Look elsewhere if you're considering this company for cabinets. If you want a completed kitchen…read moreproject in less than 8 months, this isn't the place for you. If you're expecting dedicated staff who pay attention to detail, you won't find it here. If you're looking for a company that prioritizes your best interests, I'd advise moving on. The idea that a small kitchen should be measured properly and completed within a reasonable timeframe is simply not part of their approach. If you want your kitchen to be the heart of your home without exceeding timelines and budgets, avoid this business. The prices are some of the most inflated prices in the local area - You can find better prices, business ethics, and much more competent employees with other companies in Tucson. Over the course of 8 months, there were constant staff changes--people were fired, reassigned, many people quit and the new hire PM was completely unprepared and had zero clue what she was talking about. So my designer got fired, I went through 2 different construction managers, four installers and the incompetent PM. While the owner himself handled a portion of the cabinet installation and was detailed in his work, that's where the positives ended. To make matters worse, I was required to pay 90% of the cabinet price three months before they even began making the necessary repairs and replacements. After the holidays I was contacted to pay the remaining 10% because they are in need of money for the business and I told them that I wasn't going to pay until the job was 100% complete. Also on the website it states "in business for 22 years." This is very misleading because the owner has only had the company for 3 years with only the name of the company being around for 22 years. Who does business like that? This company--Southwest Kitchen & Bath-- Is going to go out of business soon, and this business is one to avoid!!

We bought a house with a kitchen clearly done in two stages, one side of the kitchen was dates, but…read moregood quality cabinets. The other side was incredibly cheap. The bottom of the drawer was bowing when I put silverware in the drawer, and had features, such as a large wine rack that we didn't need. We were looking for someplace that could reface part of the kitchen, and completely demo and rework the other side. We had a wonderful experience with Southwest Kitchen & Bath. Our sales person Lisa was wonderful to work with, triple confirming all the measurements so everything came in right the first time. Since everything had to be made custom, the total project was about 12 weeks, but the stages were clearly communicated up front, and we didn't have to clear out of the kitchen until after the new cabinets arrived, so the down time really wasn't too bad. We requested a few changes mid project, such as under cabinet lighting. Lisa and our project coordinator Katy were very helpful with suggesting what they could offer, but also options we could do ourselves if we wanted to go that route. We felt supported, not pressured, into changes that in the end we really love. Attaching a few in-progess photos, I'll try to update with some finished project photos later.

I reluctantly started a kitchen remodel because it felt so overwhelming on where to start, but I…read moredid so because my wife had been asking me for a new kitchen for a couple of years now. From the first conversation with Rick Chao about my budget, my concerns and my wife's wish list, I felt more at ease. Rick went over our options with us, the various features and quality and helped my wife and I agree on a kitchen that we would both be happy with. I really appreciated the level of professionalism that Rick brought to the table, there were no surprise cost, the installation was impeccable and even though the install was completed 1 day late, Rick was proactive and contacted me prior to the deadline to let me know there was an issue with a delivery hence the delay. Rick is going to be my go-to cabinet guy for Arizona!

Right Choice was recommended by my builder. Unbeknown to me as to why, besides prior experience…read more Now granted, Rick Chao himself, installed my cabinets and for the majority of the work he addressed most of my concerns. However, I wish he would have designed our cabinets. Upon taking delivery and initial install, the builder specifically spelled out on the floor the appropriate dimensions for the bathroom vanities and ended up being oversized and had to remove and receive some sort of credit (still wondering how my handles supposedly offset that), but my primary gripe with this whole endeavor is that I feel my cabinets were unfinished. Excuse I received was that the proposal they put together was for a 2cm countertop (which they did not receive the bid) and I ended up going with a 3 cm countertop and they said that because the cabinets were designed with a 2 cm that the plywood ended up not being finished due to raising the countertop. Now, in my entire experience of constructing a new home; it is evident to me that there is no accountability for any of the subcontractors I've dealt with. Hence, I'm struggling to recommend these folks yet I'll still give them a decent review because they appropriately know how to charge and not back up the 'white glove' delivery per their bid. Rick is an awesome guy; but felt like he was trying to convince me to not patch the exposed OSB to not make it look like it was a cabinet issue but more of a countertop issue. So buyer beware of their lack of accountability. It was proposed that I should quote a stainless steel finish to make it look the countertop guys screwed up.

I like to wait a couple of months before writing a review of handyman work in case there are issues…read morethat need to be resolved. In Donald's case, there are none. This guy is like no other and is the best. 1. He showed up EARLY, not just on time. 2. He brought US donuts. 3. He was so well organized and kept everything clean and tidy. Donald and his crew have an organized system of doing things and it was remarkable seeing how well they worked together. 4. He was incredibly polite to me, my wife, and my children. 5. The quality of his work was excellent. We had Donald and his crew come and install Kitchen Cabinets we purchased from Window Depot. Donald showed up on the agreed date and installed in a single day. We have an old house(built in 1954) with uneven floors, walls, and ceilings. Donald was able to make everything look level and plumb. There were small details he got to look very good. For example my ceiling slopes. Donald matched the slope of the ceiling when installing crown molding. It is a simple thing, but most would just leave the cabinet top open I think. I have had MULTIPLE people point out that detail and remark how cool it was he did that. I totally recommend both Donald for your cabinet installing needs.

However, after living in Tucson for 2.5 Yrs now, I felt I had to warn potential clients of what I am finding not only with Valle, but unprofessional contractors and Vendors that do not want to work or care about it. So, not only with Courtney Cabinets, but I will also be yelping about many of the other companies I have found on YELP. These companies show 5 stars but do not seem to offer the service or return calls. So, not only with Courtney Cabinets, but I will also be yelping about many of the other companies I have found on YELP. I have interviewed over 10 cabinet companies with no reply, just promises, then I never hear from them. Same with plumbers, drywallers, stucco companies etc. It is just mind boggling and I hear it is an issue here in Tucson. When I reached out to Courtney Cabinets via phone calls and followed up with additional phone calls no response. I wanted to let others know the lack of their professionalism and say, "Stay Away From Courtney". I have a three-time rule now, you ignore me then I am moving on as it is obvious you do not need business or a job. At least let a potential client know upfront, you are either too busy or not interested then provide excuses and lies you cannot meet up too. When I had my showroom in CA, customer service was performed to all our clients, hence why were slammed due to our response. Never EVER leave a client or potential client hanging. It is rude, disrespectful, and extremely unprofessional. I told my employees ALWAYS return a call and never lie to the clients. It is harder to remember lies than the truth. Sadly, this new generation does not understand this concept, customer service skills or professionalism. Hell, they do not even know how to sign their name in cursive.
