First time attending a show at this theater, I won tickets for opening night "Real women have curves" and I absolutely loved the performance! All of the actresses did amazing, only factor I didn't love was the exaggerated accent by "Carmen", I understand wanting to sound more authentic and play into it but it wasn't very fitting and all the other actresses used their real voices and they still sounded very latin and true to the story. Would definitely recommend this show for anyone who loved the film. Few things to keep in mind: Theater is small, but lots of parking! To drink a beverage inside the theater you have to purchase a 5$ sippy cup (not bad) The vending stand prefers cash or Venmo All seats are good seats bc it is a smaller venue read more

My son has been coming here for a month now. He's new to acting and has really enjoyed coming here. His teacher is very encouraging and him learning with other kids of all ages is great. I've noticed him slowly stepping out of his timid personality. So happy that these classes are also affordable and pay for only the days you attend. read more

They make a big difference in the lives of our youth with Theatre, the classes they offer, professional instruction, amazing teachers and the quality of the productions is very impressive. They get the rights to some great content and perform them at the beautiful La Mirada theater for the performing arts. I can't say enough about Phantom Projects. What a top notch organization. The heart they have for kids/young adults is uncommon. In an age where arts education is being defunded, Phantom Projects has stepped up to provide a wide variety of classes and performances. Took the kids - ages ranging from 9 to 16 - to watch the Complete Works of William Shakespeare with a school group and it was not appropriate for children. The show's content, as another reviewer said, was aimed for more for an adult comedy show. Much of it was vulgar and crude with sexual innuendos throughout. Just not appropriate for a young audience. The concept is amazing, and it could've definitely been an awesome show without the vulgarity. I just don't believe that a show that is to help educate our young people needs to have that kind of content. I gave it 2 stars because the actors did an amazing job with their scripts, and I think how 37 works was compiled in a 1 1/2 hour play is phenomenal, but the inappropriateness ruined it. read more

My 7th grade daughter has been watching Phantom Projects shows for a couple years and has recently had the chance to audition and perform in one of their literary productions - we loved it! The director's dedication to the truth of the novel and historic content was admirable but most of all, he knew that the young audience deserved authenticity. They also have youth acting classes that are affordable and fun - with everyone being encouraged to participate in upcoming auditions and shows at Phantom Projects. We rented costumes from Phantom Projects Theatre Group for our production of "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown". The costumes were phenomenal. They read incredibly well on stage and they were extremely authentic. On top of that, the producing artistic director, Steve, was wonderfully patient, accommodating, and understanding throughout the entire process. As a fellow producer, he understood the needs that our theater company had and did not lose patience when I asked him thousands of questions about the costume rental. I've never actually seen any of their shows, but I've performed in a couple and I can say Steve and his team are top notch. They know what they're doing and do it well.
