Does a better combination exist?! Kombucha, a good book and heavenly winter sunshine!

A hip little spot to enjoy a cold kombucha or hot coffee. They host trivia nights and open mic nights frequently. They also have seasonal brews rotating in and out. The mulberry was absolutely incredible! But my favorite is a glass of rhubarb or pink lemonade and a book.

We came here twice during our brief stay in the Palmer area. This is such a cool place with delicious Kombucha. My personal favorite was the Pink Lemonade, while my husband's favorite the Maple Persimmon seasonal option. The staff was very friendly, and the location is great. It was next door to a gift shop that we got a lot of unique and local gifts. Highly recommend.

The TLDR of this place I had heard around town was: hip space with OK kombucha. I'm happy to report that the space is, indeed, hip. Palmer is lucky to have such a cool hang-out spot! I am even happier to report that I thought the 'booch was more than just OK. I thought it was incredible. In fact, the flavor I got (Lemon Cayenne Ginger), may be one of the most flavorful beverages I've had...ever. The kick and the spice was high, just how I like it. I wanted more, I didn't want to leave. The acid of the lemon and the spice of the chile and ginger were all perfectly balanced against each other. It was incredible. I'd say the 'booch here is a bit more dry and a bit less fruity than our local 'booch spot (ZIP), which is nice! Now that are is a place for every style of 'boocher! A great reward brew after a hike of one of these: beginner: https://www.yelp.com/biz/bodenburg-butte-butte advanced: https://www.yelp.com/biz/lazy-mountain-trail-head-palmer expert: https://www.yelp.com/biz/matanuska-peak-trail-palmer

I'm not a big fan of kombucha but seriously the rhubarb and pink lemonade were so good! The staff is welcoming and the atmosphere is inviting and cute. I live in fairbanks but honestly if I'm in Palmer I will stop by here again because it was very delicious!

This is a simple but quite active little place. The first time we came it was packed for trivia. The second time they had an open mic with an endless stream of great musicians. The staff are kind and friendly (and on the ball). The kombucha is neither too sweet not to bitter/tart with that vinegar flavor. They don't yet have nutrition facts but they said (when I asked) that each 8 ounce serving has 12 carbs/sugars (but dont quote me on that). They do have a limited food menu. I think they always have avocado toast and sometimes one or two other things. With as busy as this place has been, I can't believe nobody has written a review!

I live in Anchorage so I don't usually come to 203 unless I'm out in Palmer for other reasons. But when I do make the trek, I love to stop in here! I love the earthy flavors that really set 203 apart from other Kombucha places. They ferment right up by the front so you get a good whiff right when you walk in. My FAVORITE is the rooibos rhubarb!

Best juice around the Valley, in fact, always sold out by afternoon! Service is top notch. Owner is super cool and nice. Brian made my Valentinea patte, thanks Brian!

Midnight Sun is tucked away and a bit off the beaten path and is literally just among warehouses. I also thing it being "panini style" on focaccia bread is a mistake because the bread was crumbly and I wonder if they have it on focaccia to differentiate it from the other sandwiches *shrug* My wife loved her pork sandwich the "Sweet Cheeks". Enough to keep seeking new ones out but even then that wouldn't last too terribly long and especially if I lived there. Midnight Sun Brewing is one of the Alaskan ones I tried a while back and I felt that the beer I had was very solid and enjoyable. In fact Alaska in general thus far I have enjoyed the breweries there considerably. The beer I had from this brewery was the Panty Peeler which is a Belgian Tripel. A good beer for sure and is a good pairing with fish and chips or a burger. Flavor highlights with this beer are sweet, strong and fruity but all in a well balanced way. The beer goes down smooth and is light bodied. A good beer to start for me with this brewery. I'd loved to try more of their beer options. Love the brewery's swag and have a t-shirt or two and would love to score a hoodie that I had my eye on but it was out of stock so I'll try back later.

Between its sweet, modern vibe, HUGE rooftop beer garden, and delicious options on tap I could easily have spent several hours here tasting my way through the menu. Alas, there wasn't time for a lengthy visit, so I sipped on a pint of their crisp, fresh Czech-style pilsner while gazing out at the beautiful mountains surrounding this amazing city. In cooler weather, they also have outdoor fire pits which looked like a ton of fun. Inside, there was plenty of seating amongst the brewery apparatus. And, while the beer line was long, the staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. This stop is definitely one to add to your beer list when traveling in the area!
