I had a great experience at 2Q today for a mani + pedi! It was my first time at the shop. I called and got a same-day appointment with flexible timing, was warmly welcomed by Lena on arrival, consulted with Cathy on an awesome color, and was whisked to a relaxing whirlpool foot bath. The pedi included foot and lower leg massage, rough skin removal, and expert color application with base coat and top coat. Then to a manicure chair, where Lena and Cathy and a regular customer and I just chatted and had a nice time talking while the work was underway. There was no rush on my nails drying thoroughly even though I was the last customer. Overall I was very impressed at the teamwork, kindness, and professionalism that I saw at 2Q. Although I haven't historically been a regular manicure client, I think I will be now; it's a nice, positive indulgence with a family business that I will enjoy patronizing. And my normally-blah nails look so civilized!! read more

Best pedicure I've ever gotten. My boyfriend bought me a gift certificate here after asking around town for the best nail salon, and there is certainly a lot of competition. 2Q Nails was everyone's favorite. When I went in, I was immediately greeted and led to a chair that they had prepared for me (I had called ahead half an hour earlier). I normally don't like talking to people who are giving me manicures or massages or services like this, but Alex was so personable and engaging I couldn't help myself. He seemed to remember all of my friends who had been in, and what they were up to. As far as the actual pedicure, it felt great, he didn't hurt me once (I normally end up bleeding every time I get a pedicure), and it has lasted for almost two months with no chipping at all! I am very impressed and I can't wait to use the second gift certificate I got! read more

One night I went to a nail salon in Anacortes for an acrylic manicure and right after the woman glued the extentions and poorly clipped them, she told me to wait and began on another woman who had just walked in. She had me sitting there for 45 minutes when I finally told her I had to leave. In this case, other salons would charge for having to take off what the previous salon has done. These women did not! I came to this salon, 2Q and these lovely ladies helped me right as I walked in! Cathy, fixed what they horribly started and made my nails looking flawless for my show! I had a wonderful conversation with her and her mother who was also so sweet and inviting! Coming from San Diego, I felt right at home! I found my new nail salon and it is definitely worth driving there from Oak Harbor! I'm definitely making an appointment again soon! read more

Went in for a pedicure and the ladies, Cathy and Lena, were very nice to me and my friend! They introduced themselves and asked us if we wanted refreshments. They even asked if the water temperature was comfortable for us. The whole process was very relaxing and wonderful! Cathy worked on my pedi, while Lena worked on my friend. Cathy was so attentive and paid attention to any cuticle that was still hanging even after she applied the polish. There wasn't a whole lot of colors to choose from, but I found the exact color I wanted to use because it's one I actually own but forgot to bring with me. I would definitely come to this place again for another pedicure. I was very pleased with the whole process and the final product! read more

My mom and I were Anacortes visiting. Decided to go get a pedicure. Picked out Z Q Nails from Yelp. So glad we found them. Very positive experience all the way around. Probably one of the best pedicures we have ever had. The mother-daughter team that work there were extremely welcoming and very humble and glad to have our business. It is so refreshing to find somebody that doesn't act like they are doing you a favor when you walk in the door.2 Very reasonably priced for the service received. Will be happy to make the three-hour drive to come back up here for another! Thank you read more

I was thrilled to see that 2Q Nails was open again. Kimi is now there doing wonderful manicures and pedicures. She has 20 years experience and has owned her own salon in Seattle. When looking for a smaller community to relocate, she found the opening in the 2Q shop in Anacortes. She seems very committed to keeping all the equipment clean and sterile and providing both comfortable and beautiful nail services to all who stop in. Do yourself and favor and drop by the shop. She has a new phone number if you would like to book an appointment ahead of time - (360) 982-2568. read more

I am from Seattle. On a recent day trip with a friend we stumbled onto 2Q nails, and SO GLAD WE DID! The owners, Anna and Alex are so great. They go so far above and beyond its like your family. Annas nail art is so spectacular, i ( a guy) even got some funky checkerboard on my big toe. They are both so amazing and fun my friend and I have agreed to take monthly trips to the San Juans, stopping in Anacortes to see Anna and Alex for a mani pedi! Yes they are good enough to warrant an hour and a half drive! read more

I finally found a 5 star nail salon in Anacortes! It is very clean and Kimi does an amazing pedicure. I felt so pampered and my nails have never looked better. The hot wrap, herbal scrub and the massage was over the top! They sterilize all of the utensils and throw away the emery boards so they are never used on another client. Kimi is delightful and speaks very good English. Very impressive experience. Sherrill read more

I posted an earler review that was removed, and I would like to try to post again! Kim and Tse are wonderful. This is try the best nail salon in Anacortes, they open new nail tools for each client and change the towels each time. My shellac was perfect for 2 weeks, it usually chips within 48 hours. HIghly recommended! read more

Ann & Alex no longer own this salon. You will not receive the quality mani pedi that you did before. It's been through 2 owners since Ann & Alex left. Just had a gel mani & pedi and it was sloppy. I drove to Burlington yesterday and had the gel mani & pedi redone at Jabooda's! They did a fabulous job. read more
