The "art" was all over priced. A used trundle bed with chips and no mattress, $225. I could go on and on but this review is bumming me out. I guess some of these pieces are "worth" these prices somewhere but not at a store like this one. Also, the folks who work or volunteer there ignored our very friendly "Hello" and "good bye" and were more interested in their phones, shopping themselves or conversing with each other. Not one person asked if we could use some help even after I tried to get their attention. I have volunteered for Habitat for Humanity in years past and nothing about this place screams "we're here to help the community" On a better note, and I'm really digging here, they do have cheap paint. They also have lots of things for a house like toilets, headboards, lighting fixtures (if you're able to piece one together), conduit, tables, etc...... again I was very disappointed. I hope your experience is different but this is mine and I'm here with my truth. The two stars are for the fact that they're open 7 days a week, and that I find it very difficult to give 1 star because they DO have household things as advertised.

I described what I was doing and she gave me pricing options that were cheaper then other places in Tucson. I called Cathy and cleared up some questions and went with about 9 yards of their "Chat sand." I mentioned that I could pay cash to avoid credit card fees and she took more off the price. Since they are located near River Road and N Dodge they only change a small delivery fee unless you get about 10 yards of material. If not, they are only about $25 delivery. Their driver showed up right when I was told he would and he was very professional as well. They have all sorts of other landscaping materials, boulders, and rock at their lot. I was very happy with their prices, service, and scheduling. I saved a lot of money using them. I will DEFINITELY use them again!

It cut you off, hangs up on you transfers to the wrong department and does not listen to you. No one answers the phones anymore and it will ring and ring and then disconnect you. They used to have actual human beings that answered the phones would direct you to the right department and or even answer questions or look things up for you. No more! Those customer service days are over!very sad. As far as home warranties now, I would never recommend purchasing one because it's all AI now and you cannot speak with a human being anymore. We purchased a brand new refrigerator a year ago it died. We could not get service for a few weeks to get it repaired and had to buy another one and we could not get through to the warranty company and the manufacturer would not stand behind it so we've had to purchase another refrigerator nor Lowe's would stand behind it. So now we've paid for two refrigerators within a year and a half. We can't get credit on the extended warranty that we purchased that is now useless and that warranty would not even go into effect until June of this year for a five year extended warranty. So that was a waste of an extra $200 on an appliance that was not even two years old yet. All in all customer service is no more with Lowes!

This Tucson company--who apparently has had a new acquisition --seems really off on the wrong track. We needed standard wood Tongue & Groove siding for a re-model job, using it for the ceiling. We wanted to support this company instead of going to the typical Home Depot or Lowe's big box stores that often have inferior products. What a mistake! Arizona Building Supply sold us wrapped up bundles of the T&G without letting us inspect it. We hauled it home and began trying to install it. Most of it was warped and would NOT slide into the groove. And lots of it split as we tried to install it. The product was horrible garbage! And imagine being up on ladders fighting with this on a ceiling job!!! The job took about 3-4 times as long to complete as it should have, and it ONLY got completed after we fought with them about this lousy wood product and they would not take it back. But did bring us ONE new bundle and had to piece together sections we should not have had to do Actually, we would have been WAY better off buying this wood from a national store like HD or Lowe's because they would have let us return this product. Lesson learned here! I'm sorry I have to even settle for a one-star review. So much for supporting alternative companies. This purchase was made August 2024. Have they improved? I rather doubt it.
