Great breakfast burrito and great prices. It's inside of a gas station. Only issue was that there were some egg shells in the burrito. Quick prompt service. Love that they're open 24/7

This taco place is inside of a Chevron gas station so it's definitely not your typical place to grab a bite from. There is sufficient parking around since most people seem to come for the gas and go. The inside is much like you'd expect of a gas station just with a little serve section and kitchen at the back. There is no seating so it is all to go. The service was fairly quick at the register and it was not a very long wait at all with a few people ahead of me. The tacos didn't stand out to me at all. They are ok in flavor and will do if you just really are in the mood for something quick. Trompo was 'better' than the others. Wouldn't recommend the elote here.

I was really hungry about 730 or 8 o'clock in the morning on a lunch break (I go in at 4), and I was really craving some tacos. I found this place on yelp, and they had decent reviews, so I figured I would stop by since it was really close to where I was. I got the barbacoa tacos, and they were absolutely bomb. The meat was well seasoned and tender, and the tortillas were soft and flavorful. The onions and other accoutrement were well cooked/well mixed. Their salsas are also really great. I will definitely be coming here again when I'm craving some tacos when I'm at work.

    Mystery meat from birria quesadilla

I wish I would've read the reviews before ordering. I feel my stomach balling up now, I ordered the birria quesadilla...below is a picture of the birria they put in the quesadilla. It looks like a big piece of fat and that's exactly what it felt like when I bit into it. They definitely need to be shut down before they really hurt somebody cause ain't no way they'll serve this crap their family so why shovel the bs out to their customers. DO NOT RECOMMEND AND DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE RETURNING. What's wild is I was gonna eat here a few weeks ago but when I walked in and stood at the counter for over a few min and NEITHER one of the workers who made EYE CONTACT with me never even greeted me let alone offered to take my order, so I just walked out and left....I shouldn't have returned.

    Birria Quesadilla

Looked for a place to order a birria quesadilla that was close by and ran into this establishment. I am very satisfied with everything I ordered!! Customer service was great and everything was ready in a timely manner. I ordered the birria quesadilla, three fajita tacos, menudo & birria ramen. Ramen was delicious!!!!! The quesadilla was delicious!! I'm sure the other items as well won't miss. I have no complaints! I was also assisted to my car bc I had too many things to carry and that was super nice of the guy to help!!

It's basically a rite of passage to get tacos from Fuel City. I've lived in DFW for almost 10 years…read moreand have no clue why it took me this long. One random Saturday, we decided to head south and stopped at Fuel City. Note that the taco stand is cash only. I ordered Piccadillo and carne asada tacos and also picked up a cup of elote from the little stand out front. We ended up eating our tacos on the tailgate with the Dallas skyline as our view. Super simple but honestly so perfect. After that we wandered behind the car wash to go look at the longhorns and a couple of donkeys just chilling in the Texas sun. Idk why we waited so long to do this but it was such a cute, inexpensive little date idea. Also this gas station has the BEST snacks, stuff you won't find anywhere near us. If you're ever driving around DFW and see a Fuel City, stop and get some street tacos 24/7. The Piccadillo was my favorite!

I love the tacos and horchata here, and the car wash is solid, but I've learned the hard way not to…read morecome here after dark. The vibe gets sketchy fast. I've actually had two run ins with aggressive people just trying to grab dinner after dark. You'll also see a ton of bikers hanging out; honestly, they don't bother anyone and just chill with their own groups, but the panhandling and people trying to sell you random stuff in the parking lot is constant. Also, skip the snacks inside. They price gouge like crazy! Sometimes nearly 2x what you'd pay at 7-Eleven or Tom Thumb (which aren't even cheap to begin with). Last time I checked, a bag of Hot Cheetos here was 6 bucks! For perspective, they're $3.97 at Walmart and $4.79 at Target, It's a total rip-off. Final pro tip: For the love of God, do not park under the trees on the right side of the lot. I made that mistake once and came out to find my car LITERALLY covered in bird poop. It was so bad I had to drive straight into their car wash just to see out of the windshield. Consider yourself warned.

I had the tried the location on upper Greenville Ave so I was not averse. The first thing I want to say is how in the world do they get their chicken so juicy and tender? It is really something incredible. Do they brine the chicken? Is it injected with juices? The kid got the two fingers kids' meal and I got the three tender meal. The chicken for both of us was perfectly battered, fried perfectly, and juicy beyond words. Fries were crispy and tasty. I did not eat the piece of Texas toast so I can't comment. Service was fast and friendly. They gave the kid an extra toy so that made her happy. A nice touch that will be repaid for decades as she goes to Cane's on her own and takes her children someday. The restaurant was clean. The layout was similar to the one on Greenville but much better taken care of. The condiment station was full. The drink station was clean. The tables were clean. There was no trash on the tables or floor. Overall, a very pleasant experience. The only thing was the kid asked why are they called chicken fingers when chickens have no fingers, to which I had no answer.

The food tastes good and the chicken is usually consistent. My only real issue is the portion sizes, especially the fries. They almost always give a really small amount, which gets frustrating when you're expecting a full box. Overall, it's an okay location, but I wish they were more generous and consistent with the sides.
