We had Closet Trends install a Murphy Bed in our home in Nov 2015. The latch holding the folding table was weak and the table would crash down and hit the floor every time we opened the bed. This eventually ripped out the hinge holding the table in place. I called the company for a repair. In Dec 2025 a team came out twice and replaced the hinge as well as installed new and far more robust locks to keep the table from separating from the bed frame. THERE WAS NO CHARGE FOR THIS SERVICE AND I WAS INFORMED THIS WAS WARRANTY WORK. TEN YEARS AFTER THE INITIAL INSTALL!!!! Great customer service. read more

Just had several garage cabinets installed by Closet Trends and I couldn't be happier with the end result! Not only do they look fantastic, they beat the price of another major competitor by several hundred dollars. Staff member Cynthia, who did the overall design, was professional, thorough, a great communicator and delivered on everything promised. The staff who did the installation were also knowledgeable and did a great job of the actual install and also did a great clean-up afterwards. The cabinets are lovely, sturdy, and also accommodate electrical outlets so they can still be used. I was very hopeful at the start of my project which included cabinets and countertops for my newly renovated laundry room. After Closet Trends came to my home and measured three times and I visited their showroom to look at the materials to be used and choosing the hardware and countertop material, I signed the contract in November 2020. I paid half and was told the project would not be completed until the end of February 2021. I was OK with that under the current conditions. When they arrived to begin what was to be a two day installation, the cabinets were installed on day one. After the cabinets were in, it was realized that the measurements had been incorrect and I could not lower the attic ladder. On day two, they reconfigured the cabinets but now the countertops were not right. The predrilled holes for the hinges on the cabinets with pull out drawers would not allow the drawers to slide properly so new doors would have to be made. They also had predrilled the holes for all the handles and, though about half the handles I had chosen were supposed to be about an inch shorter than the rest, the holes were already drilled, so they would have to order more of the longer handles. Not the look I was going for. At the end of day two, they left and said they'd return with the new countertops, the doors with holes drilled correctly for the hinges, and the remaining handles (which weren't even the ones I wanted). I assumed they'd put a bit of a rush on this as I had waited so long already and the mistakes had been Closet Trends fault. I waited and I waited and no word from the company. When I questioned the long delay, there was always some excuse. Here again, not my fault. Eventually, I received an email stating that the work would be completed on May 28th. That would end up making this a six month project. Beware. The countertops look good though the pieces do not meet up right in the corner. Because of the inconvenience and long delay, I requested some sort of a discount on the balance due. They gave me a discount - $187. I would give them less than two stars except that all the people I dealt with in person were nice and seemed professional and the finished project looks pretty good. I'm just glad it's over. read more

The saying, "The customer is always right" is not followed at Closet Trends. I spent over 25 thousand dollars on closets and office furniture from Closet Trends, but my office is unusable because the four file cabinet drawers that they made for me will not fit legal files. The legal racks I purchased to hold the files properly will not fit inside the drawers!! I had two representatives come to my home and they immediately saw the problem and told me that they would take care of it. Two days later I received a bill for over $1600, and when I contacted the owner, he told me that the files were made as in the blueprints. I wrote back stating that I assumed that Closet Trends would know the dimensions of a legal file and so I did not check the prints. The designer of the desks, Patsy Ortega, is a very nice person but did not know what dimensions to use in a legal file drawer. They were made 15 inches wide and needed to be at least 16 inches wide to work for legal files. I assumed that they would be designed correctly but you know what happens when you assume anything!! After some discussion with the owner, Joe Cutrone, we came to an understanding that the company would make me a new desk at a discounted rate of $965. When I contacted the company about moving the old desk that was paid for to my wife's art studio they told me I had negated the agreement. The company would not give me a reason why after many attempts to contact them. I would advise you to stay away from Closet Trends and go to California Closets, or IKEA, at least they seem to know how to make a legal file that works. read more

We had a small closet system installed in the mid 2000's. The job was done well and we were happy with the product and the workmanship. Recently one side of the unit started to pull away from from the wall causing the unit to slant down on one side. Once they confirmed that they had indeed installed it they responded pretty quickly to check it out. They were able to do a repair at no cost. They were fast and efficient and we are pretty happy with the results. Definitely a recommended company. read more

I have been to several of my friends' homes here in Saddlebrooke who have used Closet Trends and were also extremely happy with their work. We recently had our walk-in closet done by Closet Trends and Mary Ann was our designer. We were extremely pleased by her attention to detail. The closet is big enough for two people to actually get dressed in. We LOVE IT! The job was done on time and very well done. We are extremely satisfied. Please Note: This is not a review of any Closet Trends products; it is a review of their outstanding service. ============ After a local wall bed company (Off the Wall Beds -- see my review there) essentially pulled the plug on their promise to move my wall bed, which I had purchased from them (Off the Wall Beds), and who had cavalierly left us completely stranded and 'up against the wall' regarding our necessity to be out of our rental home by a specific date, Closet Trends stepped in and saved us, turning an unnecessary crisis into an incredibly enjoyable experience. I had called Closet Trends on a Thursday, explaining that the moving people from the company from whom we had purchased our wall bed had essentially stiffed us regarding their commitment to move the bed we had purchased from them and were paying them to have moved to our new home. Expressing both empathy and understanding, the staff and owners of Closet Trends immediately expedited a moving crew to help us out of our predicament. When their personable and friendly two man crew came over, they expertly removed the wall bed and had it installed in our new home within hours. On top of that, they even repaired a broken support underneath the bed at no charge; and on top of that, they (Closet Trends) even charged us less than we were going to be charged by 'Off the Wall' to move and install our wall bed. Even though Closet Trends had not sold us the bed we needed to move, they immediately offered their help, kept their appointment, kept their promise, and sent an excellent, friendly crew of knowledgeable professionals with a 'state of the art' equipment trailer, and expertly moved our old bed into our new home.
