Really loved my pitaya bowl. The bowls are pretty customizable - just ask about switching your base or subbing one fruit for another. I like that they offer 3 sizes for the acai bowls. Would go back again!

This place is a vibe! Honestly I'm jealous that it's in Palmer & not in Anchorage. Now that açaí Alaska is closed a good açaí bowl shop is something we're sadly lacking in ANC. The Fern is super trendy in that hippy Erewhon way, which I'm not complaining about because we don't have many places that focus on sustainable health food. This would be a cool place to hang out at with friends or even get some work done. It's definitely a restaurant that's very centered around health & wellness. If a Pilates or yoga studio opened next door it would be a booming corner. Everything about this place is instagram worthy, but it's not just picture perfect it's also tasty. Their menu is açaí bowls, smoothies, coffee, tea & cacao. Their menu online also stated that other food items will be coming at some point, which will make this place a bustling lunch spot for sure. For their bowls there are 3 sizes to choose from as well as 3 different bases (açaí, pitaya & spirulina). They have 5 different bowl options, or you can opt to build your own. The smoothies come only in 16oz & there's 9 well curated options with all the ingredients listed. These are truly good for you smoothies not the ones that some coffee huts make from syrup & ice. I ordered a 16 oz solstice bowl, super berry smoothie & a 16oz iced AK chai. First off AK Chai is not widely available at coffee shops in this area even though it's brewed at Homer Brewing Co. It's my favorite type of chai tea so whenever I see it I get it. There was no up charge for alternative milk (I got oat), which was a pleasant surprise. The solstice bowl was delicious & very filling. I thought at $13 for a 16 oz it was well worth it. The açaí base tasted very fresh & wasn't served frozen. The flavor combo was very good, and there were plenty of ingredients down to the last bite. The smoothie was for my toddler, but he didn't seem much into it so I got to drink some. It was very good. Service was fast & friendly. It did take about 15 minutes for me to get my bowl & smoothie, but the cafe was very busy, and they prepare everything as it's ordered so a wait is to be expected. They also have a rewards program per dollars spent which is awesome! Notably all their packaging & serving ware is biodegradable & plant based from Phade Products. The straws aren't paper so they don't deteriorate while you're drinking your beverage, but are still sustainable. The Fern is an awesome little shop, and I can't see what else they plan to do with this cafe. Everything was delicious, and this is definitely a must visit in Palmer!

This super cute cafe is located in downtown Palmer. Seating is available outside, with more seating options inside their warm inviting space. Employees are friendly and welcoming. I ordered a glacier bowl (spirulina base, blueberry, pineapple, coconut, cacao nibs, granola, and honey) and a blood Orange creamsicle smoothie (almond milk, orange, banana, blood orange extract, Greek yogurt, vanilla, and agave). I was told bowls were taking 15-20min. Despite the warning, my bowl was still done sooner than that. Everything tasted fresh, healthy and delicious. The bowls are aesthetically pleasing. The perfect sweet treat after being outside in the sun all day. I can't wait to return to try more items on their menu, especially their ceremonial cacao offerings.

Wow, finally a place that serves coffee, açaí, and smoothies. Friendly staff with clean interior area. Limited seating though and noticed people had to leave once they got their order because of no seating.

This small spot in Palmer serves coffee and tea drinks, smoothies, and a smattering of food. There are four tables and some couch spaces available. There is plenty of parking available in the street. Prices seem reasonable. The staff are friendly and it seems to be a favorite of locals

This is such a cute little shop not too far off the main drag of Downtown Palmer. Definitely worth the walk over or even better yet, worth a quick drive into town! I always order a 16oz bowl so I have some sweet healthy goodness to take home. The Palmer bowl is my favorite! I mean who doesn't need blues, coconut and granola mixed into their smoothie?! Oh and if you're debating on adding the quinoa puffs, just do it!

In Alaska we are all very familiar with Coffee Kiosks or drive up coffee places but did you know…read morethere's a Taco Kiosk?!?! And it's GOOD! On the corner of Trunk and Bogard sits Fronteras Taqueria and they are rocking the flavors. I had the Taco Trio of Carne Asada, Chicken and Carnitas. The Carne Asada was probably the most flavorful Asada I've had in Alaska. The Chicken was okay, moist, I would rather it again. The Carnitas were moist but missing that same oomph that the Asada offered. I also tried the Guisado Plate: pork short ribs bone in stewed in a Verde sauce. Super good, flavor on flavor and tender! The Mexican hotdog was basically a Sonoran Dog minus the mayo (thank god) it was good, not Tucson good, but good. The street corn in a cup was my least favorite. I was hoping for grilled corn and it wasn't. The Tajin like sauce was good but the crema was a little much. I'm not a rice and beans fan so I can't and I won't rate theirs I can't wait to go back. Great flavors and good people.

If you're looking for a unique taco place with popping flavors and delicious rice, you've found the place! This is some high level, melt in your mouth, eat every single bite type of place. It also helps that it's fast and priced well. Trivia: keeping with the theme of stands, a place that sells tacos and burritos and Mexican fair in a small stand is called a what?

They have protein shakes, milk teas, fruit smoothies & tons of other creative options like ube milkshakes, matcha chip condensed milk frappes, frozen hot chocolate, caramel apple frappes & more. Not only do they have an impressive selection of drinks, but they also have self serve frozen yogurt with a great variety of topping choices, a menu of smoothie bowls, chamoy candy & a variety of esquites. The boba is made fresh daily & they have traditional tapioca pearls as well as fruit based popping boba. They also brew the teas in house. My favorites so far have feen the ube milkshake, matcha chip condensed milk frappe, blended brown sugar chai & blended milk tea with brown sugar. Their boba is perfectly chewy & always fresh. The owner is an absolute gem & also hilarious. Their social media caption game is top tier. This shop also has strong ties to the community. They frequently host drives to put together care packages for the houseless community, support local art, share info for mutual aid & do their best to give back to the community. If the drink variety wasn't enough thats a reason in itself to support this local business! Go treat yourself to something delicious! Support your Asian owned boba shops.
