I always get mine to go. Today I ordered enough food to feed a village - lol. My favorite on the menu currently is the brisket elotes. I would have rated this food truck a 3.5 if I could. My guy and I stopped here driving through Texas. I mean...what better place to get bbq than here right?! Where everything is known to be bigger and better! After looking them up on google, we decided to take the exit off the interstate and head over here. When we arrived, we were surprised it was a food truck. No biggie! We love food trucks. Also, they are conveniently next to a brewery, so you get craft beer AND bbq? Sign us up! An even better surprise was that they offered some popular Mexican eats as well such as tacos and elote! We were hungry and wanted it all! We got the two meat plate with the sausage, ribs, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. My favorite item from the plate was the sausage. It had good flavor and was cooked perfectly. It also wasn't overly spicy. The crispy casing gave it a nice bite. I was looking forward to the ribs, but they were a little dry. I do appreciate how they didn't pre sauce the ribs. They offered the bbq sauce on the side instead. The sides were just OK. Between the two, I liked the mac and cheese the best. I was really looking forward to the brisket elote as well, but it was underwhelming! I noticed how much water was at the bottom of the cup and knew that would effect the taste of the dish. The way it's presented also makes it hard to eat. We had to pour it in one of the containers after we finished eating the sausage and ribs. As predicted, it made the dish too watery. The brisket, however was very good. It was smokey and tender. The birria tacos, on the other hand were absolutely divine! The meat was moist and flavored well. I also loved the slight crunchiness of the shell. They also gave you plenty of the consummate sauce to drench your tacos in. Delicious! Even though it wasn't some of the best bbq I've had, I would still recommend them. Give them a try for yourself! They do give you tons of food and the prices aren't horrible either. read more

This food truck came to my neighborhood and I needed those Birria Tacos and Elote. The tacos were so freaking good and flavorful. There was plenty of meat in each taco. I really enjoyed these tacos. 2/8/24 First time here, and I purchased the 3 meat plate: Brisket, ribs, and Burnt ends. The 2 sides were mac and cheese and brisket beans, which also included 2 tortillas. I also purchased the Mexican Boudain. The Brisket gets a solid 4stars it was delicious and moist(just as I asked for), but seasoning was a little inconsistent. Some bites were OMG, and some a little over salted. The Ribs, unfortunately, the 2 ribs I received were tiny and overcooked, and the membrane was left on. I have to give that 2 stars. The Burnt ends, well were just Burnt!! 1 star, I could only eat 1 out of 5 pieces. The 1 piece I could eat was great, a good balance of sweet n salty mix. I also really enjoyed the Mac n cheese, but the beans tasted just like canned Ranch Style beans. (I am not saying it is, but that is how it tasted). The tortillas that came with it were perfect, definitely fresh. Now the Mexican Boudain was really good, just a tad overcooked, but seasoning and flavor was great. Solid 4 for me. My dad and me eat here at least once a week. It is the best bbq we have ever had. We drive 30 to 40 mins every Saturday and have not had a bad experience what so ever. We even ordered a platter Super Bowl Sunday and ate on it for 3 days, lol! The service is always great no matter how busy they get and they do get busssy but without a doubt it is worth the wait. Our first time and we got a mix of things. We didn't get the beef plates because we wanted something different. So we got the full order all the way BirriaTacos, Quesitaco all the way, Mac & cheese, and brisket elote. I would order all of it again. Others there also had meat plates that looked delicious too. This spot is the real deal. The birria tacos are super flavorful and filled with juicy, tender meat. Half of our party got the birria quesadilla and said it was incredible and super cheesy. The elote is also amazing and my only complaint is that the corn isn't roasted, but that didn't stop us from devouring the entire thing. We brought family visiting from out-of-state here and they still can't stop raving about the food. We love having this spot so close to home. There's so much more on the menu that I want to try. Holy moly y'all!!! I'll just be up front - I'm kind of a snob when it comes to BBQ. I cut my teeth on KC BBQ and have friends that are award winners on the circuit. Not bragging but giving you some history of my BBQ background. While can I appreciate and enjoy regional differences, KC is what I prefer. This - this is legit BBQ!! They are doing it right! The amount of smoke is neither under or overwhelming - just clean smoky flavor - pure perfection! The chicken breast maintained its moisture and the bacon was well cooked, not limp at all. Inside you will find brisket, cream cheese, and jalapeños which gave it just the right amount of additional flavor without being overpower. This thing easily feeds 2-3 people when including sides! For sides, I loved the jalapeño cream corn! Think heart attack on a spoon type of goodness!!! The brisket mac and cheese was good. It gets cold fast so eat it quickly. Husband ordered the brisket nachos which were equally tasty. Chips used are solid and easily hold the charro beans, brisket, pico de gallo, sour cream, cilantro and cheese layered on top. They have regular and hot bbq sauce. I'm not a sauce gal but hubby is condiment man and gave the sauce a solid thumbs up. I understand it's a custom blend. The owners - Renee and Joyce are spectacular! Super nice and humble people that seem to really love what they do. We had a good conversation with them today. They have a beautifully rig painted like a big Texas flag and their logo. They are usually at Division Brewing on Saturday and at 635 and Lake June on Sunday. The food is hands down 5-star. Unfortunately they are really really slow. You wait in line half an hour and then another hour to get the food. This is pretty slow for bbq imo.
