The day after Christmas, I called Perfect Electric and they had a technician, Brian, at my property within two hours, which already impressed me. As soon as Brian walked in, he diagnosed the issue in about five minutes, it turned out the problem was actually FPL's fault and the meter needed to be changed. Brian clearly explained what was going on and confirmed that nothing in my house was causing the issue. He was professional, calm, and clearly very knowledgeable. To my surprise, he wouldn't even charge me for diagnosing the problem. That level of honesty is rare and deeply appreciated. This company is honest, quick, and truly looks out for the customer. We scheduled an appointment, and they sent a salesperson for a diagnostic, not only for the issue outside but also for the entire electrical system in the house. Once the diagnosis was done, here comes the negotiator, "Well, if you want to fix the issue, we can; however, it is going to be a temporary fix because if you want to sell your house and you have this issue, it will not pass inspection, not to mention the possibility of a fire"! Of course, we went into a panic because that's the last thing we want, so we decided to go with them. They filled out all the paperwork, and we waited for permits. At this point, we had paid the first monthly payment on the loan we took for that job. Nothing is happening. Another month passed, and we paid that month, until I asked my husband to contact them to find out what happened. Well, the paperwork went through the cracks, but they were going to submit right away. Mind you, the office did not follow up with us to advise on that issue. We waited another month; this time, I asked my husband to call the city to find out whether they had, in fact, submitted the paperwork. They confirmed that the permit would be granted by the end of May. We got a call from the company saying they had availability for June 2 at 10:00 am. We agreed! On the day of the repair, they are discussing coming in at 8:00 am instead of 10:00 am. We have already made arrangements, and you decide to make changes on the day of the repair? Nope, I will not recommend this company for its phishing scare tactics targeting owners, the overpriced work, and the lack of follow-up on pending contracts. If I have a choice, I will give them minus stars.

And they responded with a price. Others didn't respond with a price even though my project was very specific, simple, and with pictures! The price was good in my opinion and notably far below the rip-off price proposed by another. I thought that getting the low price meant I wouldn't get the best of options for the install. I figured the "swag" wire coming from over the door sill would have to remain. But he got the wire hidden above the ceiling with just one hole that he patched up perfectly! I figured I'd have to repaint the ceiling, but he said, "Maybe not." It dried perfectly white like the rest of my ceiling! I don't have to repaint. I can't see where the hole he made was! I've owned my home for over two decades, and this has been the best project ever.
