What a wonderful experience with wonderful, professional people…read more We remodeled our kitchen at end of May. Arizona Cabinetry was the 3rd company we price and talked to. This is the best company to have your kitchen remodel by. They have quality cabinets, hardware, and countertops, with reasonable prices and a great crew of workers. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants their kitchen done right.. I so appreciated that Dan listen to what I wanted to have done in my kitchen and he made it happen at a reasonable price and quality materials. He saw my vision and made great suggestions but never pushed something I didn't want. There were time as the progress was going that I was in tears of joy with how it was coming together. I was so happy with the look, the people and job they were doing. Richard, Cesar, Raul and Martin installed the cabinets quickly and very effectively, even with a minor change that I asked them to do. They quickly did the change without making me feel I was wrong in asking. Great group of fellows that work so well together to get it accomplished. First tears of joy for how beautiful the cabinets were and looked. Miguel, Max, Jose and Victor were the crew that installed my granite countertops. I sort of made it a challenge for them asking that the largest counter not have a seam in it, but be a completely one piece. They did it so nicely. As they installed, the second tears happen for how beautiful it looked. Melissa took all my phone calls and answered all my questions I had, never me feel that any of them were trivial. I loved working with her, so easy to get along with. Only have one before picture. But what a change!

A Word of Caution Regarding Unprofessional Service…read more I had hoped to have some additional cabinets installed in my home, so I reached out to the company that had previously completed work for me and scheduled an appointment for measurements. Unfortunately, no one showed up for the first appointment. When I contacted the company, I was told the appointment had been canceled, yet I had received no notification whatsoever. I decided to reschedule and give them another opportunity. Unfortunately, the same situation occurred. When I reached out again, I was told the person was caught in traffic and would arrive in a few minutes. After waiting an entire hour, no one had arrived, and no one had called with an update. I find this level of communication and professionalism disappointing, especially from a company I had trusted to work in my home previously. Respecting a customer's time and communicating schedule changes are basic expectations of good business practice. I am sharing my experience as a caution to others who may be considering this company. Promises mean very little without follow-through. Based on my experience, their service has fallen far short of the professionalism and reliability I would expect.

She encouraged us to spend extra money on a new locally made metal door, and to forego other changes we were considering that (I now realize) would have been a waste of money. Kathryn was always available, and saw the work through from design to fabrication to installation. The contractors she introduced to complete the project were also a pleasure to work with. Our experience with Kathryn Pirdeux was absolutely unacceptable and, frankly, one of the worst…read moreexperiences we have had with any professional involved in our home project. I would strongly caution anyone considering hiring her to think very carefully before paying her any money. The entire process dragged on endlessly. It took an unreasonable amount of time just to receive the landscape design, and throughout that process there was virtually no meaningful discussion with us about what we wanted, how the design was evolving, or whether it actually reflected our vision for the property. When the design was finally delivered, after all that time and expense, we found the overall quality to be substandard and nowhere close to what we expected from someone presenting herself as a professional landscape designer. What was especially frustrating was the constant focus on billing. It felt as though every conversation, every minute, and every interaction meant another charge. We were paying and paying while seeing very little meaningful progress or value in return. In our experience, collecting fees seemed to be handled with far more urgency than actually delivering a thoughtful, high-quality landscape design. Even worse, after taking our money, we were essentially left high and dry. There was no proper collaborative review of the final landscape plan with us and, to our knowledge, no submission of the landscape plans to the HOA. We were left wondering exactly what we had paid all this money for. This is not remotely the level of professionalism we expected for a custom home project. A professional designer should listen to the client, communicate, collaborate, provide timely work, produce a design commensurate with the fees being charged, and follow the project through. Our experience with Kathryn was the opposite: excessive delays, poor communication, constant billing, a disappointing design, and ultimately no satisfactory completion of the work. The most upsetting part is that we trusted her with an important and expensive part of our home and paid her expecting professional service. Instead, we were left with an enormous sense that we had spent a significant amount of money and received remarkably little in return. I would absolutely not hire Kathryn Pirdeux again, and I cannot recommend her based on our experience. Anyone considering working with her should insist on a detailed written scope, specific deliverables, firm deadlines, a clear limit on billable time, responsibility for HOA submissions, and defined payment milestones before paying anything. Our biggest regret is that we did not walk away sooner.
