Such a great experience at Fleet Feet it left me wondering why I hadn't visited sooner!…read more With an effort to be more active in 2022 came a much needed shoe upgrade. A friend recommended Fleet Feet ages ago but I didn't finally give them a try until I hurt my foot in the gym partially due to very old shoes. I came in on a Friday evening and two other customers were already there but Anthony did an amazing job of bouncing between us and providing excellent service. I explained my situation, what kind of workouts I typically do, and he walked me through the measuring process which consisted of stepping on a platform and walking a few strides over a cushiony mat. (Thank god, you do not have to run!) Anthony explained my readings & shortly came back with three awesome options he thought would be great for me. Unlike Cinderella, though, Anthony nailed it on the first shot. The CloudFlow shoes felt so amazing they made me realize just how old and worn out my other pair was! Due to some discrepancy in my arches, Anthony also recommended some insoles which he custom cut for my new kicks. In addition to that, I also snagged some workout gear from their selection. The shoes were $140, insoles $50, and the gear was $60, so not cheap but you can definitely tell it's quality stuff! I already wore everything for the next morning workout and it all felt great! Fleet Feet for the win!

This place popped up on my Facebook newsfeed and knew I had to come check it out…read more It is located in a warehouse area with plenty of parking. Upon entering, there was a 20% off everything sign, so I was off to a good start. It's like Goodwill, but better. A good portion of the store is dedicated to shoes. It's nice to look for shoes with a box and both shoes. I mostly focused on the women clothes and found 3 nice summer blouses for work and white pants. All their blouses seemed to be $4.99 and they had tons of options. The pants were $6.99 plus the discount. I also found big shopping bags like the ones you get at Ross -2 for $1. Great deal. They had purses, backpacks, toys, kitchenware and more. It was worth the trip for me and plan on returning. I didn't take pictures. Next time.

I could not have been happier with the selection - great look, great fit, great price. Same for my wife getting her first cowboy(girl?) hat. Myrna helped her select the perfect style and fit, and again, very reasonable price. I also found a beautiful bolo tie and just like that we were treated like arriving royalty at the "rodeo chic" wedding in Austin, TX. There's a reason Myrna's been in business 40 years. She will take care of you and you will be walking tall.

I was given a surprise shopping experience at Roan the other day. The Man brought me in and had…read moresome things already picked out for me to try on, and the sales ladies were happy to oblige, like your best girlfriends telling you everything looks great on you and giving you more items to try that they think would look great on you. On any other day, that'd be a bit overwhelming, but on this day given the circumstances, it was fun and special. And they'll bring you a glass of wine, beer or water. Whatever you'd like. As a boutique, Roan carries items and brands you won't see in most any other store. The designs are chic and, as with most couture, looks best on stick thin figures--cropped pants, straight dresses, and baggy silhouettes. They have a room especially for sale items that are 70% off in addition to a larger area designated especially for consignment. Pretty cool. Still on the higher budget end for most shoppers. I ended up with a trench coat that he loved and blazer that I loved. The blazer needed to be altered because the sleeves were too long. They took care of measuring it, and I'll get a call in a few days to come pick it up. The third surprise was a pair of Louboutins. I hadn't realized anyone in Carytown carried Red Bottoms. One thing I noticed is that the sizing seemed to run large (except the Louboutins, which run small). I normally wear a 6 and oddly enough, everything that fit best was an XS or 4. I know I'm not that small. Thought that was odd. Vanity sizing, perhaps? Anyhow, a really nice spot for women of means that I'd definitely shop at again when looking for something unique and special.

The behavior displayed today was very disgusting. I will not be returning to this store in the future.

They have a huge selection of outfits and accessories. It's a tiny shop, but you're able to find some creative gems. I think the pricing is fair, but know since it's consignment you can be getting things in the $15-30+ range. I love that you don't need an appointment to sell clothes. You give your ID and info and if they want to buy something you can get store credit. If you want cash, you need to make an appointment. As of Feb 2026, if you want to do walk-in it's only store credit that's offered. This is located really close to VCU so you're able to find a lot of trendy and art school inspired pieces. I usually walk here. You're able to take the Pulse too. Street parking can be a bit tricky, but is available. I highly recommend checking out this local thrift store.
