I had an issue with a tooth amidst a root canal at the time, so he avoided using ice to prevent any problems. Given the heat outside, it would have been better, but better safe than sorry is a good maximum. The fruit was fresh and all flavors merged well. I also noticed she had removed her gloves after cleaning and went straight to the counter without washing her hands, which is concerning, especially given the nails. After I placed my order, she immediately moved to process payment without confirming if I wanted anything else. There was no effort to engage or ensure the order was complete, which added to the overall lack of professionalism. The most concerning part of my visit happened when my drink was ready. As I went to pick it up from the bar, I saw one of the employees, the one with a piercing on her cheekbone, drinking from the blender that was used to make my drink. She stopped midway when we made eye contact. That alone was unacceptable. This experience was extremely disappointing, especially because I have had good visits here before. The Juice should take more care in hiring and training staff to ensure basic customer service and hygiene standards are met. Also the staff were available and helpful! This is always a big plus when staff can be found stocking shelves and are willing to make eye contact to help you lol. They have a large dry goods section with sauces, Pastas, chips, drinks and spices. Also their wellness isles with protein powders, supplements and health foods is bigger than anywhere I've ever seen. I'd say their only sections that weren't super big were their meat counter but that seemed reasonable to me. You are really coming here to get more unique items and brands that some big retailers just aren't carrying yet. I found some Wasa crisp bread crackers here that have been hard for me to find lately so that was a nice surprise. Again, really impressed with their staff and customer service. 5 stars for willingness to help and also having adequate staffing to support multiple customers at once. Checking out at the register was a breeze and they have an ample parking lot. When I come down to the desert I'll definitely be stocking up on dry goodies here.
