After a hot walk around Palm Springs my wife and I were craving something cold but light enough not to ruin our appetite for dinner. Fruit Wonders looked inviting with great reviews so we decided to give it a try. I ordered the Tropical Breeze smoothie with added protein and it was absolutely phenomenal. The flavor was bright and refreshing and honestly one of the best smoothies I have ever had. My wife went with the Super Green and added spinach and strawberries. She loved hers too and was really happy with the taste and freshness. The downside is the price. We paid around thirty dollars for two smoothies which feels pretty steep no matter how tasty they are. Fifteen dollars for one drink is hard to justify even when it is delicious. Another small negative was the restroom experience. I needed to use it and when I opened the door I was met with a very unpleasant surprise in the toilet. It clearly had not been cleaned yet after a previous guest and I was honestly shocked to see the largest turd of my life. Thankfully it did not affect the smell of the main shop but man, that was a mood kill for sure. Overall the smoothies are excellent and the service is kind but the prices are high. If you do not mind paying a premium it is worth a stop for a really good smoothie but be prepared for the sticker shock. read more

We happen to stop by because we needed some nutrients since it's been so hot. I ordered the 20oz Green Juice ( green apple, kale, lemon, ginger, celery, cucumber) for $14.78. My girlfriend had the 20oz Active (watermelon, cucumber, beets, lemon, mint) without the beets. The cashier suggested to remove the beets because it does not help with rehydration, so that's what we did. The juices were really good. My girlfriend didn't taste much of the watermelon but was able to taste the rest of the ingredients. The prices on the menu was not updated. Menu said $14.65 but was charged $14.78. Pricey for such a small drink size. There was one gender neutral bathroom. There's a mini mart here with a lot of items such as teas, plant based/vegan protein powder, plant based/vegan energy bars, plantain chips, plant based/vegan cookies, and dates. I am very pleased with this plant based/vegan varieties. The cashier was really nice. Right after we ordered, at least 5 other parties came in. There's outdoor and indoor seating. I wanted to rate this place higher because I really liked the blue majik bowl, but the spoons provided cut my mouth while I was eating. I know it sounds really weird but this happened to my husband too while he ate his bowl. The compostable(?) spoons are kind of sharp at the edges. So, if you get a bowl, be careful with the spoons available! The blue majik bowl was delicious. The pinky promise bowl was okay. It didn't taste like there was much flavor to the acai base. The person working behind the counter was efficient especially being the only one there when we arrived in the morning and having multiple customers to serve. I tried to use the restroom before leaving and I slipped and almost fell from water flooding all over the floor coming from the restroom. I didn't go into the restroom, but the water was pooling out to the length of the shelves along the wall. The wall art is colorful blend of native and fruit imagery. The owners were really friendly and offered suggestions as the menu selection is full of good flavors to try. I popped in for a mid-morning treat and ended up getting a date shake, which was more like having a dessert for brunch. The date shake is naturally sweeten and had little chunks of dates which I loved. It was also super creamy as it was blended with coconut cream. I'm not a huge fan of coconut-milk but it wasn't a strong coconut taste at all. It was the best tasting. it had fresh strawberries, when frozen are a little hard to eat. This was our second favorite. They only have vanilla powder which is a problem because that means it will alter the taste of any smoothie. They need to get a flavorless protein powder for smoothies and I'm shocked a smoothie business wouldn't know this. I rolled with it though bc the reason I went here was bc I needed some protein while traveling. I walked out with a $15 smoothie that was so gross I trashed it. My husband tried it as well.
