Robert's Tree Service : So Happy !! The tree trimming service exceeded what we even imagined would be possible. The crew arrived early, was working hard & professional the entire time. Our yard, drive way, & sidewalks were cleaner when they left than before they arrived. They removed huge amounts of dead tree so efficiently & precisely with great care. The crew checked with us about limbs that might eventually be a danger to be sure we were ok with having them cut -- & we were !! Pricing was exactly what we expected for our area. We are so happy & will definitely recommend to others & definitely use Robert's Tree Service in the future. read more

Tree (30 ft tree of heaven) was gone in an hour. HOA demanded it removed. Got one quote for $2500, Roberts cut it down without damage to wall or building, and disappeared it in less than an hour for 750$. Done within a week of the estimate, pretty pleased with service (and getting quotes was a process - contacted 5 companies, 2 didn't show for estimate appointments, etc). And the there was the 2500 quote from the "Arborist". So I was glad of Roberts quick, professional response. Still bitter at HOA though. read more

Robert's workers arrived right on time. They had all the equipment they needed and got right to work. I had a large chitalpa in the backyard that was dying and needed to be removed as well as the stump ground up. Two large boxwood bushes in the front yard also needed to be removed. Robert gave me a reasonable price. The crew of four were polite, resourceful, and capable men. They cleaned up everything when they were done. I recommend them highly. Would use them again if I need more work. Thanks, Robert. read more

Robert's team was beyond what we had expected. Professional, prompt, and super helpful. They trimmed a tree in my front and back yard. They also cleaned up our leaves, extra dead branches, and both front and back porches. We highly recommend! read more

Robert and his team did an excellent job trimming, hauling and cleaning up our backyard tree for a reasonable price. I was crowding the power line, blocking our solar panels and laying on the roof of our house. It only took them a little over 2hours and it looks clean and healthy. Robert came out and met me for an estimate and was very nice and likable. I had met with 3 other services and gotten quotes. I decided to hire Robert. On the morning of the scheduled service, his crew showed up at the house (with out Robert) and they did not have any idea what we wanted them to do and they struggled with speaking or understanding English. I called Robert and he said he was on his way. I expressed my concern with his crew not knowing what to do and his not being there. A few minutes later, Robert called back saying "We have gotten off on the wrong foot this morning." I expected him to apologize and we start fresh and get the job done. To my surprise, he said "we are not going to do this job." I was very disappointed with his lack of professionalism and disregard to the needs of his supposed customer. It all worked out, because we really appreciated the job the company we chose did for us. Needless to say, I would not ever hire him again and certainly wouldn't recommend his company. read more

Estimator came and made work list. At appointment time: no call/no show. 1/2 hour after job was to end they sent a subcontractor who was to remove saplings and cut down a tree at ground level. This was all written in the work order. They cut the saplings off at ground level and packed ground over them. A month later the saplings are 2 feet high. The tree stump in not ground level but 4" high. A detailed email to Robert was never answered. Save your money. read more

Robert is fair and easy to work with. His team is friendly, respectful and hard working. THANKS!!!!

From getting the estimate to having 7 trees trimmed, pruned and dead wooded to cleaning up after taking care of the trees; exceptional service all the way around. Polite, professional, on time and they left our yards and driveway looking better than they looked when they arrived to do the job! Thank you Robert and your whole staff/family; what a refreshing experience compared to many home service contractors! read more

We bought a house with a huge, neglected mulberry tree. It needed a radical trim and I was nervous about having it done. Robert's did an excellent job. The tree still looks beautiful, but it is now up off the street and our roof. I also really appreciated the ease of communication with Robert and his men. Phone calls were answered promptly and scheduling the work was easy. We had a lower estimate on the job, but the men from the other company didn't instill confidence. This job was worth every penny we paid. Highly recommended. read more

We had our huge cypress trimmed and cleaned up. This is our second time using Robert's tree service. The quote was provided quickly, and scheduling was within a few days. Robert stopped in to make sure the plan was communicated to the crew. The crew did an amazing job, tree looks GREAT, and cleaned up thoroughly, even the dust and chips in the street. Guys were well mannered and got the job done quickly. We would definitely hire them again. read more

I found this business reliable and will use them again. They came out to my house, gave me an estimate AND did the work before any of the other bigger guys could even come out and give me an estimate. They came in and did a good job in a very timely manner. Cleaned up well after themselves and left. I will definitely use these guys again when it's time for more work. read more

Robert's Tree Service was incredible! Terrific communication - called to confirm appointment and to let me know they were on their way on removal day. The crew was efficient and safely took down 3 trees on our property. Two of the trees were giant pines near the house. I never felt as though my house was in any danger of damage. I had a dead tree on my property that had begun to lean toward the neighbor's house. Robert came out to look at it and realizing that it posed a danger, he scheduled the work right away and the job was done quickly, professionally and at a fair price. Robert and his crew were not only reasonably priced, but they were amazingly fast! An hour after we called him, he came out to see the trees we needed removed and provide a quote. He then, was able to schedule us for later THAT DAY! He brought his crew who obviously are experts at what they do. They safely climbed the trees, brought down the limbs without damaging anything, and cleaned up after themselves. Taking down two trees took only an hour. I was not expecting this to happen so fast and was pleasantly surprised. I also thought the price was beyond reasonable given the skill and speed the team worked with. I'd recommend Robert to anyone who wants a great job done at a price you can't beat!! read more

Excellent experience removing a huge cottonwood tree from my yard. Prompt reliable service from owner and a experienced crew. Thank you!

Robert came out and met with my 76 year old mother who had some clean up work she needed done in her yard after losing the last two people she had doing her yard, both of them worked for her for over 15 years. Robert's team came out and did the initial clean up as agreed but in the process he completely butchered two of my mom's plants, she isn't sure they will grow back. In addition, Robert agreed to come out twice a month on the 1st and 3rd week of the month. He was a no show every time. My mother would call late that day and he apologized and had a group of people out the next day to do the work. The third no show, my mom called and asked if he didn't have a calendar to keep track of his appointments. He rushed her off the phone and said he would call her back, and he never did. I did research from my mom and chose Robert's Trees based on high ratings on several sites. I'm not sure how he gets these ratings if this is how he does business. If he didn't want the job he should have just said so. read more

Stood us up on the estimate twice. Second time he stood us up, he didn't even call or text to let us know.

These guys did a great job in a quick time frame and a reasonable price for a hone renter. Would recommend to anyone.

Robert's Tree Service did a great job. A job that was supposed to take two days took six hours. These guys (and a gal) rocked it. I would use thier services again. Many thanks to this team for their hard work. I hoped to buy them a case of beers but they finished too quickly. :) read more

Robert's efficiently removed two aging elms, and the trunks. We didn't know we needed to remove the second truck, and the company came on the fly to do it in order to satisfy the adobe builders. Found through Home Advisor for cleanup of a small yard. Appointment made for an estimate. No show, no contact, so I called. He said he couldn't make it because of rain and didn't have contact info. Robert's team did a quick, professional job on my yard today. The 4 man crew worked professionally and efficiently led by the crew leader who kept everyone on task. I have used Robert's service twice before and have found him to be professional, fair and hard working. I will continue to use his services in years to come and will refer them to my friends and neighbors. Thanks for a great job!! read more

I used ROBERTS TREE SERVICE in 2014 when the service was good. I used them again last week. DO NOT USE ROBERTS TREE SERVICE. I had contacted them about removing trees from my 95 year old father, a WW2 Veterans yard. He was to drop the trees and cut them in rounds for easy removal and remove the limbs of the trees. He was to deal with me on Friday for payment when the job was done. When we got to town Thursday evening we drove by the house. It looked like a bomb had gone off. Fence and gate broke. Flashing torn off the garage. Trees and limbs laying all over the place. I was dumbstruck. Then I found out that he had gone into the house and been paid by my father when they left Thursday. He was not to do that! Friday I called seething. Robert told me they would be back when it warmed up later that day to finish. He mentioned fixing the fence and the flashing. Well, later never happened. I had to clean areas for my father to walk through. The sidewalk to the house was littered and not safe for my Dad. You couldn't get out through the back door. I spent 3 days throwing limbs and branches, raking and shoveling and moving tree trunks to make it safe for my dad. My next step is to call the local news stations, contact the Attorney Generals office and the City offices. read more

Cheap, and you get what you pay for. This company will cut every corner, must be supervised, and leave you with a marginal job. It's worth paying extra to get quality, trustworthy work. We had this "company" cut trees down, in the process they mangled other trees. They were supposed to bobcat and even out our yard, we have to get it re-done, still tons of rocks and not level. The company cut our internet line, it took a lot of work to get them to repair it, then they were supposed to dig the hole 2 feet deep and they dug less than a foot deep. They were supposed to put a temporary fence up and haul it off, they never hauled it off. They are many more complaints to this list. You will get a cheap bid but have to pay extra hiring professionals to fix their work. read more
