a piece of metal in the middle of a pile of rocks

I made an agreement to have my sod removed a barrier put down and Stones put on top of the barrier. They did not do that. A large portion of my yard does not have a barrier underneath the stones. I contacted them about this and they said "too bad you signed off on the job " the problem was to sign off on the job I would have had to go over there and dig up all the rocks to see if they had actually done the job that they said they had done. I didn't find out until a couple weeks later that they hadn't done what they said they were agreed to do. Grass was growing up through the rocks and I discovered at that time that they hadn't put down the barrier material between the ground and the rocks. They told me that it was too bad buyer beware basically so do not use these guys they suck. You can call me at 505-980-4015 and I will send you pictures of their shoddy workmanship.

This company gives back to the community! They offered their services thru a raffle supporting the Ronald McDonald House. We won the raffle.... total blessing . When they found out we lived over an hour away, they still graciously came! Thank you for your work , kindness, & giving freely of your time!

We hired 2 Brothers to cut down a tree for a client of ours, and they did a great job at a fair price.

Did a great job. On time and efficient. I'm finally not embarrassed of my yard. Will be hiring again for future projects.

. Paul was quick to note some aspects of my current landscaping situation that were, shall we say, numbskullish

They were booking appts for estimates so we grabbed the first open date - the end of March. Ernie arrives at the appointed time - I show pics to give him a rough idea of what I'm looking for. Nothing radical, mainly trees for shade, shrubs to fill some empty areas and trimming up what's there. Then it's into the back yard to explain further and discuss options. He listened, took notes & some measurements. I got some great ideas to consider with my project. Let him know I was past the planning phase and ready to get started. Estimate should be ready in a few days and he'd send it over. Great - I'll have a nice looking backyard, some shade and all before the heat sets in. That was the last time I heard from anyone @ ABQ Landscape. 10 days goes by, leave message asking if the estimate was done. About a month and half later still no response to that or any other messages I've left. I guess they've got all the business they need and didn't want mine. Unfortunately there seems to be an over abundance of contractors in ABQ that think they're doing people a favor by being in business and customers will take that abuse. No, if you don't respond within a reasonable time I look for the next business. With this one you might want to save time by looking for someone else.

Very happy with ABQ Landscaping. Imagine being woken up middle of the night because your sprinklers…read morewent off shooting all over the place (including your neighbor's windows!...oops) in the middle of the night and waking up to puddle of water you couldn't trace the source to turn off because you just moved into a new property. Yea...that was my unfortunate case when I finally decided to reach out to contractor who could help me with it. After researching contractors online, I called ABQ Landscaping about having someone come out to my property to take a look at potential irrigation/sprinkler leakages and problems with sprinkler system that went off in the middle of the night and they were able to get someone (this was very different from many contractors I reached out to where I felt like I was being put in the backburner by scheduling me a week or more out and they didn't want to give me much priority). Ernie answered my call and did what he promised me which was to give me more details about the time the technician would stop by. He was also prompt and upfront about potential costs/work that may entail. On the day of, Alfredo showed up on time. He was courteous and knowledgeable. Despite me not knowing much about the home (since I recently moved in and not knowing what the previous owner had done...other than everything was dating back to way before 2000s..), Alfredo not only was able to help me identify problem, offer solutions and, in the case of outdated system like my sprinkler control system, recommended the work that could be done as well. Not only that, on the same day, I was able to get some estimates, the breakdown of the work that needed to be done...and get started on the work that was agreed on in addition to the check up. Initially, I thought the work would just me to show me around the remote control and fix very minor thing for an hour, but I was able to get much more from their visit. Ernie was able to have Alfredo stay over to work for the whole remainder of the day to fix and upgraded (where needed) the yard sprinkler/irrigation system at my place. Very happy with the work they did (I'm sure my neighbors were thrilled too!) and will use them for this type of work (landscaping, irrigation, sprinkler) again!

Between the dog digging under and the one or two big rains we had part of the highest wall collapsed. We called Alonzo for a plan and estimate. We wanted a block wall with a cleaner look, tiers the same height across the length, stairs to the top, and a way to divert the water run-off for any large storms. This involved taking down over 100 railroad ties, movinv tons of sandy dirt, adding irrigation and top soil, to the second level for planting, laying 80 lb blocks and caps, steps, grading the top level to direct any run off away from the wall and toward the rock lined retention pond and slope at the side, back filling dirt behind the walls and compacting as much as possible. In addition he restored the rock landscaping in the front that was disrupted with the equipment and rock uaed for the back. His team was on the job every morning before 7, and worked until 4:30, taking minimal breaks other than a normal lunch , they cleaned up their trash and whatever trash was associated with the project, and made sure our gate was secured at end of day so our dog didn't get out of the yard. They were respectful and polite and worked hard. It was an expensive project with a lot of work, completed in about 2 weeks, and is beautiful. The transformation from railroad ties to block enhances our home look so much . Can't wait to plan for the plants. Thank you Alonzo and 2 Green Landscaping. We might have been able to have a less expensive quote but the quality is what we paid for.

Also gave me a quote for other work that was not requested but something we would have contemplated. Regardless never go the quote so went with someone who was way less expensive. If you want to go through all the work for a quote and never get the quote, then this is your team.

Plus, having some sorts of landscape gives a better, happier vibe than a plain dirt in my opinions. I appreciated that Martin was prompted in communications re: quotes, planning and with ensuring that staff showed up at appropriate time. Paul and Cheri the staff who worked mostly to help with my yard showed up on the days/time I expected. I also appreciated that they were respectful to my property and simply could work independently on own without giving me much worries at all. Now that the yard cleanup, sod and gravel installment, irrigation for watering are done, I'm very happy and thought it was definitely worth the time and investment. Best...you know who love the work more? My 3 naughty troubles (e.g dogs)!! Ever since the first day the work was done, they all preferred spending time outside in the yard and inside the house.
