I have been to 3D Theatric Performances since they started at the fullerton theater and followed them to Cerritos. Their productions are fresh and current. My favorite production was Million Dollar Quartet until tonight. Their off Broadway production of " ONCE " was truly a once in a lifetime performance. It is a MUST SEE. Saw Parade last night-'interesting little bit of History set in about 1920 about a young girl, Mary Phagans murder. The performances were amazing my favorite performers were the Chain Gang Criminal guy. The newspaper man and the wife. These people are Broadway quality performers and the story was very interesting sad but interesting, I would highly recommend this show. read more

Just saw Damn Yankees. What an amazing show! It was as if the stage at the Plummer Auditorium was too small for all that talent! The singing, the dancing..the Fosse choreography blew me away! The actress who played Lola is a joy to watch. The singing of the leads was Broadway quality. They do a great job of bringing emotion to the stage, and their creative adjustments tend to add life and character to the shows, which is a credit to the directors and choreographers they hire. My family and I saw the Shrek musical this past weekend and loved it! We brought little ones (ages 4-7) who were glued to the performance the entire show, along with myself and my parents. It was a perfect afternoon of entertainment enjoyed by 3 generations. The costumes were so neat and the kids loved meeting Shrek and Fiona after the show. The Cerritos Performing Arts Center is beautiful. Parking was easy and we filled up on snacks and refreshments at intermission. We can't wait to come back!! read more

3DT performed "Hello Dolly" last night as well as any shows I've seen at the Music Center or the Pantages. This is however getting to be the level of quality that I am coming to expect from them. I've been so impressed that I've bought the next season of tickets. The singers were fantastic. The lead, Dolly, had a fabulous voice but so did many others in the company. Not only is the singing 1st class but they do such a great job with the staging - the costumes and the set. The set for this show was particularly amazing as it looked like multiple boxes that fit together as puzzle pieces and were changed with regularity. And the orchestra of course was also top notch. I cannot believe all the 5 star reviews for this company. I saw a commercial for Young Frankenstein on Good Lay LA and stupidly bought 6 tickets for the following night. Excitedly my family and friends went to the theatre and sat through the worst, most amateurish production we've ever seen. At intermission after the first half, all 6 of us agreed it was the most badly acted play we'd ever seen and none of us wanted to go back in for more punishment in the second half. I've seen high school productions that were better. The only thing good about it was the sets and costumes, but that's because they were from the Broadway production, unfortunately none of the actors was from the Broadway show. When intermission finally came after a lifetime of sitting there, I found Jennifer Nelson of 3-D Theatricals who was very nice and told me she was sorry and that they'd be happy to refund the $533.00 I'd spent on 6 tickets for a show we all were unhappy with and were not going to stay for. Jennifer gave me her name and phone number and I gave her my receipt for 6 tickets at $85 a piece for a total of $533 and our 6 ticket stubs which we wouldn't need because we were leaving. Today I spoke with Jennifer and she said that she shared my complaint with T.J. and that he denied refunding me. I spoke with T.J. who was very rude and said I could have tickets to another production, to which I said if I didn't like this production why on earth would I subject myself to another? He basically said tough luck, everyone else likes the show and it's not his problem and hung up. I called my credit cad company who reached out to 3-D Theatricals, and once again T.J. denied refunding me. So, I'm out $533 for a schlock production none of us enjoyed. My advice, if you want to see a show, check first to see if it's from 3-D Theatricals, and if so, save your time, money and peace of mind by skipping it. T.J., please do the right thing and refund my credit card! If you do, I'll write another Yelp review and let all your patrons, and more importantly your potential patrons, that you stepped up and did the right thing. Thank you. read more

I attended the Beauty and the Beast performance and I have to say that it was such an amazing play, everything involved was awesome, from the talented actors, the clothing, stage set up and can't forget to mention the live orchestra. I've never been to a performance, great way to get introduced. I was really blown away by it, I was kind of debating on whether I should go or not but I'm glad I did, we had a great time! It was above and beyond my expectations and I'd definitely be on the lookout for future shows from 3D Theatricals! Looking forward to the next. I highly recommend it to anyone! read more
