decreased selection, burgers decreased in size and quality, pizza is no longer acceptable. This is our favorite go to place on Friday and Saturday nights. They have great bands great service great food and great microbe brew. It is family friendly pet friendly and very clean and well-kept. First, the downside, speed of service. Waited at least five minutes, standing at the bar, to order. That aside, still deserves a five star rating. First thing was, when entered building, was greeted by smell of fresh wort. What a delicious smell! The brewer was removing spent grains at this time too. The selection of beers looked equally amazing, but I didn't partake. The food though, was amazing and prices were reasonable. Had the burger with pulled pork and some type of special chase, very very tasty. The burger was hand formed and had pulled pork put on top along with the cheese. The flavor was out of this world and very very tasty. The potato chips that had for a side made the meal kind of blech, so get something else. The burger was truly awesome! First night in Bradenton for the winter and this was our first stop. We are eager to check out the local craft scene and ended up at 3 keys first. The beer was excellent they have a great variety and many options. They do flights. They also have a large food menu that has been revamped since the new owner took over. We tried the gigantic pub pretzel and a pepperoni pizza. Both were delicious. Our favorite beer was the "pizza dreams" a pale ale. We are typically IPA fans and really liked the pizza dreams. We loved the music, set up and style, and the friendly staff. All things that you look for when you go to a chill brewery. They also have games, corn hole, and giant Jenga. We've tried 3 Keys two times and both times was horrible. Service was super slow and food was so bad even after they tried to make it right we couldn't eat it. The tacos had so much water coming out of them they were soggy and the burger was way overdone just on the first visit. Second time around was no better. Won't be going back there. The place looks like it has a good crowd primarily because of it's different flavored beers (No Budweiser, Miller, Corona etc.). Great place! Laid back, great vibe and awesome brews. Upon taking a seat at the bar, it did take a while for us to be served. First, let me say that I struggled with settling on a rating. In some respects, I the 3 Keys deserves a 4 star rating. Located on the east side of Manatee, 3 Keys has a Florida Key vibe. The building is rustic and has a large screened in porch used for dining, as well as seating inside. A long bar dominates the interior. To the left are brewery tanks and to the right an area with lounge type seating. My wife and I were with friends and we looking for a place to have an early dinner. The 3 Keys was near our location and the Yelp reviews were promising. We were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. The beer menu has many interesting varieties of choices. I order a brown ale and a chicken parm sandwich. The beer was excellent. The service was excellent as well. Where it fell short for me, was the sandwich. The bread and the sauce was good, as was the cheese. However, the chicken came in the form of small, fried chicken fingers, which were over cooked and chewy. Despite this, I am eager to give 3 Keys another try. In fact, if we lived closer, I could see the 3 Keys being a regular place for us. read more

Fantastic local brewery on the outskirts of Bradenton. Great selection of beers spanning everything you'd expect for a brewery to have, the double IPA was probably my favorite out of those that I tried. The food menu is a little on the basic side, but had enough that kept me happy. When I was there they had a two tacos and two beers special which super cheap. (No sides with the tacos, so order something extra if you're really hungry). The bartender and staff were very friendly, and the owner made it a point to say hello to everyone he could, especially his fellow veterans. I do think there is probably more they could do with the interior of the brewery, the decor, especially the dropped ceilings, seemed a little mismatched to what I was expecting, but I suspect this place is till trying to find their groove, and I look forward to trying them again next time I'm in town. read more

The burgers are quite good & cooked as you ask. Beer list is extensive. The wait staff actually makes an effort to tell you about the place such as all the mugs on the walls, who makes them & who uses them. Music on the weekends. Other activities such as general trivia posted up on an easy to read board. Now. To my rating of 4 stars ... quite frankly, I want this place o stay 4 stars cuz 5 stars would just be too stuffy for this great little bar & grill. Bottom line ... go! Have a good time read more

Brewery in Bradenton with their own food and kitchen, always a plus for a brewery! Wednesday is Taco night and they have a great deal, 2 tacos and a beer for $10. This is a very busy night. They have several bartenders but still had to wait a bit to place my order sitting at the bar because the people sitting in the tasting room also order from the bar. It seems very much like a locals brewery. A lot of people knew the bartenders and vice versa which is a nice feature. I had an ipa and 2 pulled pork tacos. The tacos were very good, the beer was pretty good, a little light for me, I like my ipa bold and with intense hoppy flavor. They do have almost 20 of their own beers on tap in many different styles which I give them credit for. They have a large tasting room inside with a long bar in the middle and a nice sized outdoor patio. They have a large parking lot out front. Wednesday is a good day to go for their beer and taco deal but you may have to wait a little to place your order. For my meal I had the BLTW- that is the bacon lettuce and tomato on a waffle with a side of Bow tie pasta with butter. No fries on the menu here folks! And that was fine with me because the waffle was quite enough carbs for me. When the plate came to the table I could smell the slight sweetness of the waffle mixed with the bacon goodness. No skinny pieces of bacon on this sandwich! Beautiful perfectly cooked meaty thick cut bacon on this delectable sandwich. To taste is to shoot off to food heaven! I took half my sandwich home because it was very filling. My husband had the pulled pork on waffle which he said was delicious and filling. When we were checking out I had a sample of the salted caramel stout and that was so delicious. Smelled so sweet and had a coffee finish. This place is dog friendly on the porch. (I dont drink beer and dont like drinking out of glasses) 2) We ordered a burger for him and an app for me for dinner, she brought my app out first and it got cold waiting for his burger. 3) said it has parm cheese, well 1 out of 13 halves of Brussel sprouts had parmesan cheese on it! I tried out this place randomly with a group of friends and we arrived right in time for their Monday happy hour specials. The happy hour special was $4 beers, and $5 nachos. I tried the man-go cider and it tasted alright. I felt like it was watered down. The bartender was great though! She was very sweet and gave me a good recommendations. Along with the cider I ordered the waffle grilled cheese sandwich with a side of Alfredo pasta. The sandwich had cheddar cheese and tomato slices, and the crust on the waffle was crispy. My friends got the guac burger and they where underwhelmed. My friend did like their beer though, it was some sort of stout. What a difference a year makes. In my review last year, I couldn't say enough good things about 3 Keys. We were here 3/14/20 and I am struggling to find ANY good things to say. The beer was so flat that we had to send it back and the bartender acted putout about it. He tasted the beer and then grumbled, "I hate IPAs anyway." The next beer wasn't much better. We'd planned to stay to try the new menu, but decided to leave and go some place where the vibe is positive, the IPA tastes like an IPA, the staff is friendlier and the service is better.
