The pizza is by far the worst movie theater pizza I have ever tried. I've had cold Di Giorno pizza that tasted better. I used to love coming to this theater but I no longer can justify the prices or the drive over. The staff are still friendly and helpful and the screens and audio are still decent, but overall it's not worth coming back.

The theaters themselves are updated and the recliner seats are very comfortable. This location is also not the most crowded, so you don't often have to deal with extremely full theaters. Still, I think it's the lack of crowds that has made them slowly and slowly downgrade the rest of the experience. There is no more box office out front, and there hasn't been for many years. When it's empty, this is not the biggest deal, but if there's any line, you'll be waiting just to purchase your movie ticket. While a lot of theaters have ditched the traditional box office out front, it's still pretty standard for theaters to offer box office lines separate from concessions. To add to this the concession lines are usually only staffed with one person, so just hope it's not busy when you are there. On my latest visit, we entered our theater at the showtime, and were turned away as they still hadn't cleaned the theater. We double checked with the front that we went to the correct theater, and they said they had but for whatever reason they hadn't cleaned it yet. It may not be the biggest issue, but there is no theater I've ever been to where you can't enter at your showtime because they haven't changed it over from the last show. To me, it comes off that they don't care to staff the location adequately, and the overall experience suffers because of this. This is one of the closest movie theaters to me, but lately I've gone out of my way to visit AMC or other locations because the experience here is just below average compared to any other option nearby. I wouldn't recommend regal as a chain nor necessarily this location if you're looking for the best experience.

When I checked the movie schedule online last night, I saw an 11:30 AM showtime, so we left early in the morning to make it on time. However, when we got there, we were told that the 11:30 AM showing did not have Korean subtitles. We had driven all the way there specifically so my mom could watch the movie with Korean subtitles, so we had no choice but to buy four tickets for the 1:15 PM showing, which did have Korean subtitles. While we were waiting, we bought nachos there, charged our cell phones, and relaxed for a while and had lunch in that mall. Being able to charge our phones was a huge plus. Also, one of the female employees, who was quite tall, was very kind and told us that there was a seating area toward the back of the theater. Thanks to her, we were able to sit there for a while, charge our phones, and eat our nachos. However, there were two women's restrooms inside the theater. One of them had no hand soap at all. I went and told the female employee, and she asked me, "There's no hand soap at all?" I said there was none at all. She then told me there was another women's restroom on the other side, so I went there, and that restroom did have soap. Before the movie started, I went back to the first restroom because it was closer to the theater, but even after more than two hours, there was still no hand soap at all. I was very disappointed, so I had to go to the restroom that was much farther away from the theater. Overall, this theater has a lot of good points. The staff is friendly, the seats are pretty comfortable, the theater is clean and pleasant, you can charge your cell phone, and parking is free. Also, for older people like my mom who want to enjoy the latest Hollywood movies with Korean subtitles, that is definitely the biggest advantage. However, I do have two suggestions: I hope they maintain the restrooms better. If there is no soap at all in the restroom, it does not seem right that no one refills it for more than two hours. I wish they would provide Korean subtitles for all showtimes. If that is not possible, I hope they clearly indicate on their website which showtimes have Korean subtitles and which ones do not. We came from far away, so it was very disappointing to find out that the 11:30 AM showing did not have Korean subtitles. Because of that, we ended up wasting two hours even though we had driven all the way there specifically for the Korean subtitles.

Eventually, the theater was taken over by another company that operates movie theaters, and ever since then, it just hasn't been the same. I'm still happy that I can watch Korean movies here, but my recent visit to see *HOPE* was really disappointing. Even though it was a 4DX theater, it was absolutely NOT cleaned between screenings. Not at all! Popcorn was scattered everywhere, half-empty drink cups were left in the seats, and the floors were filthy. There was only one person working at the ticket counter, and no one was even checking tickets at the entrance. That pretty much says it all. Isn't there a way to make this place better? My daughters and I wanted to watch Obsession and we decided to watch it at Regal in Yorba Linda due to its proximity and great reviews on Yelp. Although, my GPS somehow took me to Tokyo Central about a block away from Regal, I was still able to self navigate to the correct location and easily found free parking at the structure right across the street. I purchased both our tickets and food directly on the app, which was very easy and convenient to do. The tickets are less than $15 for both adults and kids under 12, and food items are about $15 for a combo. You can also order a family combo with popcorn, drinks and candy for about $45. You get your eticket right away and you can save it in your Apple Wallet for them to scan. Since our movie came out over a month ago, it was only featured in the smaller theater. However, it was still very clean and nice with reclining leather seats. I felt very comfortable while watching my movie and almost fell asleep! We got popcorn, mozzarella sticks, candy, Blueberry icee, and Parmesan fries. The food was good and not overpriced. The staff were also extremely helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed my experience here today and give Regal in Yorba Linda a 10/10! Fun times!
