This is by far the finest tree trimming outfit in Albuquerque! I had a 21 year old, 45-foot Raywood Ash tree that was totally overgrown having never been trimmed before. They brought out a man-lift truck equipped with a wood chipper, two highly professional arborists who worked non-stop to trim the tree, and even climbed all the way near the top to thin it out from inside the tree. The price was very competitive, and they did a bang-up job. Even cleaned up the yard and street area afterwards, and left it cleaner than when they started. Last fall we hired Blossom Trees to shape and trim a large ash tree and three NM olive trees in my front yard. They were prompt both in terms of coming out for the estimate and then scheduling service. Their price was very competitive (we did seek other estimates) and the crew did not scrimp or rush upon arrival. My husband was concerned that perhaps they had taken too much out of the trees but Carlos reassured us that it would leaf out well and provide good shade in the spring. He was 100% right. Wow, the Request a Quote feature on Yelp worked so beautifully with this company. It's strange but, in an era where I have interpersonal contact with all of just two people, regularly, you'd think I'd be starved for any human contact; When it came to getting quotes from tree trimming services last week, the last thing I honestly felt like doing was calling various places and scheduling meetups. But that little Request a Quote button? It just made everything easier, and more anti-social. Within a few hours I had quotes arriving from three companies, and Blossom Trees was the first to respond. It's looking like the great reviews don't lie. Blossom Trees responded first, they were the first to visit, they provided a written estimate that turned out to be the most inexpensive quote, and they were able to fit us in within five days of the original visit. They sent four people to handle one slightly overgrown plum tree and, while my photo only shows the end result, it should be noted that they completely cleaned up after themselves, which wasn't easy -- their 45 minute job shook every single yellow, orange and brown leaf from the branches, and left a big pile on the ground. I recently bought a property that had lots of green area (rare in ABQ!) but been somewhat neglected/oveegrown. The ivies grew so thick and invasive onto the sides of the home, a large Chinese elm tree had grown so large that the branches needed some safety trims to ensure they won't fall down and damage the roof, the redbud has way overgrew into my neighbor's area..the compost area looked just like a trash collection area..and even the garden beds/planting area were so overgrown with unwanted plants and dead stalks of sunflowers. The Carlos duo (father and son) came over to help look at.what they could do, made some recommendations, provided me with costs for each detailed line item of work and scheduled an appointment to come get the job done. Wow...on the day of..they arrived on time. With the right equipments, vehicles and even a motorlift to go up and cut down some big tall elm branches that risk breaking down onto my roof! I left them up to do their job and even left the sight unsupervised..and they were super independent and self-directed to get the job not only done...but neatly and cleanly!! When I returned, I was so happy the place looked so much cleaner and less cluttered by all the overgrown plants and dead plants!! Thank you!! Carlos Sr did our estimate, gave us a day on the calendar they were available which was a month out due to their schedule. We were in no hurry, so that worked for us. They called prior to that day to confirm arrival time, and called that same day as well. They showed up on time, started work, and finished the next day. Their crew were workers! They didn't waste time on their phones, or stand around waiting to be told what to do. They actually cleaned up more than what was left by them. I can't recommend them enough. We had a 14 foot yucca blow down in a wind storm a couple of weeks ago. Blossom Trees are the ONLY ones who responded promptly to a request for quote, the ONLY ones that showed up for the estimate on time, and the ONLY ones who gave a reasonable (meaning about what we expected and within our budget) estimate. Once we set up the appointment for removal they arrived on time and ready to go and had the job done in about an hour. They were able to cut the stump right to the ground so we can cover it up with landscaping rocks, and they even cleaned up the sawdust better than I could have done myself. Great job gentlemen! We moved into a house with a giant, overgrown rosemary bush taking over the backyard and knew we needed to get rid of it ASAP. (Definitely some things living in there!) Had a couple of trees with issues that our regular landscaping company couldn't handle. Contacted Blossom Trees for a free estimate, and Carlos (Jr) got back to me within minutes to discuss removing a 25-ft wayward extra trunk on an aspen tree, plus removing an overgrown 25-ft multi-trunked New Mexican olive tree, including digging out the stump. Carlos (Sr) came out within a couple of days for an in-person evaluation and pointed out a scale infestation on the aspen that I hadn't noticed. They provided a written estimate along with verification of insurance coverage, as requested. Estimate seemed reasonable and they were able to schedule this non-emergency work for just a couple of weeks later. Crew of 3 came on the appointed day, completed the tasks fairly quickly, asked how I wanted certain details handled (like what to do with existing drip lines) and answered all of my questions & concerns satisfactorily.
