the self ordering options made it easy to order while letting the employee behind the counter make the drinks quickly. the drinks themselves were delicious and on par with/better in some cases than national chains like Kung Fu Tea. I ordered the Phoenix King and my partner order the Black Dragon. both were similar teas, but the Black dragon was roasted. the subtle taste differences were magnificent. the lychee jelly I added to mine was sweeter and fresher tasting, more delicious than that of the national chain I mentioned above. the boba came out a perfect consistency and wasn't too hard/dry like some other places we've been to! highly recommend if you're looking for a new boba tea spot!! edit: I've seen some people here take issue with the price point of $6.50. I'm used to paying this price for boba tea outside of 29Palms so this price point didn't phase me. Take what you will with that! Wow what a find in 29 Palms! I came by during lunch and there's a kiosk for self-ordering drinks, but the owner helped to take my order. He suggested the black dragon which is an oolong milk tea and I added boba. It was much needed on this hot day and I thought it was cool because he mentioned how this shop utilizes infused teas as opposed to flavored syrups. I can tell they use quality tea and their boba has a good texture :) Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone passing through 29 Palms. Will come back soon! read more

Great spot! In an area that lacks a lot of caffeine options (other than Starbucks), this is a welcome option amongst the boring options. Great and unique options of tea and coffee options and plenty of decaf options as well. The drinks look amazing and taste just as good. We had such a hard time deciding what to choose but the owner helped guide us to some great choices. The drinks are sweet so go for less sweet if you don't want anything too sweet and only the owner was there so the drinks might take a little to get made but that just means it's not premade but fresh. A hidden gem in the plaza right off the highway. This small shop sells some really refreshing drinks. We came in on a Monday late morning and it was pretty busy! We ordered a cup of the Dragon's Blood with some clear boba and strawberry flavor balls. Overall, it was pretty good! Nice and refreshing. I like how you can choose your add ons and also the sweetness level. I found the lowest sweetness level already pretty sweet. The service was a little slow. It took almost 10min to get our drink. Visiting from the OC. I Love coffee jelly and blended/milk shake boba and they do it here both here! The service was fast. I only wish I got to choose my size. It's too big for me. Our favorite stop, in town. The drinks are good, and couldn't ask for better service. I love the dragon pearl tea with mango, and my daughter always asks for purple milk (aka Sweet Taro) with boba. My husband's goto is the athai coffee with coffee jelly, but this is also my 2nd favorite and what I order when we're out for morning errands. On top of the really tasty drinks, you always get service with a smile! I love this little place! Now that their store is open the boba is even better than at the farmers market. People make reviews saying the prices are expensive but it's a treat- and a really good one at that. Definitely recommend the Brown Sugar Milk Tea or the Rose Tea if you want a little floral drink. Personally didn't like the crystal boba but the normal tapioca is awesome! It's delicious, taste is not very consistent though. So I do think improving consistency especially during a rush is key. I've been getting boba from 29'O Clock since they started at the farmers market, and I've always enjoyed their drinks! The service is good, and they've always been so friendly toward us :) The boba is nice and chewy, and the drinks are creamy. They've always been able to adjust the sweetness to my liking, which I appreciate it (I don't like super sweet drinks). I'm so happy that they've been able to finally open up a physical location so I can enjoy boba on any day of the week! For those writing reviews saying the drinks are overpriced, they are not. Very friendly staff, drinks are good. Lobby is small but it's not a place to come and sit, you get your drinks and go. They also seem to want to keep the menu fresh with new drinks and seasonal drinks. Most drinks are not too sweet or heavy and you can always ask to make them less sweet.
