Managed to get there on a good day, easy parking. it's a small shopping center, y'know? Walking in, it literally was wall-to-wall vintage collectibles. Many still in their packages. Walking through it all brought a sense of nostalgia, but at the same time I felt a dull pain--in my wallet. Whatever your focus is, collecting can be expensive and time consuming. Star Wars, Barbie, He-Man, Star Trek (to a lesser extent)...DC/Marvel superheroes. Collectible toy cars (Hot wheels, etc.). There's a lot to look at. Some in their own package, some bagged specifically for the store. 85% of what's there are action figures and such. The rest is a mix of collectible comics, toy cars, and other odd bits. I'd say the prices are reasonable, though a handful of the limited edition collectibles (such as a Sideshow figure of Ghost Rider on his flaming bike) had prices which gave heart palpitations. Era-wise, I'd say the vast majority of toys there are mid-70's on. So there are toys related to "The Six Million Dollar Man", as an example. There were some older 50's era pieces as well. And, like i said, some comics. If I had more time to look I would've stayed longer, but time's the one thing I didn't have. Speaking of which, they were out of the one thing I was looking for. Not a problem, though. If it's not there I won't be tempted to buy it. One more thing: They opened up a 'dollar store' version of the shop a few doors down. It has what you'd expect to find there.

The stock is usually well stocked and is updated often. Shelves are usually neat and aisles are clear. You can find great deals during off seasons. For example, you can find great deals on grills and outdoor chairs during the colder months. Employees are always friendly. Prices are amazingly cheap. Come with a budget because you can easily fill up your cart with great finds lol! I came in here just to browse, kind of look around to see what was available to take notes on. It would have been stupid of me to not purchase them now since I was already here. I had been looking for a cheap hand mirror and wasn't willing to pay the prices I have seen elsewhere. I didn't even consider Five Below as a place to look for this. Like I said, I wasn't intending on purchasing items here, but alas, I did. The one huge thing I do not enjoy about Five Below is that the items I seem to purchase I have to go and run and purchase another one mere months later.

I was able to find a Jasmine and Genie from Dinsey's Aladdin here which was pretty cool. They have a great candy selection and tons of candies you cannot find anywhere else. Another item that I often will buy at 5 below is their incense. The self-checkout is super nice. The only thing is that they have a section in the back that has items over $5. Why call your store 5 below? Some of their items that are priced at $5 would make sense to be priced more at $3 like a small toy car for instance. It seems they default to having the item $5 even when it should be less. The squishmellows that I mentioned earlier were 5.95 instead of just $5 as an example of things not being $5. The pricing was not labeled at all.

This large store is filled with antique tables and chairs, inviting you to sit down and play one of their hundreds of testable board games. An upstairs area with an even grander table is ideal for hosting D&D sessions. Any time you come to Omnihedral, expect to hear the sounds of rolling dice and cheering players. Omnihedral's large walls are littered with every board game under the sun, including rarer kickstarter games that might not even be available for public commercial purchase. They sell games and accessories, plushies and wearables, little gifts and large pieces of decoration you can take home. They also sell a variety of 3D printed goods. Last year, I purchased a christmas tree ornament of a mimic that I still cherish. If you're looking for something interesting and rare, ask one of the employees and they'll point you to something unique, like a christmas tree dice holder that doubles as a dice tower. Prices are higher than what you'd expect at a brand store such as Walmart or Target, but you get so much more variety to choose from with games and other items you cannot find anywhere else. Our movie festival attendees were thrilled with the video game truck and foam party. The attendants supplied by GameTruck managed everything, from the lines to play video games in the truck, to making sure every last child was safe and enjoying the foam party.
