Like this place don't mind the price of the juices/milk. My issue is the inconsistency of when the juices/ milks are ready. There seems to always be an issue with the juicer. The juicer is sick, the juicer isn't in yet, the juicer hasn't juiced that yet. Would be nice to have an idea when juices/ milk will be available. Example Pure and Pressed lets you know if you order by noon you have a better chance of getting the juices you want as the day goes they sell out. Here I've come in the morning in the afternoon and it seems to be a gamble if the selection I'm looking for is available. read more

Had an awesome 1 day juice cleanse yesterday! It was my first time doing a juice cleanse and I opted for a 1 day versus a 3 day since I wasn't sure if i'd be able to hang for 3 days lol. I wanted to try something to reset my tummy and this actually did the trick. I don't feel bloated anymore and feel so much more energized this morning! I looked on their menu online and ordered juices that replicated 'The Classic Cleanse' which is for beginners. It contains: Classic Green Lemonade Cashew Hemp Milk Summer Love Clean Greens (cleanse exclusive) Almond Milk Root Power Clean Greens isn't on their menu to order as a single bottle - so originally I had ordered the Sweet Greens. But they called me back after I put in my order and asked if I wanted the Clean Greens instead since they had a few extras. So that was super cool of them to do :) Super easy to call in and order ahead so that you can pick your juices up later. They will hold it for you for the day. The juices were actually pretty delicious! I was afraid at first that it wouldn't taste great and I would have a hard time drinking them - but I was totally surprised. I'll definitely be doing a juice cleanse once a month moving forward! Totally worth the money since it really makes you feel amazing and clear headed the next day! Unlike some of the more recent reviews, I had no problem with the service here, it was fast and friendly! My issue is with a few other things: The value proposition: these juices are very expensive (creeping close to $10 a bottle). Furthermore, the watermelon one (also made with cucumber and mint) tastes mostly like cucumber, with a hint of watermelon. Snake oil: the idea of a "juice cleanse" is scientifically bankrupt, and I think promoting this idea with $100+ bundles is irresponsible. The of idea of "good" and "bad" foods and "cleansing" can lead to eating disorders and is not helpful to good health. Inflexibility: I wanted to buy a gallon of watermelon juice, but they don't do anything custom like this. Temperature: the Watermelon mixed juice I got was not cold. It was about halfway between cold and lukewarm. To end on positive note, the space is gorgeous, clean, and smells heavenly! read more

So happy to see Anchorage has a juice spot! I tried the green lemonade and the cold brew. Both were yummy. The cashier was helpful with telling me about all the juices and which ones have the least amount of sugar. She recommended I try the spicy avocado toast and it did not disappoint. It had just the right amount of kick. I will definitely be coming back for post workout smoothies and to try the açaí bowl and more juice of course! read more

I have been wanting to try MJ for a while now but work out of town and the timing just hasn't aligned. We were next door at AMH last weekend and it seemed like the perfect time to pop over. We walked in and told the girl at the counter that it was our first time in. She offered absolutely no suggestions, which surprised me. She didn't explain a bottle deposit policy, didn't offer up any information on literally. anything. That was a surprise. I grabbed the farro bowl from their refrigerated case (probably four stars. Shake the crap out of the dressing before you use it, though. That would've been a helpful hint from the counter). Purchased one of the mylks from their refrigerated case, a smoothie to order, and a hot beverage. When I ordered the golden milk, the employee told me they have coconut in the back, but they make their own almond milk. Then repeated herself. That's the closest thing we got to a suggestion, so I switched to almond milk. As we sat in the corner and waited for our drinks, a woman walked in with a collection of bottles. The employee who helped us talked with this new customer about how juices were 10% off that day and whether this customer wanted to use her free drink. I'm unsure if this was the result of a loyalty program or bringing bottles back - none of that was discussed with us. The product was decent - probably 3.5 stars overall, but the customer service is lacking here in a big way. I'll stick to Pure and Pressed for now. read more

Yaaaaay! New cafe/juice bar in Spenard in the suite next to Celestial Sweets. They're still in the midst of a soft opening, so I'm interested to see how this place blossoms. I LOVE that they have Black Cup Coffee, which is my favorite. But of course, they're a juice bar, so that's where it's at. I got a 16 oz bottle of the Sweet Greens for 9 bucks. The flavor was phenomenal, but it was a little more filtered than I like; I prefer a little more body. Can't wait to try their cashew milk and smoothies. Wish there was comfortable seating though since you can nab the WiFi from Celestial Sweets next door. Parking in the rear. read more

Market Juice is very sleek and modern and offers high quality drinks and juice. They keep quite a variety of fresh squeezed juice in their fridge. I had the "Summer" one that I enjoyed a lot. I also tried their English Breakfast tea which they freshly brew from loose leaf. Unfortunately when we went their espresso machine wasn't working so we were unable to get any coffee :( They did offer to share a sample of their blueberry smoothie that was absolutely delicious and I would go again just to get that. Prices seem a little high, but are about average for fresh fruit smoothies and juices. There is ample seating and good natural light and I think this would make a nice work space. so glad i found this place, while i haven't tried all their juices, I am in love with the Aura Glow juice, their Pom smoothie is good, but my absolute favorite is the Beloved Blueberry smoothie, so yummy. I also like that you can recycle the bottles and bring them back to them for punches on a card, towards a free drink. Great shop for healthy smoothies, juices, nut milks, and cleanse options. I was dying for a smoothie the other day, and did not want to go through the trouble of buying all the ingredients to put one together myself, and happened to stumble upon an add for this place on facebook. Was pleased to see that all of their items are extremely clean. Most smoothie places add in some type of sweet froyo or soy based product really taking away the health benefits of a smoothie. These smoothies were all natural focusing on the power of the fruits and veggies. I ordered the green warrior smoothie, and it was extremely tasty. I will be back to check out their nut milks and juices as once again they sell very clean products with no crazy additives. I've stopped buying commercial almond milk due to all the junk that is put in it. Love that I have an option to pick up some fresh almond or hemp milk when I need it! This is an excellent option, and I am glad to see a store of this nature in Anchorage. I definitely will be back! read more

I love that there are more juice shops opening around town, unfortunately I wasn't really impressed with the vibes here. I came in the morning and having never been there before, wasn't sure whether I order from the menu or pick the pre made juices in the fridge. There was a woman working behind the counter who had seen me but made no effort for any type of greeting or "hey let me know if you have questions" in fact she looked pretty pissed off and glared in my direction when I walked in. I did my own thing and grabbed a few juices from the fridge when another woman walked out from the back, Oh good maybe this one will acknowledge me! Nope. Looked at me, looked away, and walked right back into the back. Even after picking out a few juices and standing at the counter staring at the woman she just went about her business. I should have walked out then instead of paying $17 for mediocre juice and a dose of bad vibes first thing in the morning. Super excited about this grand opening! Anchorage finally has a fresh pressed juice shop! I've been waiting years for something like this to arise! The juice is all made daily & also they have nut milks that are to die for!! The sweet greens juice is so flavorful I just want to chug it as soon as a crack open the seal.
