They mostly move around doing events and catering, but I had the opportunity to try these guys at the recent Cupterino Cherry Blossom Festival at the end of April. I had already scoped them out for a previous event...so I was stoked to finally get to try them out after all! Prices are at a premium, but even if it weren't a festival this stuff is definitely worth it. Heavenly rich and extremely juicy, with a delicious birria dipping broth and a homey mouthfeel. Like seriously, the broth was remarkably drinkable like a pho broth. Tacos were also quite crunchy, yet while being very flavorful (I'd guess they might've been deep fried by their hollow crunch). Presentation was also quite vibrant; my photos were shoddy but it's still rather eye popping. ==Jalapeno poppers - 5/5 Rich and creamy with plenty of cream cheese filling. 3 Brothers Kitchen food truck pulled up to Enchant in San Jose's earthquake stadium. Their line moved quickly, food is delicious, quantity was reasonable, and I was super happy for it. Only downside was it was pretty pricey with most of the dishes being $17-20 and a side of fries alone is $10. But with that being said, this was one of three food trucks at an already expensive event so I didn't mind, although if I was simply looking for lunch on a standard day those prices would make me look elsewhere. Their Birria tacos were my favorite although their chili fries and regular fries are pretty good too. Definitely one of the better food trucks no matter what event they're at, 3BK is an Asian fusion truck that mostly seems to be a mix of Vietnamese, Mexican, and Japanese. Their portions have gotten bigger over time and are full-on entrees rather than snacks. Additionally, they have new items that they'll rotate in as well as specialty drinks. Follow their Instagram account to keep up with what events they'll be at. They're pretty reliably at the Berryessa Night Market at the San Jose Flea Market. Because they tend to be one of the more popular trucks at places, there are times they might take a bit longer getting food out. Their pork belly fries are always worth getting, even with the competition that is that MOST trucks sell some kind of fries. In general, I think their pork belly and fried chicken items tend to be tasty. Side note, the consommé that comes with their quesabirria tacos reminds my mom of Taiwanese beef noodle soup. Overall, they definitely stand out among food trucks in terms of quality and even the people I go with note 3BK as one of their favorites. Most recently, we got food from them at the Cupertino Night Market and it was fitting that they were right next to Chubby's Chickn (in that they're both really, really good). Tried out their food truck during the Fremont Street Eats. Ended up ordering the QuesaBorria trio and lumpias. QuesaBorria Trio (5/5): $15 for just 3 tacos but they were definitely delicious. The meat was tender and flavorful. This come with a Vietnamese style broth and house salsa. The broth was a little bit salty but the lime helped with the flavor. I love the salsa. It tasted really fresh and good. Wish they provided more of it. Lumpias (5/5) $8: I think this came with about 8 pieces of pork lumpias. These were the not mini sized lumpias. They were the regular sized ones. These were good too! Overall, food was great and service was friendly and quick. Looking forward to trying the other dishes. read more

First tried this food truck at the Dublin Festival and was hooked instantly. I love Birria tacos but the Asian fusion twist on these fusion birria tacos is chefs kiss. My kids always says it smells like pho but in the form of tacos. We've also tried their lumpias (we are part Filipino so it was a must) they were delicious and we tried the fusion ramen which smelled like pho in ramen with a twist as well. Very flavorful. 9/14/23 Looks like I had this 8 years ago per my last review. Looks like it's about the same quality, but even less "fusion" despite what it says on the truck. I saw some churros. Garlic noodles. Chicken strips. Doesn't look very fusion--just Asian food, American food, and Mexican but distinct. This was different than 8 years ago where it was more of a modern take on Asian. Anyway I got their quesabirria this time and it doesn't seem very fusion to me. Got a chance to try them at 626 Pleasanton and glad we did! Bo'rria Trios (4/5): $17. We had ordered 9 tacos, so 3 orders. The flavor was there and it tasted good alone but great dipped in the consome, and best when piping hot. I docked off one star because the portion/meat serving was very inconsistent between the 9 tacos: one order had little meat and more cheese, another had an even ratio, and then another just had a little bit of both. As soon as I caught wind that the 626 Night Market was gearing up for visiting the Alameda County Fairgrounds, I immediately visited the website to see what food trucks/vendors we can expect to run into when we go. One of the names immediately stood out to me and is something I've heard brought up before on IG, 3 Brothers Kitchen. Now, I'm a sucker for Vietnamese food....and I'm also a sucker for birria....and when I heard 3 Brothers has a dish that essentially fuses these two together, I knew I had to try it....I knew I had to try their, Bo'rria Tacos. The Bo'rria tacos are essentially a quesabirria with Vietnamese beef brisket, monterey cheese, onions, and cilantro, served in a corn tortilla along with the consume broth. HANDS DOWN THE BEST BIRRIA TACOS I'VE HAD IN MY LIFE SO FAR!! These are SO legit and SO fire. The birria is ultra tender, has the traditional Vietnamese flavors and then when paired with that consume, it is just a pairing made in heaven. I honest could've had 3-4 more orders and would've been completely fine with it even if it meant that was all that I was gonna eat that night. It was SOOO good. The staff at the 3BK food truck were super friendly as well and you can tell they are proud of the product they serve and ensuring that their customers are enjoying eating it just as much as they enjoy making it. I had my first quesabirria tacos from 3 Brothers Kitchen and I was very satisfied. The tacos were rich in flavor and juicy. The meat inside was tender and the broth and salsa were just right. I'm not big on cheese, but I almost didn't taste the cheese after dipping the taco in the broth and squeezing lime on them. It was around $16 for three of the tacos but I was pretty happy to finally try it out and support the business. The food truck workers were also very friendly. I'd definitely have these tacos again. Tried out their food truck today during SubZerofest in San Jose and I gotta say, they really saved me during dinner time cause I was hungryyyyyyy! I went for the lumpia, pot stickers and the pineapple mango lemonade. I gotta say, the lumpia are definitely on point. I love the filling that they used and the size. Viet birria at Foodieland SM today and I absolutely had reservation about how this was going to be Birrira itself has so much flavors and the consumme itself is so unique that I couldn't imagine a fusion and how it would taste We got to try it at Foodieland and we were told to eat it hot. After some photos, we took our bite WOW - totally not what I expected!! If you're thinking of that tomato flavor, forget it! I cannot in good conscience recommend this place at any cost let alone the $13 for a small cup of instant ramen with beef (birria). The cup was so small that it was barely a snack for a three year old tummy let alone an adult. Times are tough in the 3 brothers kitchen if they think selling a 1/4 size portion at full price is the state of the world. I think all three brothers must have taken some of my portion before handing it off through the window. That's not all either. The garlic noodles were atrocious, full stop. Dry and overly seasoned with Parmesan it seems like someone in the kitchen had an accident with the big mouth pour flap open. You're better off getting an overpriced Big Mac meal down the street at McD's. Better yet go to In-n-out and you won't be disappointed and overcharged. Service sure. Food truck which set up shop in the the Niles area. Straight to the point, the food I ordered (rice bowl with teriyaki chicken) was SLAMMING. It was accompanied by several pieces of cucumbers which surprisingly gave the plate some zest. The chicken was garnished over white rice. For $8.50, it was well worth it. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Food came out in about 3 minutes. All 5 stars here. Would highly recommend if you see them in any food truck festival. read more
