Of course, the list does go on, and includes things more involved, which is why I feel very fortunate to have inherited the professional relationship that Michael had with the previous owner of my home. Using Solid Home Solutions is the perfect mix of absolute capability with honesty, integrity and fairness. The person who owns the condo is trying to save money and just wanted a temporary fix to get him through the next few months. So, those on here who know me, know what I do for a living. I am a credit manager for a door company with four branches! I personally know tons of door guys and carpenters. Some who even owe me a favor or two for not putting a lien on their jobs. I have known some of these people for years & I have been at my place of employment for close to 12 years. Here's the thing, I never mix my personal life with my business life. Could I get a new door, frames, hinges & everything else needed at a slightly discounted price? That would be a hard yes. Do I know a few carpenters & installers that wouldn't charge me for labor? Also a hard yes. I learned early on not to date contractors and I also learned not to have them in my home doing my repairs. I always try to use locally owned and operated businesses and I luckily found Solid Home Solutions right here on Yelp. Michael was great! He responded to my quote request quickly, was easy to communicate with and his rates are more than fair. My front door was repaired as much as possible for now and Michael did a wonderful job. Actually, he went above and beyond to make it work. When the job was completed, I was sent a receipt via text in addition to a well thought out text explaining what he did, pricing etc. I am happy I found Michael on Yelp. I highly recommend giving Michael a shot. I found him to be reliable, honest and helpful. What more can you ask for?

He ended up hanging up on me and never showed up to finish the work that he was paid to do. Plugs were left not changed, the plugs that he did change was not completed. I asked him to change the switches on each light that he installed, which was (4) lights, he only changed the switch on (1) after he was paid to do this. He only covered (4) of the (6) holes he created to put in the light fixtures. I would have given him a higher score for value, because he was reasonable price but if he doesn't finish the work and I have to pay someone else, then his value drops. Issues. 1. Left (2) holes in my wall and ceilings 2. Did not change and install (7) switches which he was paid to do.
