Fifteen years of painful buyers remorse from poor customer service; misleading "lifetime" warranty with pushback on complaints when initial installation was completed; "third party" installers; poor design and engineering held together with cheap hardware that frays and wears with little use. Selected products shown during consultation did not match products that arrived, like the cords used to pull the shade were supposed to be a chain mechanism smoother and easier to use while being more aesthetically pleasing. Even though that was a huge selling point that I made clear when choosing that model, the company dismissed concern because the rep used a different version for demo purposes only. It has been a long time of frustration operating this shades and blinds, parts falling off, cords breaking ... I've been a customer for 9 years. After the first install, my feax wood blinds warped the first month. I was like ughhh no. I don't want these. I told 3 Day Blinds that it was going to happen to all of them. They assured me it wouldn't and that there was a lifetime warranty. That this never happens. Well here i am. This happened at 5 years and again now on a different window. I opened a case with 3 Day Blinds. Even though they have record of me complaining that it would happen again, they denied my case. They will not replace. Why would they sell blinds that can't stand up to 100 degree AZ heat? They even told me they can't take direct heat. I did not understand that the rep was commissioned sales person and not an employee of the company. She was extremely knowledgable but what I envisioned paying $500 or less for was quoted first at $2,000 and then decreased to $1,500 when I picked less expensive products. Once she started using sales techniques to get me to 'buy today' I was done. She was professional but I was married once to a sales person and those techniques just turn me off. I live in tucson az and my experience was very bad.the lady they sent out got the size incorrect and to much light comes in through the sides and top .very unsatisfied with my purchase and will never deal with this company again. We had blinds installed back in October, 2021 and today 6/30/22 still waiting on one to be installed. We keep calling them they keep sending installers out with the wrong item. We need an ARCH above one of our windows and the original person measured wrong. I have called and tried to get the ARCH they keep sending a shelf, which is not what is wrong. They never ever call back as they say they will. I have to call them and they promise they will work on this get the right thing ordered and I never hear from them. CRICKETS I have to call them. I bought three sets of drapes and one blinds set at the beginning of March 2021. As per their contract they were paid in full when the items arrived (prior to installation). It is now Nov 11, 2021 and the drapes are still not up. All drapes and rods were measured incorrectly. Subsequent rods were either the wrong size, parts to "fix" them delayed, missing or incorrectly made. All rods squeak loudly. The installers have been out to the house 9 or 10 times and cost me thousands of dollars and countless wasted hours of my time. If you're looking for window treatments use anyone else! Their sales/estimator didn't know that their folding louvered blinds had to have a header which screwed up the price & caused me to doubt my selection of companies. Took forever to get as they are ordered from China!! They look great and function fine. Installer knocked a piece of wood off the frame & promises to glue it back in place have not happened. Vertical blinds install for 2 windows had to have a service call to get track working smoothly. They were good in the beginning but they manufactured our blinds incorrectly. They are very slow on correcting or remaking the blinds, taken like a month. They have also been bad on rescheduling the installation the second time. The person who did the selling and wrote the order was excellent, what a shame that the rest of their service is poor. read more

We ordered Roman shades, roller shades and custom shutters for our home. The Roman shades and roller shades arrived and were installed in 3 days as promised. However, upon inspection, one of our roller shades was incorrectly fabricated with the wrong fabric. From there, everything went downhill. Their scheduling service was the most incompetent group of people I have ever had the privilege of working with. 3 weeks later and my replacement roller shade has still not been installed. Note - it takes 6-8 weeks for custom wood shutters. Those have not been installed in the home yet. I would not order from this company again. We purchased an Amazon Local deal for $99 for $300 worth of window treatments. The rep who gave us the estimate, Presley, was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. That's about the only good thing I have to say. We were shorted a blind, we did not get what we ordered (were told the valances were going to be recessed, and they are not), and the installer stole the wooden shelving I had installed above my previous treatments. He told me that he would have to take them down to fit the new blinds in, and I said OK, then I heard him talking on his phone asking his "bro" if he wanted wooden "valances." They were not valances, they were custom made wooden shelving by my carpenter friend that the installer took with him without asking or clarifying. Bottom line: we didn't get what we thought he were ordering, and we were shorted one set of blinds, and my property was taken. If I could have selected zero stars, I would have. If you are considering 3 Day Blinds, PLEASE look elsewhere. This will be long, but worth your time if you are remotely considering their services. Their customer service, if you can call it that -- is nonexistent. Glenn, their "professional" expert came to our home the first week of June, for an in-home consultation. We shared that we wanted vertical blinds because we live in an agricultural area and standard blinds collect too much debris and cause health issues. Glenn also suggested the S-shape blinds for the master to provide a "black-out" effect. You will laugh when you see the results of that. Blinds were delivered and installed by one of their "professional installers," who was 3 hours late. After installation we noticed the gaps and slants to a couple of the blinds and the installer told us that we were sold an incorrect product. I called and expressed my concerns and they scheduled an independent contractor to come and make observations and recommendations. This contractor told us our windowsills were crooked, yet he failed to use a level to make these observations. I was assigned a caseworker by the name of Laura S. on June 29th, we spoke once with the assurance they would correct the issues and after that phone call, I never heard from her again. On July 20th, I called and expressed my concerns and was told that a member of their management team would get right back to me. No one ever did. I called and spoke to several CSR's and asked them to escalate the call, because I would like them to come pick up their product and issue a refund. This resulted in an email from Robert Perez, who told me that he would be taking over my case and would be in touch. After two weeks of phone calls and emails that went unanswered, I finally received a voice message indicating that they would not be able to issue a refund because our windowsills were crooked and we were sold a 3" blind when our window depths are 2 1/4". They made it appear as though we had placed the order, and did the measuring, their professional did. That is an error on their part. I was offered a partial refund on two of the 7 custom blinds we purchased. When I finally did get a hold of Robert, I explained that we told Glenn we were not looking for traditional blinds because we are in an agricultural area and that we feel that we are being punished for their mishaps. He appeared very concerns and said, "Now that I understand that you were only looking for vertical blinds and live in an agricultural area, that makes sense. I did not have this information before and now that I do I will take it to my management team for a full refund." This was on August 19, 2019. I waited 2 weeks and when I did not receive a response, I called and left several message for Robert and sent him emails. He finally responded via email on September 11, 2019, which he indicated that he has submitted by request (3 weeks later!!). I did not hear from Robert again until I again sent another email on September 30, 2019, in which I received a response on October 8th. This email did not correctly reference the previous conversations and request, but indicated that we purchase the wrong size product and that the gaps allow for a tolerant level of "security" and that we need to explore a product that will fit better and that they cannot provide a refund. 3 Day Blinds should stand behind their product and services provided. We did not measure, nor know that we were sold an incorrect product until after the product was installed, and when we expressed our concerns, they fail to acknowledge their errors and have put my family, with two young children at a security risk. Please read other reviews, especially with the BBB that indicate almost the exact same issues listed above. I wish I had because I would not have spend 3 thousand dollars on a subpar product that allows peeping-Toms an easy target. read more

3 Day Blinds sends a sales person to your home, then ghosts you if you have problems. Their company operates out of Irvine California. Dispite getting correct information on sizes and styles of blinds, they can't get orders in correctly. I'm awaiting my 5th install (they never showed up for the third). They messed up my blind order three times. I've spent at least 5 hours on the phone trying to get the blinds I paid for (in advance, they insist). Have no faith in their promises. They should be called 2 month blinds. The installers give you a 4 hour window to see if they show up. They don't return phone calls. Go with a local company. I will, next time. read more

This company was great in 1996 and 2004 when we had shutters installed on our house. Trying to get service now in 2018 to repair a shutter took four phone calls and I have to wait two weeks. Meanwhile, I cannot get out on my balcony. You better learn how to do repairs on your own. read more

We had 3 day blinds come out on give us some quotes on curtains, and their prices were exorbitant. They wanted close to 10 TIMES what I had priced out for curtains and rods for our windows. That's right...take the price you think is reasonable based on your own research and add a zero to the end of it (for example, a window that I would have expected to cost $300 was priced out at $3,000 by 3 Day Blinds, and we have 5 large windows to cover!). I expected them to come in at maybe (and I mean maybe) 2 times more, if that, to account for labor, etc. I called the guy out on the prices, and he tried to come up with some b.s. story about how theirs have extra high thread counts, etc. Hmm, I don't plan on sleeping on my curtains, so it's not a big deal I again priced out curtains and rods after turning this guy away and was able to get everything I needed for less than 1/10th of the price from a name-brand online retailer selling name-brand items. It's very obvious that this company is way over priced, as only a couple of days after turning them away, they sent us a 50% off coupon. That shows their profit margins are ridiculous. He kept telling me, "I'm sorry to burst your bubble." Actually, I'm sorry to burst yours. Rather than pay your company $15,000, I just installed rods and very nice curtains throughout my house for less than $1,000. read more
