From the moment we met her, we were amazed by a woman coming in and measuring about 20 windows with all different treatments from Plantation Shutters, to verticals and roll up shades. They lasted till recently when some slats in a window that had the verticals was subjected to much of the sun broke off from the track. Patrice came in once again measured for a new track and we'll be back in business again. She is really a very talented woman. You can order bedspreads, drapes, flooring, window treatments. She is prompt reliable and really knows this business like no one else. Love to see a dynamic lady doing this kind of work. She comes to your home with books and explanations for everything. I would include photos of that disaster here but your eyes would hurt. I immediately started contacting several designers. Most didn't return calls. A few said they were booked for at least a year. Helen was the only one who contacted me. I was lucky I did because this small kitchen, comprising a tiny kitchen and tinier laundry room would require Swiss Army knife precision to: - combine the kitchen and laundry room - give me more floor area - create a logical work space - add much more storage - adhere to my minimalist aesthetic. Helen wasn't scared away and her design nailed my bullet points in only a few sessions. I had no timeline for completion because I've managed construction projects in a past life. I wanted Helen and her construction team to take their time and deliver quality. As I expected, this old house presented several major challenges during the demo and build phases. All were addressed logically and successfully. The cabinet installation was a true jigsaw puzzle because the small space meant tolerances had to be exact. This was probably the toughest part of the total remodel and it was fascinating to watch it all get assembled. I'm very pleased with the results. The appliances are superb, the flow to do basic tasks in this new space is so natural and intuitive, and, I no longer have the ugliest kitchen in my neighborhood. It's a surprising show stopper when people visit: so much kitchen in such a small space. Having managed large projects, the key to success during the process is having patience and an understanding that mistakes happen. It made this complex remodel relatively pain free and the result was worth it!

Not only is her design great, but also her choices of furniture, colors, fabrics, and window treatments are outstanding. I have attached a photo of her Hunter Douglas window shades in our living room. She reduced the hot sun on our furniture and saved our grand piano yet let the light and outside come through. It took us 6 weeks to finally sign the contract and put down the $6000 deposit for our mater bathroom. During that time she has reconfigured the designs and charges 5 different ways. I will check in again, when the work is complete! So far, we are impressed. We think this design studio is about 1/3 more then putting the project together ourselves but we look forward to amazing results.

I am an older, single woman who wanted to get a couple of estimates for a modest remodel of the kitchen in my mother's home. Arizona Design was one of the companies that came out. Matt was very nice, informative, seemingly knowledgeable and promised an estimate soon. He understood I had a time frame for having the work done. After a couple of weeks, I left a voice message inquiring how the estimate was going; after three weeks I sent an e-mail and requested a reply....now it's a month and I have not heard a word. I find this totally unprofessional and irresponsible. Is it because it was a small job comparatively; is it because I am a woman and don't know very much about design or remodeling, is it because I told him I was on a budget???? I will never know. If he didn't want to or couldn't do this job, all he needed to do was say so. I would have moved on. In my older age, I want to speak up when there is an inequity, poor performance, lack of respect and people not doing their job. Would he like his wife or mother to get this type of treatment? My first impression of you was unfortunately wrong. I would be leery of Arizona Design.
