Best part of the experience was the maple bacon crumbles on our pizza. My burger (Bradentucky Burger) was ordered well done (no pink)...I got charcoal! See picture! Hey I like well done not burnt! The beer I ordered, Pilsner, had a funky smoke flavor as did the IPA my partner got. There is no wait staff, so you have to go to the bar to put in your order. Had previously enjoyed this place and the service and food. Things are changing, menu going seasonal (which is fine) but when questions asked to waitress she reported to kitchen. We did not ask for anything to be changed or fixed. Manager Brad came out- very Rude and curt, said "this is how we work, you don't like it you can go somewhere else." He just lost the restaurant some consistent business and we were told Owner "not available" after they checked with him. To the Owner Gabriel, the issue was not adapting to change and we did not ask for anything after team member declined item and informed us it was only served at dinner now. She went to kitchen staff, even though we asked her not to Our issue was the way we were approached and spoken To by Brad, apparently you listened to him rather than hearing fro us what occurred. Cool brewery with really great food! IPA's are decent - that's a least my "go-to" beer and I struggled to find one that I super enjoyed. What a life saver this place was!! Being unfamiliar with the area as we were staying at a relative's condo for the weekend, we had no clue where the good eats were. Of course I got on Yelp and found this place. A few friends and I were starving at 10:30 at night and didn't have many options for food at that time. I called ahead to be sure they were still serving food, which they were so we made a B-line for this place. There's nothing worse than a group of hangry girls, take my word for it!! This place is a "no table service" type brewery and eatery so you have to go to the bar to put in your drink and food orders. As we were about to order the lady behind the bar mentioned that they wouldn't be cooking certain items since it was getting later which is fine by me but I wish they would've mentioned that on the phone. We were basically limited to appetizers, salads and pizza I believe. We worked with our options and ended up ordering the "pint of tendies" ($8), spinach artichoke dip with chips and veggies... they were out of the veggies ($7), a side of grilled veggies ($2), side of green beans ($2), and cup of salad ($2). I must say the price point is very hard to beat! The sides were very cheap and were good sized portions! We basically made a meal out of a few sides and didn't leave hungry. The vegetables and salad tasted very fresh. The veggies were sautéed in butter and the green beans had garlic on them I believe. All very good side dishes. The pint of tendies were cooked just right and not too heavily breaded which is a plus for me. The only thing I didn't really care for was the spinach dip. It had an odd spicy flavor to it that I would not expect for a spinach dip. I believe it would've been better with the raw veggies than the salty tortilla chips. I loved the serving dishes the food came out on. They were very dainty and cute and all different. I thought that was a cool personal touch to 3 Keys. What a great brewery! A small group of us came in on a Wednesday and we greeted by friendly staff and a welcoming environment. The place is clean and they serve food as well; typical bar fare. Called the week before Superbowl to be sure we could put an order in for wings on Superbowl Sunday. I was told we could just call on Superbowl Sunday no problem. Just called and was told they closed at 4:00 for Superbowl Sunday. Spoke with the manager and he was of no help. He claims there was a post put out 2 weeks ago to all of his employees that they would be shutting down early. Apparently the employees do not pay very close attention to their posts. And also why not put a post on their website so customers could be prepared. Now at 5:00 on Superbowl Sunday and people at my house I have to go to the store and hope I can get something to feed people. I spoke so highly about 3 Keys but now they not only lost my business but everyone at my house couldn't believe what happened and said they would not go there due to this. I've tried Motorworks and Corporate Ladder, who both have only food trucks. 3Keys has a full menu with awesome food, and lots of great beers to choose from. My favorite beers so far are the 41 Red, Billy Fred IPA, and Brown Noser English brown ale. 3 Keys is family owned and family friendly. Met the owners, and was impressed. Also, happy to say they are proud veterans with our Flag in their blood. Though I'm a Keto girl, I was very happy with the variety on the menu. Started with The Soup- and now I'm addicted. You'll see why after your first bite. Creamy buffalo style shredded chicken and fresh cut carrots and veggies with just enough tang to make you take that second bite. Then I got the Bradentucky Burger sans bun. Deliciously fresh and flavorful, just wish I had more room in my tummy. Sweetie enjoyed the chicken tacos as well. Wow! This brewery understands not only how to make great food but also how to treat their customers. We visited on a SLAMMED Friday night and they told us straight up how long we were going to wait for food. They also made us aware of why they were slammed and apologized for the wait. Then because we had to wait, they brought a dessert to the table. Funny thing is, we didn't mind the wait at all. Trying out 3 Keys for the first time tonight. Bartender was helpful in setting me up with a flight after bringing 2 samples. Asked for pizza (shown on the website and listed outside as Pizza of the Week) but was told not available - so went with the mushroom burger and string beans on the side. 5 glass-flight was fun and tasted great. Burger was equally good although bun started falling apart at the half way point. Green beans a definite winner. Food service took too long (maybe 15 minutes after ordering). Asked the guy delivering the burger for ketchup and he said "over there" pointing to another table - but the EXTREMELY kind woman who kept checking on me and her smile eased the wait - despite her being very busy. It was explained to me there were many tickets being handled. (Highly recommend another server being brought in to avoid these long waits). This happened to be "Friends Trivia" night. Some sound difficulties when things first got rolling - (sound could be heard but not outside at the picnic tables) but after things got going the issues got taken care of. The crowd was sedate and having fun among themselves so nobody had much to complain about. Kids seemed occupied with their Ipads. Parking was full in the front - but lots of open spaces in the back. Nice to sit outside on "the porch" a balmy Bradenton evening and enjoy the sound of the water taps you will see when you pull up. All in all a 7.5. Will return. read more
