Yelp to the rescue again! On our a trip from California to New Mexico, we heard a recurring noise…read morethat seemed to be coming from one of the rear tires. We stopped at Sam's Club and it turns out that our wheels were out of balance so they fixed that. However, when we left, the noise was even louder. I looked on Yelp for a local Auto Mechanic. I found Auto Rehab which had a 4.9-star rating with 94 reviews. They saved the day for us! Right off the bat, from our description they thought it was likely a bad wheel bearing. We left our car with them at about 1pm and walked across the street to a cute little coffee house. We got a call in less than an hour to confirm the problem and get the price. We had already started looking for hotels since we didn't think there would be any way our car would be ready the same day. They did, however, say they'd do their best, which we appreciated! At about 3pm, we walked back to the shop. Our car was out for a test drive. It was fixed!! We got on our way and would make it back for a cousin's 80th birthday dinner the next day! Added bonus: The owner is Derek and the other employee who helped us was Troy. They were both super nice. We thought the price was fair. And Derek provides an additional warranty beyond the normal 12k miles. He told us the repair is guaranteed for 2 years. He said he buys the extra warranty because a lot of his customers are passing through town and live in other states. All we have to do is call him if we have a problem within two years and he'll give us a number of a local mechanic that will honor the warranty. How cool is that?! We were also impressed when Troy brought out the damaged part to show us without us even asking. Lastly, they have a very comfortable waiting room with tables and a sofa. I hope we don't have future car trouble near Flagstaff, but if we do, we would absolutely go back to this shop.

My daughter is a student at NAU, and she was having coffee in her car with a friend, when her…read moreengine started to make noise and basically boiled over antifreeze onto the ground. She called me on FaceTime (I live in Phoenix), and I had her go get some 50/50 pre-mixed antifreeze and top it off. It didn't leak at that time, she then was able to drive to her apartment, where she noticed it was still dripping on to the ground under her vehicle, indicating a leak when warmed up and pressured up. I looked up the highest rated auto mechanics in Flagstaff and Auto Rehab was near the top. I called them and spoke with the owner, Derek, who was easy to speak to about what I suspected the cause was. He agreed and got us in the same day! Within a few hours he had called me with the diagnosis from the pressure test, and they confirmed there was a unique hose that had a leak, that was hard to get to; connects with a T fitting from the water pump to the heater core. I green lit the repair, which notably was about $50-$80 less per hour on the labor rate, than I spent in in Reno, Vegas, and Phoenix back in 2022 (it was a bad year...owned a Jeep G. Cherokee). So, I was happy about that. There was only one hose in town, and they had it ready early the next morning. They even aired up the tires when I advised OnStar was showing all four to be 5 lbs low. Very happy overall, felt like I can trust them to be honest and not upcharge with fishing expeditions to find other things to add on the repairs list. Prices seemed quite fair in this outrageous time we're in now. They've earned my trust for the next time if that ever comes, since my daughter is up there alone. Last thing...the repair includes a 2-year/24K-mile warranty that's good almost anywhere. Not saying other shops are bad...just saying this shop was GREAT!

Mathew came out to see my car he ended up putting in the light for me we check all my lights then come to find out I needed another so we came back Mathew ended up putting in my second in for me.
