If you want a bar to ask you for ID 6 times and THEN deny you acess to their overpriced drinks then this is the bar for you.

She was being her funny and skinny and calm self, playing some of her songs from her Lost in Space album, which, at this point, is like an appendage of my body in musical form. Her album is a part of me. The Vogue is a small venue, but not extremely so. There is balcony seating, and a bar in the balcony, but you need to pay extra for this area. General admission is downstairs, and it's standing-room only. I know on the website it says that a general admission ticket grants you access to the upstairs, but when I went up there, I was immediately told that the tables were for people who paid extra. I considered paying the extra however-much-it-costs so I could sit down, but I decided to thug it out and found a corner downstairs, on the side by the stairs, to post up. Even though I was standing to the side, I still had a great view! I've seen Aimee Mann in concert one other time (she played at Royce Hall in Los Angeles with Rufus Wainwright, a long time ago), but I had never been this close to her. It was an amazing experience. There's a big bar downstairs, and they were super quick to get me my plastic cup of Moscow mule. FYI: This is not the place to get wine! They have a couple of cans of wine, but nothing in a bottle. They mostly have beer and mixed drinks. Before the concert, I was looking at all of the photos lining the walls of the bands and musicians who have played at The Vogue. It's impressive! This music venue has a long history. Lots of people have played at this humble place in Broad Ripple, which is pretty cool.

It's all standing so you can feel like a can of sardines. They were offering upgrades to the second floor which we happily took. The upstairs is very spacious and has a bar so you don't have to go back downstairs into the crowd. I do like how there is a bar to sit your drinks at the railing so you can sit and have a more relaxed time. I will happily come back to the Vogue

Greg's always plays the best music and with the recent Covid lifting of restrictions you can sit at the bar finally so that is a blessing. Aaron and Ken make the best drinks ~ Aaron is really great at Chocolate martinis. Ken is very focused and attentive giving uncommon balanced service to a large crowd with ease which is a very difficult accomplishment in the service industry. I wouldn't recommend a vodka cranberry or espresso martini. Overall a good time if you know what to expect.

I am always amazed at line dancing. The place is huge and has a pretty big parking lot with an over flow lot available as well. It you use you debit/credit card for anything here (bar tab, cover charge....) you will be assessed a $1 fee. The staff there was friendly enough, even though my interaction with them was limited. The place was very clean and had decent lighting for a bar. No country bar would be complete without a mechanical bull. This place in no exception. They have a bull that you can ride for an additional fee. The place has a very big dance floor in the middle, three bars (two were open while I was there), a stage, corn hole boards and an eatery (Rolyno's Pizza) that sells hot dogs, pizza, pretzels, sodas, and breadsticks. You will also find an outdoor patio out front that overlooks the parking lot. The drinks were reasonably priced, but there was always a long wait in line to get one. They were playing some real good music, a wide variety of country and hip-hop, and the line dancers really knew their stuff. I like this place. It had a mixed crowd, with the average age being about 30 or so. It is very spacious, with tons of room. It is defiantly a place to be on Friday and/or Saturday nights. Yeee haw!!!!!

I stopped going to Therapy due to poor service, expensive drinks and bad experiences with the promoters as a DJ. (Yes, I DJ!) I used to spin at a regular goth night at Fusion, so I missed that old venue and was anxious to see what was happening with this new title and owner. Last night a group of us went to check out an event called "Pussy Control," featuring all female dance DJ's. The club is the same as Therapy, with a new paint job and some newer IKEA furniture. You enter into a large dance hall with very little seating, a nice bar and a DJ booth overlooking the floor with a VIP seating area behind the booth. The sound and lights are nice, but the room has little warmth to it - it's a giant concrete square that is poorly heated. The lounge is more enjoyable, and the majority of the guests were spending time in it. DJ's were set up at a table at the front of the room. The music was okay, but the sound was terrible - the music would go in and out, there was a constant hum (like the grounding was off). It seemed like the staff was leaving it up to the DJ's to figure the sound out, and for the number of hours we were there we watched various clubgoers and dj's attempt to fix the problems. TV's throughout the lounge played basketball, and comfortable large seating "couches" line the wall with nice glass tables. We met the manager, he's a nice guy with a great sense of humor and a good attitude. When I used the restroom in the main dance area, there was no toilet paper or paper towels. I complained to him, and he had staff take care of it immediately (even though it should have been taken care of before hand!), and was apologetic without attitude. Overall, the staff was friendly and attentive. The club needs some more warmth and they need to really work on tweaking their sound. I also hope with the new corridor and area they're trying to promote (Market St.) that more businesses open up in the area. Traffic is the biggest concern - there isn't a walk in crowd here. I'm glad to see the space in use though, and I look forward to a long lifespan and a variety of events at this new club.

Fun music, great drink specials, great place to dance, and somehow I skipped the whole line (still not sure how considering at that moment I was a lone guy going in to meet a DJ but hadn't name dropped yet) Would I come back? definitely. but I would also agree with other reviewers that this is a place to END the night (i.e. after most people start turning into pumpkins), not to start it.

I admire her work. Theon Lee left me still talking about his pieces now. They featured an open mic part of the night which was tolerable. There were a few artists I enjoyed. One man who's name I cannot recall left me w a few questions. Overall no complaints about the featured artists. They were dope. Now the set up. Casba You know you only have 3 tables. You didn't do us any favors by moving the chairs to other side of the bar. Like there were far too many people standing and shifting from foot to foot bc they had nowhere to stand. I get it if it is more for your vibe, but it was annoying. I saw a woman in high heels leaning on the way to stand up. There was a larger woman going side to side to be comfortable. My woman who has knee issues complained about the pressure she felt bc she had to stand for close to 2 hrs. Like the public shouldn't have to be uncomfortable to fit your vibe. I'd only ask in the future for a few more chairs.
