And then we also wanted to have our warping wooden floors, sanded, and refinished. I was able to schedule to have Adolfo come out and give a quote, very quickly, and they were patient with us, even though we didn't want the work done right away. The quote was very fair and they let us know exactly what to expect. He had samples with him, and I was able to choose the color of carpet and what we wanted done with the wood flooring. Adolfo even saved me from making a mistake of staining a floor that didn't need it. They were great with scheduling and completing the work even ahead of schedule. It looks amazing. I wish I had some before pictures. We did not realize what a difference sanding our wood floors would make! The communication with Karin, in their office was fantastic from start to finish. Over the years, we have worked closely with Luis, and a few qualities have consistently stood out: he is always punctual, offers fair pricing, and delivers remarkable results. This time, we decided to move forward with a project Luis recommended: refinishing one of the wood laminate kitchen countertops in our rental unit. Initially, I expected the result to look like a simple repaint, especially considering how worn and faded the laminate surface had become. However, once I saw the finished work, I could hardly believe my eyes. It genuinely looked as though we had replaced the countertop with granite. The finish appeared solid, durable, and waterproof. Luis and his team did an outstanding job. I was truly blown away by both the quality of the workmanship and the final result. I only wish I had taken before-and-after photos, but judging by the many client photos already available, you can clearly see the level of quality they consistently deliver. There was even a confirmation call the day before with only a one hour window (not like the city or cable service) On the day of our appointment I got a call that the service tech was on the way, which gave me time to lock up the cats, etc. Rob showed up very friendly and professional on time and with tarps for the floor and (good) paper for the walls. I must say Rob took pride in his work. He was efficient but careful with the prep work which is the most important part of any job. And because of that it looks beautiful! He also did a proper clean up and clear instructions on what to do over the next few days. Again, friendly and professional. Total job took about 3 hours. Can you get someone to do it in half the time for a hundred bucks cheaper? Sure. But you wont get the quality of Bathtub King. They did the tub about 20 years prior and held up great, not like those "other" companies where you are lucky to get 5 years out of it. I have seen it working in apartment and home maintenance for over 20 years. This is the only company I would recommend.

In the end I had to finish the clean-up, and I'm still fishing loose steel screws out of the cabinet shelves. Delays turned the promised 3-day job into 8 working days spread over two weeks, leaving us with no kitchen and a house mess for much longer than we planned. In the end, we got our kitchen cabinets resurfaced, and it looks fine. But what a frustrating, amateur road we travelled to get there. Cannot recommend this outfit.

My dilemma was spend $10000 or more on a new dining room table and chairs or refinish and repair the existing one. I chose the latter and I'm glad I did Dan's son, Arthur came by to the house from Santa Ana--gave me a price, transported the chairs and returned them in about 6 weeks. The table looks brand new. Professional, thorough, and easy to work with. They sealed off the kitchen to contain dust, cleaned up daily, and finished everything within a week as promised. Workmanship was really good. I thought about DIY-ing this project but I'm so glad I didn't. They brought sample boards during the estimate process so I could actually see the finish before committing, and they even accommodated my last-minute color change with no issues. I also asked to switch my knobs to pulls and they took care of it. Everything included/excluded was clearly explained before the project started, so there were no surprises. Not the cheapest in town, but definitely worth it.

The quality of work was decent so I'm giving 2 stars (although paint started chipping immediately in some places). They forgot to install soft closing hinges which I specifically requested and increased the price of the project for, but then lied that I didn't request it. They then didn't measure the handles and knobs on the cabinet and install them all completely crooked. They then lied again and got defensive, saying it was the holes in the old cabinets that were crooked. First they had to drill new holes to accommodate the new handles I bought so that's an excuse and even if that's the case, a professional shouldn't be satisfied with shoddy work like this. I got them to eventually fix this, but they were completely unprofessional and upset the entire time. For the cabinets they had to fix, they reinstalled them very sloppily in annoyance and they have been misaligned ever since. Save your time and go somewhere else.
