Supreme Soft Serve - Homemade hot fudge on chocolate

    Supreme Soft Serve

Supreme Soft Serve deserves 10k followers by the end of August on IG!…read more Minimum! Supreme Soft Serve was recently at Rose Hill Farm on the evening I went with my family to enjoy a nice dinner outside. After enjoying a delicious meal by Oh My Gyro (also 5/5, highly recommend), and a few amazing ciders from the taproom, my family ventured towards the orchards and spotted the cute little food truck. My 3 year old daughter HAD to have some ice cream once she saw the picture of the cone on the side, and we walked over ready to enjoy some cold soft serve on a humid July night. Since my daughter already had us locked in for some dessert, I decided to indulge as well, and got myself a chocolate and a vanilla with sprinkles for her. To our surprise, the nice woman who gave us our treats said the sprinkles are made without any artificial dyes! And they were yummy too according to my daughter! Yay! It was a perfect end to our summer night; smiles, sprinkles, and no artificial anything. Supreme Soft Serve -- turning 'just one cone' into a core memory!

Upon entering we saw it was a food truck serving the ice cream ,not a problem. Order a small cone with chocolate sprinkles and a hot fudge sundae. The girl was having an issue with the machine and it took 15-20 minutes . But the kicker is the price ,$19.99 for those 2 items is insane . My sundae had vanilla ice cream and hot fudge . No whipped cream ,no nuts ,no cherry . The ice cream is good but not $19.99 good . Since when is ice cream considered " luxury " ?

I was sooo looking forward to our Valentine's Day dinner at Feast & Floret! Planned for an early…read morebird dinner (5pm!) because we had tickets to a jazz show right after. Our table was in the same room as the bar but next to the fireplace. The bar doesn't have actual seating - they have tables in front of it which is nice and keeps the intimate, moody quiet vibe. It definitely had a romantic vibe with the fire, the lighting and lots of flowers throughout hanging from the ceiling. My only complaint is that there was a table with kids who were pretty noisy in the beginning. Not exactly what I was expecting for my Valentine's Day dinner but that's what I get for an early dinner! The food was excellent overall. We had a sense of what we wanted but then the server came over and told us the specials which threw us for a loop! I was dead set on getting pasta because Feast & Floret is known for their homemade pasta but we ended up ordering a few different plates: Quail Special - This was my first time ever having quail. The plate came out with 2 whole birds and to say I wasn't nervous would be a lie. It was a little salty (not sure if maybe it should be) but tender and delicious. It came with creamed Kale and nuts. Chilled Beets with Mint - Weird having with a hot meal but still so good. Butternut Squash Arancini -- A must try. You can taste a hint of butternut squash. It wasn't too overpowering. Affogato - The simplest dessert on the menu but worth it. Regarding drinks, try their Honey Old Fashioned. I'm not a whiskey drinker but always try my girlfriend's drink when we go out. Their Honey Old Fashioned was so good that it made me want to order one for myself! Feast & Floret also sells their own honey. Before we left to get to the show, I had asked about making our own bouquet. Grace, the florist, allowed us to pick what we liked and she arranged our bouquet

The ingredients were quality and the food had heart, and the people here were lovely and hospitable for us early walk-ins. The space itself had this wonderful, lived-in feel and I could really feel its history of excellence over the years. :) This is now on our hit parade when we visit the Berkshires and I'm already salivating thinking about those roasted radishes in the photos...
